Main Enemies

    Chuck E. Cheese

Say cheese…

The cigar-smoking namesake of the restaurant and leader of the Pizza Time Players, it’s Charles Entertainment Cheese himself. He’s your first enemy of the game.

  • Ascended Extra: In the original game, he was a minor enemy compared to his modern day counterpart, as the original had no specific time period. Come Rebooted, which is explicitly in the 70’s, and he’s the primary Chuck E. Cheese.
  • Evil Laugh: His vocal glitches turn one of his usual laughs into a far more sinister one.
  • The Leader: Of the Pizza Time Players.
  • Mascot: To the Chuck E. Cheese brand, and the game itself.
  • You Dirty Rat!: He’s an animatronic rat actively trying to kill you.

    Jasper T. Jowls

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/561558e1_4847_4c99_99d1_0c8ade8feea0.png

The lovable banjo-player of the band, who could sometimes get on the boss’s nerves, and possibly yours as well.

  • Dogs Are Dumb: This is the original version of Jasper who wasn’t always the brightest.
  • Hell Is That Noise: He makes an odd static noises when he’s in front of you.
  • Restraining Bolt: The stage call forces Jasper to return to his portrait.

    Costume

A full-body walk-around suit of the restaurant’s titular rat. Who or what is inside it is a mystery.

  • Creepy Mascot Suit: He’s a mysterious costumed being who appears out of nowhere and stares at you constantly through the cameras, and helps the animatronics kill you.
  • Expy: To Freddy Fazbear from the original Five Nights at Freddy's. He’s the main mascot of the restaurant (or, at least, a version of him), and can only be slowed down from his path by looking at him on the cameras, with no way to force him backwards. Unlike Freddy, however, he can’t kill you.
  • Support Party Member: He doesn’t kill you directly. Instead, he’ll stand in front of the gate and forcefully keep it open, giving his fellow rat an open path to kill you.

    Mr. Munch

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ccf94e1f_8322_4e81_8dc2_f3c8bce1a092.jpeg

A purple character who’s not the sharpest tool n the shed. Though, as of recently, he’s probably been the strangest of the band…

  • Evil Sounds Deep: He has a very deep voice, especially compared to what he actually sounds like in his shows.
  • Eyeless Face: He loses his eyes when on the prowl in the cameras.
  • Took a Level in Badass: In the original, he would randomly move around the building only to appear in the hall for the gate to be shut on him. He still randomly moves in Rebooted, but with a twist: no amount of gate-holding will stop him, and you have to hunt him on the cameras and view him. While it might not seem bad with only five cameras, keep in mind this is on top of using the gate for Chuck E. and having to constantly look at Costume on said cameras, giving him an opportunity to move forward.

    Helen Henny

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/f9fef1eb_ba05_47a2_bd6b_e5fba6b8e716.png

A guest-star (and future full-time member) of the band, a kind soul who loves to cluck. At least, when she’s not trying to kill you.

    Pasqually

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/b69262af_edcc_447c_84eb_27ac1d552ed2.png

The chef who puts the “pizza” in the Pizza Time Players and plays the accordion, though he prefers his pizza.

  • Ascended Extra: Pasqually was an easter egg character in the original game. In Rebooted, he’s a primary enemy even if he doesn’t appear until Night 5.
  • Expy: His original incarnation was pretty much Golden Freddy from the Freddy’s series. He sometimes appeared in a picture on your wall, teleport into your office, and the jumpscare was a close-up of his face.
  • Mythology Gag: His jumpscare in Rebooted ends with an over-saturated close-up of his face, referencing his jumpscare from the original.
  • Restraining Bolt: When he starts twitching around, a simple playing of the Stage Call will stop him.

    Crusty the Cat

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/c3c780d9_5d45_4048_9ce1_d6a29afeb52e.png

One of the Pizza Time Players’ first members, who made it through few showtapes before being replaced by Mr. Munch. He hasn’t been doing so well since. You’ll tangle with him in the post-night minigame.

  • Expy: Of Plushtrap from Five Nights at Freddy's 4. He’s involved in a post-night minigame that lets you skip two hours of the night, and he’s stopped by flashing a light at him.
  • Weakened by the Light: The only way to keep him back is to flash your light at him.

Custom-Night Exclusive

    Modern Chuck E. Cheese

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/043ca0fa_89d5_4ca2_b8a8_43b3ee7f116f.jpeg

The version of Chuck E. Cheese from the “Avenger” era of the franchise, who is much younger and is the leader of Munch’s Make-Believe Band. Specifically, he is based off the era’s Studio C animatronic. He only appears in the Custom Night after beating Nightmare.

  • Demoted to Extra: He was the primary Chuck E. in the original game, with the 1977 version being a minor enemy in comparison. In Rebooted, 1977 Chuck E. is the main version, with Modern Chuck E. being demoted to a Custom Night-only character.
  • Elite Mook: He’s basically the same as the portrait Chuck E., but faster.
  • Mythology Gag: Modern Chuck E. Cheese was the primary version of Chuck E. featured in the original. He even has the original jumpscare noise and game over screen.
  • Non-Standard Game Over: The rest uses a remade version of the original game over screen. Modern Chuck E., however, uses said original game-over screen, even replacing the custom cursor with the standard computer mouse cursor like the original.

    The Bear

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/e0fffdc0_c2b3_4677_98fe_700c8a07f369.png

A withered bear animatronic with a melted and exposed endoskeleton face, who seems very, very familiar… He only appears in Custom Night after beating All Rats.

  • Facial Horror: His face is gone, and the endoskeleton underneath is partially melted.
  • Shout-Out: He is obviously based on Billy Bob Brockali, mascot of The Rock-afire Explosion, an animatronic show still around today that mainly performed at ShowBiz Pizza Place locations, all of which would later become Chuck E. Cheese locations starting in 1992. Billy Bob was, ironically, one of the few Rock-afire characters not to be converted into Chuck E. Cheese animatronics.
  • Weakened by the Light: The Bear slowly stands up throughout the night. In order to sit him back down, one must repeatedly flash him with the light.
  • You Don't Look Like You: Aside from his obvious lack of a face, his overalls are blue and purple compared to his inspiration’s red and yellow. This may be due to Aaron Fechter’s eagerness to take action against those he believes infringe the copyright of The Rock-afire Explosion.

    Munch Jr.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/3b99eac7_28bb_447c_84e8_b8d1eb6db855.png

A small prop character ambiguously related to Mr. Munch, who was rarely ever featured due to being a victim of vandalism, and is currently no longer at any Chuck E. Cheese location. He only appears in Custom Night after beating The Originals.

  • Adaptational Badass: The real Munch Jr. was a simple prop character who moved up and down. Now, he is mobile and can disable your cameras.
  • Junior Counterpart: He is a smaller version of Mr. Munch, even named Munch Jr.
  • Support Party Member: He randomly appears in the office, and he’s in there when you open the camera, he’ll then be on top of the monitor and disable your cameras, making dealing with Mr. Munch impossible.

    Dolli Dimples

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/b398c926_25ef_42f7_87f4_8810bdc7220f.png

A smooth-jazz playing hippo who was another one of the Pizza Time Players’ many guest stars. She only appears in Custom Night after beating Double Trouble.

  • Angry, Angry Hippos: She might not attack you directly, but she does attempt to bring you closer to your death.
  • Support Party Member: You must hold the CRTL key to keep her at bay. Otherwise, she’ll disable the stage call and prevent you from dealing with Jasper, Helen, or Pasqually.
