Introduced in Part One

    Adelie Pritchard

Adelie "Addy" Pritchard

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/adelie_part_1.png
Click to see her in Part 2 (SPOILER WARNING)
Adelie is Izzy's twin sister. The two are virtually identical, although Addy keeps her hair its natural blonde and wears it long. She doesn't seem to have been touched by the trauma of her youth quite as badly as Izzy, although she's a functional alcoholic so the signs are definitely there. She's a successful novelist, is married to Bella, and gave birth to Max.

  • Abusive Parents: Izzy and Adelie's mother was a drug addict and violently insane, and made their lives a living hell. Reflecting on their mother brings back flashbacks of death and horror, and it's implied that Addy's alcoholism is driven by her childhood trauma.
  • The Alcoholic: Adelie is rarely seen without a wine glass in her hand and is often very drunk. This, much like Izzy's depressive fugues, is a sign of her PTSD over her mother's abuse.
  • Alcoholic Parent: Downplayed since she's never seen drunk around Max, but Addy clearly isn't shy about openly drinking in front of her son. However, it's always played for comedic effect if only because Max doesn't have a problem with her alcoholism.
  • Alien Abduction: As a teen, Addy loved alien abduction stories in the tabloids she shoplifted, and hoped that they would come and take her and Izzy away from their mother.
Adelie: *as she's comforting Izzy* It's okay... It'll all be okay, Izzy. 'Cause someday...someday, the aliens are gonna come. *tears start to form in her eyes* They'll melt the rooftop like plastic and take us away on a tractor beam. And there won't be any reason left to cry.
  • Breaking the Cycle of Bad Parenting: She might not be the best parent given her alcoholism, but she's still miles better than her own mother who is depicted in flashbacks as having been incredibly abusive and outright tried to murder both her and Izzy.
  • Broken Pedestal: Addy once considered Florida Man to be the only adult who cared about her and her sister and developed a genuine bond with him over the course of the flashbacks. Her image of him as this shatters when she learned that he was the one who introduced their mother to drugs. It's currently unknown how she feels about him in the present.
  • Brutal Honesty: In "Critique," a fellow writer seeks advice from Adelie on how to improve his storytelling. After he gives her his manuscript to read, she tells him that his story is "just self-insert Wish-Fulfillment" and, with as little tact as possible, that people want to read about "interesting people, not you [him]."
  • Closet Key: She was apparently this for Bella, who of course became her wife. It's something that Addy is quite proud of.
Bella: Daddy, you're not still mad at Adelie are you?
Bella's Dad: She turned you gay!
    Bella: No she didn't.
    Adelie: Yes I did.
  • Dark and Troubled Past: Her mother was a psychotic drug addict who was violently abusive toward her and her twin sister Izzy when they were younger. It all came to a point when their mother decided to kill them by driving their car off the pier and into the ocean, leaving the two twin sisters to drown. Then, after they were saved, their Parental Substitute Florida Man reveals that he was responsible for turning their mom into an addict. It's clear that her terrible childhood still affects her to this day, but is much more stable and (slightly) more functional than Izzy.
  • Deadpan Snarker: A trait she shares with her sister; Addy is always quick to give sardonic quips to anyone who annoys her.
  • Functional Addict: She's an alcoholic but somehow is able to not let that negatively affect her family or ability as a writer.
  • Happily Married: Addy and Bella have a very stable, loving and quite sexually active marriage despite the former's alcoholism.
  • Hero of Another Story: "Friend Circle" reveals that Adelie has her own group of True Companions outside of her sister and her friends. The group itself also implies that they too go on wacky misadventures as well.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: While not as hedonistic and addled like Izzy, as well as being marginally more mature and responsible, Adelie is just as acerbic, brusque and lustful as her twin sister and is an incorrigible drunk to boot. However, she is a good person at heart. She's still very much in love with her wife, tries to do good by her son (at least better than her mother ever was) and still sticks by Izzy no matter what happens.
  • Motherly Side Plait: When Adelie shows up in "Kitchen Table," she now wears a ponytail drapped over her right shoulder.
  • Son of a Whore: Adelie and Izzy are implied to be the result of their mother prostituting herself for drug money.
  • Trapped in a Sinking Car: Her mother tried to kill both her and Izzy by driving her car off the pier and leaving them to drown when she escaped. Luckily, they were saved thanks to the combined efforts of Florida Man and Red Snapper's mother.

