Humans
Suzumi Mikado
Voiced by: Haruhi Terada (JP), Catherine Gell (EN)
Gao's mother. She runs a aiki-jujutsu dojo out of the Mikados' house.
- Badass Normal: Knocks Doai, who was attacking everyone in a Disaster Force-induced rage at the time, off his flying core gadget and snaps him out of it with a slap. All without any Buddy Skill or Future Force.
- Also pins Ikazuchi to the ground when he jumps her thinking she is Gao.
- Horrible Judge of Character: Subverted. While she may seem dumb for bringing Ikazuchi into her home, knowing about his fights with Gao, she did manage to see some good in him, leading to the events that started his Redemption Arc.
- Hot-Blooded: Moreso than Gao, to the point that Gao and Hanako had to restrain her from picking a fight over nearly getting turned away by a customs officer for a missing passport.
- Mom Looks Like a Sister
- Put on a Bus: Went to America to teach martial arts.
- The Bus Came Back: Comes back home partway through 100.
- Stern Teacher: Takes Gao's martial arts training very seriously.
Takashi Mikado
Voiced by: Yoshihisa Harakada (JP), Byron Allen (EN)
Gao's father.
- Hidden Depths: Knows how to Buddyfight, but isn't especially good at it. He also has enough skill at aiki-jujutsu to keep up Gao's training while his wife is travelling.
- Reasonable Authority Figure: While he expects Gao to keep up with his training, he's not as strict as Suzumi.
Hanako Mikado
Voiced by: Suzuko Mimori (JP), Malia Ashley Kerr (EN)
Gao's younger sister.
- Big Brother Worship: She thinks Gao is the coolest person ever.
Hanae Juumonji
Gao's grandmother. Everyone loves her cooking.- Eyes Always Shut
- Miniature Senior Citizens: She's shorter than Hanako.
- Supreme Chef: Every character who has tried her cooking thus far has liked it.
Yota Mikado
Gao's late brother and a friend of Genma. He drew a comic for Gao, who was inspired by it and started calling himself the Mighty Sun Fighter based on it.- An Aesop: In-Universe. The message of his comics was that anyone can be awesome by being themselves and seizing the day.
- Posthumous Character: Died before the start of the story but the comics he made while alive were the basis for Gao calling himself the Mighty Sun Fighter and have influenced Genma as well.
- Shonen Hair: His hair is as spiky as Gao's and he inherited a hair color from each of his parents.
- Strong Family Resemblance: To the point where when the Future Force shows a Drum a vision of a grown up Gao, Drum mistakes him for Yota.
Commissioner Kisaragi
Zanya's father and the commissioner of the city's regular police force.- By-the-Book Cop: Knows he can't catch Rouga due to lack of evidence, so he decides to start his own investigation.
Monsters
Drum Bunker Dragon Father/Fang Slade Terrestrial XIII
Drum's father and chief of the Drum Clan. He sent Drum to the human world to better himself.- Asskicking Leads to Leadership: See One-Man Army for why.
- Big Eater: Visited Earth to sample its food and pretty much cleaned out the Mikados' kitchen during his stay.
- Large Ham: Both Drum and Gao find it intimidating.
- One-Man Army: Drum says that he brought down six kingdoms back when war was common in Dragon World.
- Strong Family Resemblance: Looks like an older and more battle-scarred version of Drum. Justified since Drum Bunker Dragons tend to be palette swaps of each other.
- Time Abyss: He's been around since before the Omni Lords sealed Yamigedo away and was actually a rival to Alliot, one of the Fifth Omni Cavalry Dragons, both of which happened before humanity even had civilization.
- You Are Not Ready: Basically what he tells Drum after the latter returns to Dragon World after the ABC Cup and does it again after Drum's trip to Dungeon World, though this time he notes that Drum's starting to get the point.
Papa Panda/Divine Sword Dragon, Saint Glory Sword Dragon
Chibi Panda's father. He originally can to Earth to bring Chibi Panda back to Dragon World, but was eventually convinced to let him stay. He has power over the seal that once contained Batzz.
- Beware the Silly Ones: Just like his son, he looks like a panda with a mustache. He's also the one who sealed Batzz.
- Conspicuous Trenchcoat: Identical to Chibi Panda's.
- Fantasy-Forbidding Father: Tries to get Chibi Panda to leave Batzz and return to Dragon World. He relents when he realizes that Chibi Panda has grown from the experience.
- Guardian Entity: He can reactivate the seal that once held Batzz and does so at Batzz's request.
