The Protagonist

The Protagonist is the main character in I Am Alive. He was on his way to the east coast when The Event happened. Since then he has made it his life goal to reunite with his wife and child. He is very fit and agile but also untrained in firearms.
- Dark and Troubled Past: In the note his wife left he states she "forgives him for everything". What that is never stated but hints at something big.
- Good Is Not Soft: Oh sure he'll take in a sweet little girl but also gut and shoot anyone when she's hanging on his back.
- Hunk: Dark haired, chiseled jawed, and a figure you'd die for.
- Nerves of Steel: Will see some pretty depraved things but will never directly be affected by them.
- Papa Wolf: To Mei in general even calling her honey and sweetie.
- Rule of Cool: The reason he owns a shotgun as it is very imposing and scares many gang members.
