https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/image30.png
Official Name: Sublime State of Piedmont
Ideology: Surrealismnote
As French boots finished the march across the former United States, and divisions were drawn up, Piedmont was born. A state as luxurious and party filled as its leader, the Sublime State serves as a hotbed for celebrities, officials, and other socialites to relax, pop champagne, and more. Under that surface however, lies a dark state, one filled with latent administration. A erstwhile resistance is ongoing, born from the Klu Klux Klan, and led by a mysterious figure, Bardot must navigate the hostile waters if the party is to continue.

Founded after the conclusion of Operation Aigle, the Revolutionary Sunshine Republic stands as a major proponent of both Surrealism and progressive ideals in French America, in contrast to the many reactionary regimes it shares allegiance with. But not all is well in the Sunshine state. A cult lurks under the surface, threatening to rip the fragile peace in twain.

Now under the command of Bert Hall, Louisiane is seen by some as the perfect colony, with one of the most developed economies. But that is a lie. Under the surface, resistance movements lurk everywhere, waiting for their chance to rid America of the yoke of French Imperialism and Futurism
  • Puppet State: Louisiane is a puppet of the French, who have become the new masters of the Western world

Bert Hall

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/image45.png

What else can be said about the Klu Klux Klan? The forefathers of American Reactionism, the KKK now revolts against the French in Piedmont, lead by the mysterious Man from Sweetwater. Only god can pray whether or not they succeed, and many pray they do not get far in their goals.

Role: Head of State
Ideology: Volkismnote

  • The Dreaded: The Man From Sweetwater has brought fear into the hearts of the residents of Piedmont through his trail of brutality, and those who do not speak of him with contempt will inevitably do so with horror.
  • The Faceless: The only thing visible under his white hood are his eyes, with everything else fully covered.
  • Only Know By Their Nickname: As nobody knows his real identity, nevermind his real name, the leader of the Klan Revolt is only know by what the residents of the town where he's the most active have called him - "The Man From Sweetwater".
  • The Spook; No-one knows who The Man From Sweetwater is - apart from leading the Klan into it's revolt, nothing else is given about his identity, with his true name, past or even his aims for America lying in a enigma. Ominously, even his biography is sparse in giving any info regarding him, as instead of the normal matter-of-fact description of the faction leader it's instead written as a excerpt from a note posted to a billboard detailing his crimes.

Flag of the Anarchic Realm of Americana
Official Name: Seattle Commune, Anarchic Realm of Americana (American Reunification)
Ideology: Vanguard Anarchismnote
Seattle was once the heart of the American Pacific North West, but now, it is nothing more than an anarchic haven for bandits. Under the command of Howard Unruh and his "Vanguardist" loyalists, the region seeks to reunite America under their image, and make Mother Anarchy proud
  • 0% Approval Rating: With it being a "anarchist" state that more closely resembles a bandit fiefdom, the Seattle Commune is rejected by the vast majority of the world's nations and struggles to get any national legitimacy, with them potentialy having to beg Japan for any kind of recognition at a international level.
  • Anarchy Is Chaos: Seattle is in a state of anarchy at game start, with militias running rampant.
  • Pacifism Is Cowardice: The instance taken by the Commune towards pacifists is that they are a burden to the nation at best and counter-revolutionaries at worst, and they are persecuted in the same way the rich and the elite are.
  • Would Hurt a Child: As the Commune and Unruh deems that the revolution needs all walks of life and every member of society contributing to succeed, universal age labor is implemented as children are "provided" work within the Commune.

Post-Unification
Role: Head of State
Ideology: Vanguard Anarchismnote

  • Blood Knight: As expected of someone like Unruh, he takes a very violent and bloody view of what "anarchism" means, directly providing a new combat theory called Anarchic Warfare, based around the concept of speed and destruction in order to torch the Old World and any enemies of the revolution.
  • Cult of Personality: While de jure simply a uniting figure and military leader within the Commune, de facto Unruh has cultivated a massive personality cult that holds sway of the Seattle Commune according to his wims as the savior of the revolution, the man of the people and the leader of freedom.
  • Freudian Excuse: Serving in the ranks of the Western Emergency Command after being drafted into the Great Northern War did not do any good to Unruh's mind, and his young self had his innocence destroyed and his apathy towards death grow as he went through lengthy marches through Jefferson and Deseret as he saw many of his fellow men die alongside him.
  • Historical Villain Upgrade: A mass shooter OTL, Howard Unruh leads a bandit state in Seattle.

Ideology: Military Dictatorshipnote

  • Politically Incorrect Villain: As expected of a Silver Legion aligned military leader, but Kemp is specially notable for being able to align with the Klu Klux Klan and integrate them into the Legion, while also "encouraging black labor" and reducing the Black population within the Legion's realm into conditions that are analogous to slavery.

Ideology: Social Patriotismnote

  • A Lighter Shade of Black: Hansen is just as racist as Pelley and will support the Silver Legion's racial policies by enforcing eugenics once he gets into power, while also being by far the Pelley sucessor most willing to liberalize and take on his older ideas such as legalizing the worker unions, allowing inheritance and supporting democracy to a certain extent.

  • Child Soldier: In Judgement Day's AH, Manson ended up drafted into Moseley's American Pioneers during his early teenage years, where he endured everyday drills, interrogations, beatings and more until he commited his first kill at 13 years old - and it wasn't much longer until he escaped after that.
  • Sinister Shades: Manson wears a pair of dark shades in his portrait. As for the sinister part, it's Charles Manson.
