  • Manly Tears: He weeps while sharing with Yen a memory of peace during the war where he and Frankie got to listen to the Ali-Frazier fight and didn't have to fight.
  • Secret-Keeper: He knew his father was a gun for hire and kept it from sister Lou so she wouldn't have her view of her dad ruined.

  • Broken Pedestal: She's heartbroken to learn that her father wasn't actually the principled man he claimed to be, but an assassin for the Continental.
  • Daddy's Girl: She adores their father, following his stated philosophy of Does Not Like Guns and struggling to keep his dojo open.
  • Does Not Like Guns: Following her father's philosophy, she refuses to use guns. She'll use any other lethal weaponry, but not guns.

Since she knows how much danger they're in, she introduces herself to Winston by half-lynching him in her and Frankie's movie theater.
