• Accidental Pervert: Especialy with Ohana.
• Babies Ever After: Jinbei ended up having nine children, three for each of his wives; Oharu, Hibachi, and Kuroageha.
• Beware the Nice Ones: If you're a good guy, he'll be your best friend. If you're bad, he'll kick your ass six ways from Sunday.
• Big "WHAT?!": Catchphrase
• Chick Magnet: He has Haru, Hibachi, Kuroageha better known as The Insect Magistrate and Nagatomimaru. Not that he notices.
• Cloud Cuckoo Lander: His samurai ideals and the reality around him are constantly at odds. Reality doesn't stand a chance.
• Cooldown Hug: The Magistrate gives one to him during his Superpowered Evil Side.

• Marry Them All: By the time skip finale, Jinbei ended up marrying Oharu, Hibachi and Kuroageha. It has not yet been decided whose the legal wife and whose the concubines.
• Nice Guy: The guy is a total teddy bear to people he likes.
• No Indoor Voice: None whatsoever.

• Superpowered Evil Side: Jinbei has an hidden power that turn his hair and skin pale white and his power increase. It is revealed that he is also a descendant from the Insect Hunter Clan, like Mugai.

• Babies Ever After: Hibachi, after marrying Jinbei, ended up having three kids after seven years had pass.
• Faux Action Girl: Unfortunately, more often than not, she gets her ass handed to her so Jinbei can save the day.
• Fangirl: For Mugai
• Highly-Visible Ninja
• Ms. Fanservice: Almost Reluctant Fanservice Girl except for times that she intentionally does it like using her top as a glider to float in the air but she does frequently find herself showing more than she intended.
• Throw Down the Bomblet: Her
• Tsundere: To Jinbei

Shungiku Koikawa

• Absurd Cutting Power: He can perfectly Clean Cut anything with a weapon even if that weapon happens to be a saw.
• Expy: From the hair, to the rampant scars and love of fighting, he's practically a twin of Kenpachi Zaraki.
• Momma's Boy: He loved his mother and went berserk killing his father's entire gang (earning his title Killer of 99) thinking they killed her.

• Minored in Ass-Kicking: Actually one of the stronger characters in the story but prefers to avoid fights and not display his abilities.

Kuroageha

Voiced by: Megumi Han

• Babies Ever After: Within seven years, Kuroageha ended up having three kids with Jinbei within their marriage.
• Depower: After being hit with special weapon of the Insect Hunter, the Magistrate is incapable of using her Walking Wasteland power. Since she would really like to not have that power in the first place, it's a mixed blessing.
• Emotionless Girl: She doesnt show many of emotion due to her dark past, but she is lighting up when she met Jinbei.
• Knightin Sour Armor
• Mystical White Hair: She is a poisonous person and is very mysterious.
• Poisonous Person: Her body is so poisonous, that even touching her will kill you.
• Power Up Full Color Change: Her hair and clothes turns purple after activated her poison powers.
• Signature Sound Effect: Kuroageha's hat has two bells hanging from opposite corners. A short jingle will sound whenever a scene opens with her. Before she's introduced to the audience, anything she said would be replaced by a short jingle as well.

• The Ace: He is the strongest person on his team.
• The Assimilator: His sword has the ability to absorb insects and mimic/adapt their strength/abilities.
• Anime Hair: His long white hair and massive bangs makes Sephiroth looks tame compared to him.
• BFS: He wields a massive zanbato/halberd. It can also grow in size.
