Richard Gladwell

Played By: Hakeem Kae-Kazim

A quietly effective assassin targeting politicians aligned with both the Falcone and Maroni families. His actions threaten to lead to civil war between the mobs. The true intentions of his client haven't been revealed.

  • Apologetic Attacker: After killing one councilman, he ruefully explains that he did actually vote for him.
  • Badass Bureaucrat: Spends his days working in an employment agency. His nights go to other pursuits.
  • Consummate Professional: Gladwell always follows through on the assassinations he is hired for, and expresses distaste for prolonged death.
  • Eye Scream: One of his victims is impaled through the eye.
  • I Have Many Names: "Richard Gladwell" is just an identity he's appropriated to maintain his cover.
  • Improbable Weapon User: His signature weapon is some kind of hollow baton with a lethally sharp spike shooting out of it.
  • Kill It with Fire: He charbroils one councilman in an oil barrel by pouring gasoline all over it and setting it alight.
  • Scary Black Man: Downplayed. His manner is soft-spoken, almost passive. Only when in action does he really seem dangerous.

     Reginald Payne

Played By: David O Hara

A former comrade of Alfred from his days in the military.

  • Affably Evil: He's only working for the Board because he needs the money, and even then he tries to convince them not to harm Bruce any further.
  • The Alcoholic: He outright admits that drink ruined him.
  • Apologetic Attacker: He apologizes to Alfred right before stabbing him.
  • Beard of Sorrow: It turns out it's Beard of Evil after he stabs Alfred. And even more once we find out he was hired to do it by the board of directors of Wayne Enterprises.
  • Combat Pragmatist: Tells Bruce to fight with everything he can find in his environment instead of just boxing.
  • Cool Old Guy: He seems to be this, sparring with Bruce and telling fun war stories. Even after he is revealed to be a backstabbing bugger, he is personable.
  • Disney Villain Death: Selina pushes him out of a window to prevent him from reporting back to his employers.
  • Driven to Villainy: After leaving the army, his life became a mess, so he had to work as a mook for Wayne Enterprises just to survive.
  • Evil Brit: Has a deep Scottish accent.
  • Evil Former Friend: Towards Alfred.
  • Shell-Shocked Veteran: He's haunted by his past actions, claiming that he sees the faces of those he's killed.
  • Too Dumb to Live: Turns out that turning your back on children you've threatened while over a window was not a good idea.
  • Underestimating Badassery: Thinks little of Bruce and Selina and says that they'll never be strong enough to survive in Gotham. He is proven dead wrong when Selina kills him.
  • Violent Glaswegian: Downplayed. His training of Bruce is quite intense and he does stab Alfred, but in his reappearance, he doesn't do anything violent towards Bruce and Selina, either due to personal morals or being exhausted without his "medicine".
  • Wouldn't Hurt a Child: Even when Selina drops his drugs over a ledge, Reggie doesn't physically attack Bruce and Selina. He does threaten to tell Bunderslaw on them, however, which would have probably gotten them killed.

     Tom the Knife
Played By: Tommy Flanagan

A criminal who kidnaps Bruce and Silver, demanding information about what Theo Galavan knows about the deaths of Thomas and Martha Wayne. Revealed to have been hired by Bruce and Selina to get the truth out of Silver.
  • Chewing the Scenery: Tommy Flanagan is clearly having fun in the role.
  • Evil Brit: Like Reggie, has a Scottish accent, albeit lighter. Subverted when it's revealed that he's working for Bruce and Selina.
  • Fingore: Likes to cut off fingers and tells Bruce and Silver that unless they like wearing mittens, they should start spilling the beans.
  • Good Scars, Evil Scars: Has a few, mostly at the mouth. They also belong to his actor.
  • Red Baron: Tom "the Knife".
  • Would Hurt a Child: Willing to kidnap Bruce and Silver and almost starts cutting off Silver's fingers before she gives up Malone. At one point, he asks Bruce if he thinks Tom won't hurt him because he's a kid, or because he's Bruce Wayne. He does slap Bruce around.
  • Violent Glaswegian: Slaps Bruce around and threatens to cut Silver's fingers off, although it was mostly play.
