• Gender Bender: Becomes a girl, as well as shorter and younger, when transforming.
• Jumped at the Call: Says that being a magical girl has always been his dream.
• Theme Serial Killer: With the theme of the letter B. This came up in several ways. His victim, Dia Kurosawa, had the magical girl name diamondere (dd) - after symbolically making her a magical girl again with a bedsheet, he placed her body in front of the mirror to make her a (bb), and he hinted at that by fake texting the name 'Eddna.' She was found in Apartment 22, because B is the second letter of the alphabet. She would be his fourth victim if she was actually part of his canon murders, but he wasn't bothering enough to make a wara ningyo.

• Break the Cutie: The very first culprit is one of the first friends she made during the game. After their death, she can be seen getting upset over anything reminding her of them.
• Fish out of Water: Is very confused by the fact that no one here knows what Pokemon are.
• Horrible Judge of Character: Trusts Beyond Birthday/Ryuzaki simply because he likes magical girls as well.
• Jumped at the Call: Was super-eager to become a magical girl and seems confused as to why anyone else would dislike it.
• Little Sister Instinct: She is willing to fight anyone for threatening or upsetting Zack and Recette. Even if they're alive and she's dead.
• Original Character: She's an OC from a Pokemon forum RP the mun was previously a part of.
• The Pollyanna: Thinks the best of everyone, except for the mastermind. She tries to stay upbeat even after the murders start. After she dies, this attitude of hers starts to fade to some extent.
• Undying Loyalty: Literally. Even after dying, she continues to support and defend those she considers her friends.
• Winged Humanoid: Gains wings when transforming, although they're purely aesthetic.
• Wrong Genre Savvy: Assumes that they're in a normal Magical Girl anime, not a murdergame. She also assumes that the mysteries follow Knox's rules.

• Closet Key: Caused Eliza's "bisexual awakening," according to Word of God.
• Distracted by the Sexy: All the time.
• Finger Gun: One of her regained powers allows her to fire bullets of light from her fingers.
• The Leader: Starts up a "Finding Home Club" for everyone to discuss how to get back.
• Love Interest: For Edna.
• Percussive Therapy: Destroys one of the Fav statues made by Tamamo.
• Shipper on Deck: For Fav/Kyuubey and Zack/Szayel.

Joshua Bright

The culprit of Week 5, and the mole.

• The Coroner: Inspects the body for the first trial.
• Face Death with Dignity: The only culprit who voluntarily confesses, and he also admits to being the mole as well.
• Gender Bender: Turns into a girl when transformed.
• Undying Loyalty: To his girlfriend, Estelle. Her being threatened is what drives him to kill Eruna.

Kaine Parker

The victim of Week 6, Day 1. Also the actual culprit of Week 2.

• Karma Houdini Warranty: He manages to get away with killing Eliza and escaping suspicion, which is what leads to Nanami and Eruna's deaths. He also is able to stay on friendly terms with Zack through all this. He ends up being the first victim of Week 6.
• Percussive Maintenance: Tries to get an arcade game to give up tickets by punching it. It doesn't work.
• Percussive Therapy: Breaks a chair, and later beats up skeletons.
• Wholesome Crossdresser: His magical girl outfit is a white sundress with a crab motif.

• Death Seeker: She's suicidal, but doesn't want to die by playing M's game.
• Fish out of Temporal Water: She's from a dystopic future.

• Everyone's Baby Sister: Pretty much everyone wants to protect her, especially after Eliza dies.
• Horrible Judge of Character: Even moreso than Eliza, considering she thinks the Mastermind "isn't that bad" despite all her talk about enjoying murder.
• The Leader: Takes over the Finding Home club after Eruna, Edna, and Zack all die.
• Morality Pet: Acts as this for Zack.
• The Pollyanna: Thinks the best of everyone, including the mastermind.

• Female Misogynist: She considers only men useful, and dislikes other women enough that she votes for Zange even after Joshua voluntarily confesses on the first day of the trial.
• Karma Houdini: She planned to kill Nanami during Week 3, but was attacked by Zack before she could go through with it. No one gives her any grief for this after the trial, and she ends up taking the position of protagonist.
• Shaped Like Itself: Her magical girl name is the same as her normal name.
• Succubi and Incubi: She's a succubus.

• The Coroner: Inspects the body during the second investigation.
• Embarrassing Nickname: "Suzy."
• What Is This Feeling?: When he finds Dahlia's body, he's actually upset about it, but doesn't understand what the feeling he's feeling is.

• Love Interest: For Nagi.
• Shaped Like Itself: His magical boy name is the same as his normal name.
• Wrong Genre Savvy: He assumes Fav is a new type of Digimon at first.

• Percussive Therapy: Creates several Fav effigies on the first day of the first trial for everyone to beat up.
• Supreme Chef: Cooks up a large feast for the first afterparty.
• Undying Loyalty: Towards her husband. He's what motivates her to kill Nanami, and she even says that she didn't care about saving anyone else's hostages.

• ...And That Little Boy Was Me: This is how he tells his backstory to Taiki after the teen finds a bloody child-sized shirt in the clothing store.
• Big Brother Instinct: Somehow ends up being an older brother figure to a lot of the teenage girls, and is pretty protective of them.
• Even Evil Has Standards: He may be a violent person, but he is not happy with the situation everyone is in and thinks the way Beyond Birthday links his obsessions with killing is pretty bad.
• Gender Bender: Turns into a girl when transformed. He's not happy about it at first, but he gets used to it thanks to the advantages.
• Knight Templar Big Brother: Is willing to kill to avenge Eliza, whose murderer was never found out.
• The Leader: Takes over the Finding Home club after Eruna and Edna die.
• Never Learned to Read: Or write. Luckily the phones have speech-to-text functions and vice versa.
• Percussive Therapy: Destroys skeletons, as well as the Fav effigies made by Tamamo.
• Sir Swears-a-Lot: Even in front of Eliza and Recette.
• Would Hit a Girl: He has threatened to kill M multiple times.
