  • Cool Sword: His weapon of choice: the Gunblade.
  • Defrosting Ice Queen: Starts off cold and aloof, but eventually warms up to the heroes. This is especially notable with Riku Replica/Xiruk, who ransacked Hollow Bastion prior to his Heel–Face Turn.
  • The Needs of the Many: Urged Riku to do what is best for the greater good.
  • What the Hell, Hero?: Was not pleased when he learnt of Riku's decision to leave the Door to Darkness open.

Origin: Bravely Default
Appearances: The Year Between|Act 3: All That's Left|Side Stories: Love's Vagrant,A Heartfelt Holiday,The Burden of Failure, Another Night on Grandship

"You must understand. I'm responsible for more than just clever and irreverent quips and my keen sense of style. Grandship's people depend on me. Ergo, I'd rather they not see the cracks in the façade."

An amnesiac Casanova who captains Grandship; a mobile Traverse Town. As he searches for his friends, Ringabel picks up refugees from lost worlds and attempts to reunite them with their loved ones.

  • Amnesiac Hero: Much like Ventus, Ringabel has no memory of his past.
  • Anime Hair: Sports a fluffy blonde pompadour that scares Xion.
  • Blue Is Heroic: Wears a blue jacket with a fluffy white collar.
  • Chivalrous Pervert: For all his Handsome Lech tendencies, Ringabel consistently treats women with dignity and respect and despises anyone who would actually exploit women. He was more of a philanderer in the past, but has since made an effort to improve himself.
  • Cool Boat: Captains Grandship: a ginormous airship with an entire town built onto it, which itself serves as a mobile Traverse Town.
  • The Dandy: Albeit one who's not afraid of action.
  • Foil: To Aqua. While Aqua is a warrior raised by tradition to protect the worlds, Ringabel is a self-appointed hero with no special powers who chose to help the worlds in a different way. In contrast to her semi-serious personality, Ringabel's antics bring some much-needed levity into Aqua's life.
  • Handsome Lech: Downplayed. While he is an unabashed ladies man, Ringabel does regret much of his philandering tendencies in hindsight and sees how such advances may have been unwanted. He begins to stop flirting with women altogether as he develops feelings for Aqua.
  • Heroes Prefer Swords: Typically wields a sword in battle.
  • Identity Amnesia: The only clue Ringabel has on his past identity is a mysterious journal he had on him.
  • I Will Find You: His main goal is to find his friends, Tiz, Agnès and Edea. As he searches, he takes on refugees from lost worlds and tries to reunite them with their loved ones to spare them the pain he endures every day.
  • Large Ham: Fits in perfectly with the Kingdom Hearts universe.
So you're one of those Nobodies! Well, it was awfully foolish of you to provoke us. Now you'll not only have to face Aqua's ire, but the seething fury of my love!
  • Old Shame: Ringabel feels ashamed of the philandering tendencies he showed during the events of Bravely Default.
  • Pretty Boy: John Silver and Gaston even refer to him as such.
  • Red Mage: His Red Mage asterisk not only allows him to balance swordplay, magic and healing simultaneously, but gives him a rather sexy outfit that exposes his chest.
  • True Companions: With Aqua. They confide in each other over their shared struggles as well offering outside perspectives on their separate burdens.
  • Vitriolic Best Buds: With Cid Highwind.

    Tiz Arrior

  • Bare-Fisted Monk: His Monk Asterisk grants him the outfit and skillset of one.
  • Doomed Hometown: His hometown of Norende was swallowed by a Great Chasm. Because of this, Tiz was determined not to allow Pacha's Village to suffer the same fate.
  • Heroes Prefer Swords: His default weapon is a sword.
  • The Medic: His White Mage Asterisk allows him to use healing magic.
  • Nice Guy: Very kind and gentle.
  • Survivor Guilt: The reason he's so protective of Pacha's Village is because it reminds him of Norende.

  • Cool Old Lady: Lively, friendly and patient to the antics of her many patrons.
  • Feminine Women Can Cook: A talented and versatile chef. Ringabel states that there is no finer cook in the worlds than she. note
So what'll it be? We got braised shanks, spicy seafood steak, omelets, country-style stew… You name it, and chances are I can cook it.
  • Nice Girl: Is warm-hearted and gregarious. She gives Aqua and Sora free meals when Ringabel introduces them to her.

  • The Mole: Was hired by the Organization as a spy within Disney Town.