    Bella Pritchard
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/bella_6.png
Bella is Adelie's wife and Max's other mom; interestingly, it was her genetic material that was used to "inseminate" Addy. She's kind, supportive, and a complete sweetheart, which leads people to wonder what led to her and Addy getting together. She's a homemaker, and does her best to keep a handle on Max and be supportive of Addy.

    Kirsty Pritchard

Kirsty "Izzy-X" Pritchard-Lockheart

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/kirsty_part_2.png
Kirsty is the result of a cloning experiment by Doctor Bald. Originally called "Izzy-X", she was initially created to help fund the doctor's experiments through making her pretend to be the real Izzy and give interviews, but was soon kidnapped by Venus to try to ruin Izzy's life. Both schemes were foiled and Izzy and Adelie essentially adopted the clone as their sister. She has a ditzy sweetness that sharply contrasts Izzy and Adelie's acerbic tendencies, and is much more innocent and inhibited than them. Married to Lucian, a chemist working under Noah in Key Manati's science division.

For tropes about her outside Ennui GO!, check out the character trope page for Rainbow Skies Forever here.
  • Artificial Human: She was "born" from a cloning vat in Doctor Bald's lab. That said, she doesn't have anything that sets her completely apart from regular humans, so she's a more downplayed example.
  • Babies Ever After: She's shown to be pregnant during Izzy's wedding. In Part 2, she had given birth to a daughter, Jenny.
  • The Bus Came Back: She and Lucian make a brief appearance in "Queue," revealing their baby daughter Jenny.
  • Covert Pervert: As Lucian learns, when Kirsty said she only wanted to have sex after she got married, she meant that literally. And during a reception.
  • The Ditz: She may have inherited Izzy and Addy's looks, but not their intelligence and wit.
  • Love at First Sight: In "Nega," Kirsty instantly develops a crush on one of Izzy's newest scientists, Lucian. They soon start dating, get engaged and eventually get married.
  • Gosh Dang It to Heck!: She's possibly the only character in the comic who doesn't have a potty mouth. Even when having sex and in the throes of passion, she never swears.
  • Nice Girl: She's generally sweet, bubbly and always optimistic, virtually the opposite to both Izzy and Adelie.
  • Supernaturally Young Parent: While it's not directly addressed, she was less than 10 years old by the time her daughter was born (Max was already in school when she was created and had entered his first year of high school by the time of his cousin's birth).
  • Token Wholesome: She's more wholesome than even resident nice girls Tanya, Sarah and Bella because even they indulge in the same sexy, drug-fueled antics as the rest of the cast. To wit, she's strictly monogamous, completely straight, refuses to have sex before marriage, doesn't swear and leads an active, healthy, presumably drug-free and alcohol-free lifestyle. However, after her wedding it's revealed that she carries Izzy and Adelie's constant horniness when she wishes to have sex with her husband Lucian... in the middle of their reception.
Lucian: So when you said you wanted to wait until after we're married, you meant RIGHT after.
Kirsty: Well... *popping off the top of her wedding dress, showing her breasts and giving a lecherous smile* I AM still Izzy's clone after all.
  • White Sheep: Hilariously enough, Kirsty is this to both Izzy and Adelie. She's what they most likely would have been without their Dark and Troubled Past.

    Lucian

Lucian Lockheart

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/lucian_0.png
Kirsty's husband and a chemist who works at Key Manati's science division.

For tropes about him outside Ennui GO!, check out the character trope page for Rainbow Skies Forever here.
  • The Bus Came Back: He and Kirsty make a brief appearance in "Queue," revealing their baby daughter Jenny.
  • Nice Guy: He is an unassuming, mild-mannered and kindly scientist, which is a far cry from how he was in Doctor Glasgow's earlier comic Rainbow Skies Forever.
  • Token Wholesome: Shares this role with Kirsty. He's a lot more inhibited than the other male characters in the comic. He is never shown displaying any attraction toward (let alone having sex with) anyone besides Kirsty, and follows her rule of not having sex before marriage with zero complaints. That said, he is pleasantly surprised when Kirsty wants to finally do him right after their wedding....while the reception is still going on.

