The Astronaut
A faceless astronaut who is sent to chart the ARY-26, a colorful planet in hopes that its safe for the colonization, they encounter more than they barged in for when they explore deeper in the shattered planet.
- Ambiguous Gender: Their gender is only become apparent when we, the player, choose an image when EKO asks us to choose.
- Body Horror: They suffer one each time they eat a Orange Goo to increase health and stamina, but each time they eat the goo, space tumors start to grow on them, said turmors are the reason why our health and stamina grow.
- Eaten Alive: When they defeat Terratomo and retrieve the seed, Terratomo eats them alive but poops them back all the way to the top of the tower.
- Energy Weapon: Their Nomad plasma pistol they can craft for themselves.
- Flipping the Bird: After turning offline Kronus from the DL-C1, they pull the middle finger on the deactivated brain of Kronus.
- Silent Protagonist: Aside from grunting and groaning, you don't talk. Which pisses Kronus off, because he finally has someone to talk to after being dumped at a dump site and you won't even talk back.
EKO
The Artificial Intelligence tasked to help and monitor us in ARY-26. She constantly mocks our death and our miserable stay at the planet.
- Artificial Intelligence: And a very rude one too.
- Everyone Has Standards: She might joke of our many deaths and bad futures when returning home, but even she hates Martin enough to try and shit-talk about him before her programming forces her praise him.
- Jerkass: EKO is very prone of laughing at our misery and even betted on us with another A.I. when she loses connection with us in our way to fight Terratomo.
Supporting Characters
Martin Tweed
The Ceo of Kindred Aerospace, the fourth best space travel company on Earth and a massively wealthy man. He orders us in a secret transmission that there is something incredibly valuable inside the tower we discover and wants us to find it and retrieve it.
- Hate Sink: Corrupt Ceo of a corporate body who turned Earth into a toxic waste of a rock, he is an extravagant jerk who belittles the misfortunes of people and profits from their suffering. He throws a massive tantrum when we return to Earth without the seed, fully knowing that the seed caused the creation and destruction of ARY-26 but not caring that he might kill countless people by creating an unstable planet to house all the people he has hurted.
