Alto
The main protagonist, who ventures into the Dungeons of Ivy Tower looking for a way to save his cursed sister.
Melize
An ancient weapon that looks like a woman. Claims that she can cure Mari in exchange for Alto's life, but a malfunction leaves her with amnesia, requiring her and Alto to work together.
- Do-Anything Robot: As she recovers her memories by eating data chips, she unlocks a variety of functions, such as digging up new dungeons.
- Robot Girl: She looks like a blonde girl, but is actually a weapon.
Leina Mindel
A large-chested witch that enters the Dungeons in search of treasures, even if they belong to other people. Although she originally steals from Alto and Melize, she later decides to work with them to uncover more treasures.
- Even Evil Has Standards: She can accept being called a burglar and grifter, but feels bad after learning that the crystal she took from Alto is really his sister.
Shout
Another ancient weapon, discovered by Leina. Although his body is made of scraps, he does his best to protect his master.
- Rummage Sale Reject: His body is completely comprised of junk parts.
Ms. Dungeon
Curator of the Ivy Tower, a hub that leads to various Dungeons.
- One Note Chef: Although her meals look like normal food, they're actually entirely made of bean sprouts, which are the only things that grows in the Tower.
- The Unpronounceable: Her real name is this.
Sprouts
Sentient beansprouts, created from Ms. Dungeon's attempts to cultivate new strains to grow inside the Ivy Tower.
- Verbal Tic: They always end their sentences with "moshi", moshi!
Mari
Alto's sister, who was cursed into the form of a crystal.
- Mineral MacGuffin: The whole plot revolves around Alto trying to return her crystalline form back to normal.