    Colin
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/colin_49.png
An acquaintance of Izzy and owner of the comic book shop she frequents.
  • The Bus Came Back: After not appearing for a long while, he returns to the comic as a guest of Izzy, Darcy and Tanya's wedding in "Tetrapods Reign Eternal."
  • Demoted to Extra: Originally more of a supporting character in the early strips, his appearances slowly diminished as it went on.
  • Straight Man: He's a chill, normal fellow who deals with the insanity of his favorite costumer with a great amount of patience and nonchalance.
  • Put on a Bus: He was a supporting character in the first two volumes, but appeared less and less once Izzy and the rest of the cast moved to Key Manati before just disappearing entirely, until the end of volume six, where he was among the guests for Izzy's wedding.

    Jerry
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/rsz_jerry2.png
A mysterious homeless, and faceless, man Izzy finds on the street one day and decides to invite to her building.

    Smegli
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/smegli.png
A strange, unsettling hermit who lived in a superstore before being discovered by Izzy and her gang, who were trapped in said superstore.

  • Creepy Good: He's creepy as all hell but he's a good guy, just someone who suffered quite a bit at the hands of the strip's equivalent of Wal-Mart. He refuses to mooch off of Izzy despite her obscene wealth. He even gets his Big Damn Heroes moment saving everyone from Venus's revenge.
  • Expy: He's clearly meant to be one of Gollum, specifically his good side Smeagol.
  • Hidden Depths: Despite his appearance and living habits, along with his kindness and heroism, "Star Quality" reveals that he is quite talented at karaoke.
Hashim: [to Renee] Then there's guys like Smegli. The lil' dude's got the voice of Michael Jackson and the stage presence of Freddie Mercury. Shame he's committed to living off of scavenging for nutrients in Izzy's crawl space.
  • Meaningful Name: His name is a pun on the word "smegma" and his chin resembles a scrotum.
  • Minion with an F in Evil: Smegli has no evil bone in his body, but he does occasionally help Doctor Bald for whatever experiment he ends up doing.
  • Non-Residential Residence: He lived in a superstore for an unknown amount time before Izzy and her friends found themselves stranded in that particular store.
  • Walking Shirtless Scene: Subverted; after he moves in with Izzy, he always wears unbuttoned Hawaiian shirts, but his scrawny body and appearance removed the fanservice aspect.

    Sergio
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/sergio_3.png
A former Cuban freedom fighter who currently works under Izzy.

    Axil
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/rsz_axil.png
He is an alien from another galaxy who was summoned by Len, so she could make a half-human, half-alien hybrid. He is prone to speaking quite loudly and is generally new to Earth customs.

  • Bizarre Alien Reproduction: Axil can sprout tentacles from his chest. They're apparently a part of his species' form of reproduction as he tells Len that she doesn't have "THE QUIVERING GELATINOUS BROOD SACS NESSACARY FOR SUCH AS TASK" in one comic.
  • Expy: Of Aximili-Esgarrouth-Isthil ("Ax") of Animorphs, including the stalk eyes and general ignorance of human society (although he has a mouth and no equine lower body or scythe-tail).
  • Hugh Mann: His "human disguise" consists of a clown wig, a pair of Groucho glasses, and a job at Arby's. He does eventually find work at Tanya's cafe in Key Manati, where he still carries this disguise.
  • Innocent Aliens: He's generally a nice, harmless fellow who wants to explore more of our world.
  • Little Green Men: Unlike other examples, he's neither short nor under-endowed (ahem).
  • No Indoor Voice: He always speaks on a high volume.

    Xoltan
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/rsz_xoltan.png
Xoltan is Hashim's EEEEEVIL twin brother. However, "evil" might be too strong a word for him... He's currently dating Sybil.

    Sybil
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/rsz_1rsz_sybil2.png
Sybil is a red-headed woman whose key personality trait seems to be taking great joy in being as grating and irritating as possible. She's currently dating Xoltan.

