Bello
- Character Tics: Taps his fingers together when nervous or thinking.
- Color-Coded Characters: He is associated with red.
- Dreadlock Rasta: His hair kind of resembles dreadlocks to a point.
- Fiery Redhead: He's very passionate and he's covered in red fur.
- Genki Boy: He never seems to run out of steam.
- Half-Dressed Cartoon Alien: He doesn't seem to wear any pants.
- Heterosexual Life-Partners: He is shown to be this with Goomo.
- Jerk with a Heart of Gold: His exuberance can get the better of him and cause his friends trouble, but he always means well.
- Like Brother and Sister: He's like a big brother to Rita. This is particularly evident in episodes like "Royal Frame".
- Reality Warper: He becomes one in "Silent Sheriff." It doesn't go too well.
Goomo
- Big Eater: He's also a bit pudgier than the other kids.
- The Big Guy: Also doubles as The Heart.
- Color-Coded Characters: He is associated with magenta.
- Cool Helmet: He is always seen wearing it. Taking it off is not ideal.
- Fat Idiot: He's shown to act like this sometimes, due to being a young child. Other times, however, he can be very bright.
- Goofy Buckteeth: Goomo has buckteeth that are visible whenever he opens his mouth, and is wacky guy who doesn't always think his plans through, and often shows a bit of naiveté - easily swayed by other people's opinions.
- Hidden Depths: He can play the piano very well. It's how he pilots his house.
- Speech Impediment: He speaks with a noticeable lisp.
Mina
- Voiced by: Emma Weaver (English), Isacha Mengíbar (Spanish)Other versions
- An Alien Named "Bob": An alien named Mina.
- Bait-and-Switch: In "Mina's Party". Researching about how to 'have fun' in the same way as the rest of her peers, a book seemingly falls from the top of her pile onto her foot, causing an intense reaction. Reading through it, she finds out "How to Make a Party" through a coincidental page. By standard of her Mad Scientist archetype, she expresses mad laughter with a lightning strike accompanying it.
- In the next scene, she encourages everyone else to come into her laboratory for said party through a widescreen monitor, aggressively rubbing the head of something made of latex that has a slight translucency to it as a reference to the Godfather. Once all of her peers come in and watch the feed, it reveals that she was actually rubbing a white balloon and is wearing a party hat.
- Child Prodigy: She's no older than ten, but is very much Jammbo's local genius with the experiments she performs and the gadgets she builds.
- Color-Coded Characters: She is associated with blue.
- Gadgeteer Genius: Loves to invent new gadgets.
- Girliness Upgrade: She gets one in "Home, Flying Home".
- Little Miss Snarker: She can get quite smart-mouthed at times.
- Reality Warper: During the live feed of the party introduction, she seemingly manipulates the background to show her dancing in two different formations in front of a pulsating, colour wheel. Along with that, she somehow shows the four activities that will be done through a quartered pie. Then, right after that, she shows the four remaining children smiling and holding hands with one another, only to hold them all in one hand... And, there's a lot of other warping that happens. Evidence that shows it was still a live feed is that she asked the audience a question, waiting for their answer. When the question is answered with "yes", the scene randomly transfers from the camera to the physical world beyond the internal fourth wall - the same area her audience was in.
- Team Mom: She tries to act like this sometimes.
- Tempting Fate: Before she places a pink substance (actually sea salt, water, and Oofaloo tree sap combined) into a heater before locating the parent of a dodo, she says "This won't take long, right?" to which Rita replies "Of course not!"
- Tomboy with a Girly Streak: In "Home, Flying Home", she takes a liking to the pink dress Rita gave her.
- Vitriolic Best Buds: She does tend to squabble with Bello a lot, but they're still good friends none the less.
- What the Hell Is That Accent?: Speaks in a vaguely foreign accent that kinda sounds halfway between Scottish and German.
Rita
- Voiced by: Isabella Blake-Thomas (English), Annie Rojas (Latin American Spanish)Other versions
- An Alien Named "Bob": An alien named Rita.
- Boyish Short Hair: Her hair barely reaches her shoulders and appears to be stuck to her head.
- Bratty Half-Pint: Can be like this at times.
- Color-Coded Characters: She is associated with pink.
- Companion Cube: She carries around a doll she calls Princess and talks to it like she would to an actual person.
- Cuteness Proximity: To the dodos.
- Drunk with Power: When the King makes her Queen temporarily, she becomes really bossy and forces her friends to do things the way she want them to. She gets better.
- Kid-Appeal Character: All of the kids could be considered this, but Rita definitely seems the most kid-friendly.
- Like Brother and Sister: Like a little sister to Bello.
- Pink Is Feminine: Not only is she colored pink, but pink is her favorite color, and she has feminine interests going off her favorite toy being her Princess doll, and her affinity for tea parties.
Ongo
- Voiced by: Uncredited actor (babbling, giggles, cries), Stock Sound Effects (other vocal effects), Bruno Coronel ("Rita Adopts A Dodo")
- Bilingual Bonus: His name is a play on words for "Hongo", which means "Mushroom" in Spanish. However, in the US, his name is short for "Ongoing".
- Color-Coded Characters: He is associated with yellow/orangenote .
- Cute Mute: He normally doesn't speak except for making sound effects or babbling incoherently (think Motor Mouth from Police Academy). However, in the episode "Rita Adopts a Dodo", he says "Oh, Mama!".
- Hurt Foot Hop: Does this in "Jammbo's Many Worlds" when his foot was crushed.
- The Illegible: As shown in "Queen's Birthday", he has sloppy handwriting.
- Meaningful Name: His is a play on words for "hongo", which means "mushroom" in Spanish, as his head is shaped much like a mushroom.
- Out of Focus: He rarely appears, and when he does, he doesn't really do anything, he's just...there.
- Toyless Toyline Character: He is the only one of the main kids to lack an official plushie.
- Suddenly Voiced:
- In "Rita Adopts A Dodo", he says "Oh, mama..." in response to seeing a morbidly obese dodo.
- He's a lot more vocal than normal in "Jammbo's Many Worlds", even saying "Oh no!" multiple times.
- Wham Line: In "Jammbo's Many Worlds", when his foot is injured, rather than shrug it off like he would anything else, he shrieks in pain.
The King
- Voiced by: Adam Longworth
- Adipose Rex: The most portly character on the show.
- Big Ol' Unibrow: He has a large, bushy unibrow above his eyes, adding to his goofy appearance.
- Foolish Husband, Responsible Wife: Far smarter and more sensible than her husband.
- Manchild: The King is very childish.
- Parenting the Husband: Sometimes, the Queen is doing this to the King, but he's slightly more mature around her than around the kids.
- One of the Kids: The King regularly hangs out and plays with the kids, especially Rita and thusly often regresses to their level of maturity (not that this was hard in the first place).
- Why Did It Have to Be Snakes?: He's afraid of the dark. This only really serves as a major plot point in one episode, where he tries to sleep in Bello's house but keeps getting scared the moment Bello turns out the lights. The King does get over this fear, though.
The Queen
- Voiced by: Beth Chalmers
- Closer to Earth: Far more sensible and down-to-earth than the King.
- Happily Married: The King and Queen have a very happy relationship in spite of their personality difference.
- Parental Substitute: Is pretty much the kids' mother in all but biological relation, especially for Bello. She takes care of them when they're hurt, looks out of their safety and well-being and is quick to chide the kids for attempting something stupid or reckless.
- Yellow/Purple Contrast: She wears a yellow dress to contrast her purple skin/hair.
