     Reimu Puppet

000: Normal Reimu
001: Defense Reimu
002: Power Reimu
003: Extra Reimu

Extra Reimu appears in Shard Of Dreams

A puppet version of the Hakurei Shrine Maiden herself. Puppet Reimu is fairly balanced character who learns different types of moves and has a useful Void/Illusion Type, which leaves it with few weaknesses.

She can evolve into Defense Reimu, a very good tank with high HP, or Power Reimu, who trades her Void-Type for a Fighting-Type and gains high Focus Attack. Shard Of Dreams introduces Extra Reimu, who completely changes her type, becoming a Wind/Warped Type with high speed.

  • The Ace: The real Reimu naturally uses her as the Ace of her team.
  • Bare-Fisted Monk: Power Reimu is part Fighting-Type.
  • Blow You Away: Extra Reimu is Part Wind-Type, and learns a lot of Wind-based moves.
  • Discard and Draw: Power Reimu trades in her Void-Type for a Fighting-Type. Extra Reimu changes her type completely to Wind/Warped.
  • Jack of All Stats: Reimu's stats are generally balanced with no glaring weaknesses, making a nice pick for new players. Extra Reimu averts this, becoming a Glass Cannon.
  • Glass Cannon: Extra Reimu gets higher Focus attack and speed at the cost of her defenses.
  • Late Character Syndrome: If you didn't choose Reimu as your starter, you won't be able to find and raise one until Hakurei Mountain, a good 3/4ths into the game. By then, you'll only find Normal Reimu, who most likely at that stage will be way behind your team.
    • In Shard of Dreams, this is averted, as Normal Reimu is catchable in the grass near the pond at the front of the Hakurei Shrine, which is reachable the instant you get the Inflatable Boat. It's still the rarest encounter, though.
  • Master of Illusion: Normal, Defense, and Power Reimu are Half-Illusion Type.
  • Mighty Glacier: Power Reimu downplays this. She can hit very hard, but her 75 base speed isn't going to win her any speed contests.
  • Power of the Void: Normal and Defense Reimu have this as their Primary Type.
  • Reality Warper: Extra Reimu is Half Warped-Type.

     Marisa Puppet

004: Normal Marisa
005: Speed Marisa
006: Power Marisa
007: Extra Marisa

Extra Marisa appears in Shard Of Dreams

A puppet version of the kleptomaniac witch Marisa Kirisame. Puppet Marisa is Offensively oriented, with high speed than the other puppets, and a Light/Electric Type.

Normal Marisa can either evolve into Speed Marisa, a Light/Electric type who is insanely fast with high Spread Attack, or Power Marisa, who isn't quite as fast, but has far greater Focus Attack and becomes a Light/Dark Type. Shard of Dreams introduces Extra Marisa, who completely sheds her original type for a Warped/Nature type. Extra Marisa gains higher HP and Defenses, but her speed plummets.

  • The Ace: The real Marisa uses Puppet Marisa as her staple Puppet.
  • Casting a Shadow: Power Marisa is Part-Dark Type.
  • Discard and Draw: Power Marisa drops the Electric-Type for a Dark-Type. Extra Marisa trades in her Light/Electric Type to become Warped/Nature.
  • Fragile Speedster: Speed Marisa is very fast, and her Spread Attack is quite good, but will fall to a stiff breeze.
  • Glass Cannon: Sans her Extra form, this is what Marisa can do. Move fast and kill things, but the little witch can't take many hits.
  • Light 'em Up: Normal, Power, and Speed Marisa are primarily Light-Type.
  • Mighty Glacier: Extra Marisa drops her speed to become this compared to her other forms.
  • Shock and Awe: Normal and Speed Marisa are part-Electric Type.
  • Video Game Stealing: Like her real counterpart, Puppet Marisa is a kleptomaniac. One of her abilities even steals the opponents' item.
     Shingyoku Puppet

008: Normal Shingyoku
009: Assist Shingyoku
010: Defense Shingyoku
011: Extra Shingyoku

Extra Shingyoku appears in Shard Of Dreams

Puppet with the power of Shingyoku, the first ever boss Reimu fought in Highly Responsive To Players. If it finds a gate, it will protect it at all costs. It first exhibited power when the man, woman, and yin-yang orb came together. Normal Shingyoku is a Void-Type who is more Defensive. It can become either a Defense or Assist form whom are also Void Type. Its Assist form gains higher Spread stats while Defense Shingyoku focuses more on Focus stats. Extra Shingyoku becomes a Warped-Type with high HP and Spread attack.

  • Acquired Poison Immunity: If it has it's Antibody ability, it cannot be poisoned. With the Cleared Mind ability, its immune to the burn status instead.
