The Heroes
Isabelle
Isabelle
The newest member of Ashihara Village, and later the Lightning Heroine and de-facto leader of the Heroes. Although diligent and loyal, Isabelle struggles to believe in herself, not knowing who she truly is inside.- Nice Girl: Has trouble disliking others, and prefers as little conflict as possible. She's incredibly kind to whoever she meets, sometimes to a fault.

Tom
A friendly, hardworking tanuki who works in the Town Hall as deputy mayor. Later, after receiving his powers, he becomes the Earth Hero.
- Big Fun: He's more on the chubby side, and is possibly one of the most jovial animals in the village. He likes to make jokes and make others laugh.
- Family Theme Naming: He comes from a well-respected tanuki family, who all have names beginning with T: Timothy, Tabitha, Tarquin etc. This eventually extends to some of his own children, namely Tobias.
- Tanuki: Is one. He's often called a 'bear-dog', recalling his cuddly nature.
Rubicante

A grumpy, cynical artist whose constant bad temper makes him a force to be reckoned with. After receiving his powers, he becomes the Fire Hero.- Deadpan Snarker: Often makes snide comments about others or situations, usually with his signature nonchalant face.
- Eyes Always Shut: No matter his emotion, Rubicante's eyes stay closed. Word of God confirms that he does have eyes under there, and that they're green.
- Family Theme Naming: His whole family has names that remind of colours: Rowan, Quicksilver, Green, and Rubicante's name is "red-faced terror" in Italian.
- Hair-Trigger Temper: Many things can set him off. In particular, his fellow teammate Kapp'n who has a tendency to challenge Rubicante's opinions seemingly just to annoy him.
