Capboy
The main protagonist of the game.
- Grievous Harm with a Body: His main method of attack is throwing Spherefriends at his foes.
- Heroic Mime: Never speaks.
- Made of Iron: Gets sent flying by the S.H.A.M. 5000 exploding, but appears in the next area with no ill effects.
- Player Character
- Wheel o' Feet: Capboy's feet are permanently stuck in this state.
Capboy's Friendwoman
The reason Capboy is going off to collect sausages and defeat the Shamrock King.
- Love Interest
- Trademark Favorite Food: Sausages.
Spherefriend Yellow
The first weapon Spherefriend Capboy encounters.
- Big Good
- Boring, but Practical: The only ball that can damage all enemies.
- Distressed Dude: Gets trapped on a pillar and needs Capboy to free him.
- Equippable Ally
- Jack of All Stats: An absolutely average Spherefriend ball.
Spherefriend Red
A red Spherefriend that becomes a ball for you, gained after defeating Sign Man.
- Equippable Ally
- Precision F-Strike: One of the very few instances of profanity in the game.Spherefriend Red: TOUCH ME OR I FUCKING CUT YOU
- Stuff Blowing Up: The red ball explodes on contact with anything, but its explosions only damage robotic enemies. (As of v0.9, there's only one robotic enemy.)
Spherefriend Orange
An orange Spherefriend that becomes a ball for you, gained in the Butt Cathedral.
- Equippable Ally
- Playing with Fire: The orange Spherefriend can't damage anything, but its attack leaves a flame that gives off some illumination.
Sign Man
The presumed leader of the sausage signs.- Attack Its Weak Point: The red splotch on his torso.
- Eldritch Abomination: In-universe.
- King Mook / Giant Mook: The largest sausage sign being in the game.
- Turns Red: Breaks the floor when his health is halved and progressively gets faster the more damage he takes.
S.H.A.M. 5000
A secret weapon of the Shamrocks. A mechanical Shamrock sent to destroy Capboy.- Attack Its Weak Point: The space inbetween its thrusters and its body.IS WEAK, NEEDS LESS GASOLINES
- Back from the Dead: After exploding in Shamrock Prison, the S.H.A.M. returns for the final phase of the Shamrock King battle.
- Eye Beams: One of its attacks.
- Fun with Acronyms: Based off of half the name of the main enemies in the game. However, the acronym itself has no known meaning.
- Humongous Mecha
- Macross Missile Massacre: Two different kinds. The first kind has the boss fire a few homing missiles. The second has the boss fire tons of missiles that fall from the sky and explode on the ground.
- Weaponized Exhaust: Its thrusters can damage Capboy.
- Weaksauce Weakness: Is weak to "essence of sign", according to one Spherefriend. And by "essence of sign", he means the red ball.
Shamrock King
The leader of the Shamrock forces and the only crown-bearer in the entire land.- Attack Its Weak Point: His "shamrocky cheeks" are the only place he takes damage.
- Big Bad: Of v0.9.
- Cephalothorax: Has legs and arms, unlike his Shamrock minions.
- Chekhov's Skill: Even after depleting the Shamrock King's health bar, he still isn't dead. You need to press the use key (defaults to F) to send him flying like you did for Spherefriends and Shamrocks.
- Cool Crown: The only reason Capboy is even fighting against the Shamrock King is for his crown.
- Final Boss: Of v0.9.
- Genius Bruiser: According to Fantabuloso, the Shamrock King is king because he's the most intelligent Shamrock and one of the only people in the LFG universe that doesn't speak in spherespeak.
- King Mook
- Mook Maker: Can throw Dynamite Shamrocks.
- "Not So Different" Remark: In the readme file:WE NOT SO DIFFERENT AFTER ALL PUNY-BOY! WE BOTH ONLY THINGS TO HAVE LEGS!
- Staff of Authority: The Shamrock King uses his as a weapon to bludgeon Capboy with.
- Turns Red: Twice. After taking half of his health bar, the Shamrock King moos and switches off the lights in the arena. After getting the King down to a fourth of his health, he moos again and calls in the S.H.A.M. 5000 to help him dispatch Capboy. The Shamrock King also literally turns red after depleting his health bar.