  • Foil: She's one to Sarah. Sarah is a sweet, bubbly woman who's wants to make people happy while Sybil is brash, smug and loves making others miserable. In one comic, the two meet and start clashing but it soon evolves into a session of hate sex between them.
  • Jerkass: She's generally rude, obnoxious and blunt around others.
  • Poke the Poodle: Her entire life goal seems to be making people as uncomfortable or miserable as humanly possible.
  • Unaffected by Spice: She comes into Hashim's father's restaurant and asks for the spiciest meal they have. Hashim starts to reach for the bottle of "white people hot" sauce but is manhandled by Sybil. Thus:
Hashim: Here. I made it as spicy as I possibly could. And we don't do refunds.
Sybil: Is that so? [takes a bite] It's delicious. Is this the spiciest you could do? Useless.
    Hashim: まさか!note
  • Unholy Matrimony: Downplayed as they aren't really evil, but her and Xoltan form this kind of coupling. When both learn that they each love to Poke the Poodle during their first date, they instantly hit it off.
  • Why Do You Keep Changing Jobs?: She originally shows up midway through the Key Manati arc, and is in a new job every time she's seen, because she keeps getting fired for telling nightmarish company secrets and generally being toxic and obnoxious.
Sybil: I work retail jobs where I habitually underperform. I like to push the envelope to see how unhelpful I can be before I get fired.
Xoltan: Wow. You make the world so much worse, so casually!

    Smuckles
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/rsz_1smuckles.png
Roll every negative stereotype about "social justice warriors" into one character, and you get Smuckles.

    Officer Espinosa
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/officer_espinosa.png
A Ft. Vilese police officer who worked with Venus. She attempted to get Izzy to sign a court summons, but upon experiencing the craziness that is her life (and failing to get the summons signed), she quits. Eventually, she moves to Key Manati and joins their police force.

  • Bi-Wildered: Espinosa has sex with Adelie (who was really Izzy) at some point and it causes her to question her sexuality, since she always considered herself straight. She has a heart-to-heart with Darcy about it, who isn't exactly helpful in giving a clear answer to her questions (see Darcy's folder for Übermensch). Later on, she has sex with Hiro and has a threesome between a man and a woman, so it seems she's now gotten a handle on her sexuality at least.
  • By-the-Book Cop: She tries to be a good officer and play by the rules. Too bad the world she lives in makes it difficult for her.
  • Deadpan Snarker: Having a dry wit is what keeps her sane in her line of work.
  • Dirty Cop: Played for humor in her two instances of unethical behavior. In "R and R," she rewards Hiro for his work as a sketch artist by taking him out to dinner and then having sex with him. Later, in "Speeding" she accepts a threesome as a bribe to let a speeding ticket go, reasoning that no future bribe offer would ever compare.
  • Fair Cop: She has received a fair amount of attention toward people attracted to her.
  • Freudian Slip: When interrogating the ringmaster's sister during the "Murder at the Big Top Funhouse" arc, Espinosa unintentionally reveals she's got issues with her family...
Espinosa: But families fight sometimes. Sometimes things are said in the heat of the moment. "Why don't you dress more pretty?" "Police work isn't appropiate for a lady." "You'll never find a husband looking like that." That sorta thing.
Ringmaster's Sister: Are we talking about my family or yours?
  • The Lad-ette: Espinosa is gruff, a bit of a gym nut, swears a lot, wears her hair short and prefers wearing more masculine clothing.

    Crow Guy
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/rsz_crowguy.png
Introduced as part of Venus' crew, Crow Guy is a strangely two-dimensional guy with a bird-like head.

  • Catchphrase: He refers to everyone as "luv."
  • Evil Brit: His dialogue is loaded with British colloquialisms, and he comes into the comic as part of the muscle working for Venus.
  • Exactly What It Says on the Tin: He's a guy who is a crow.
  • Good Smoking, Evil Smoking: He is never seen without a cigarette in his beak.
  • Heel–Face Turn: After Venus' attempt to thwart Izzy is foiled, he eventually comes to Key Manati and pairs up with Officer Espinosa as the Beach Cops.
  • Nonstandard Character Design: He sticks out like a sore thumb among the rest of the cast by looking like a 2D cartoon bird instead of a stylized human.

    Skyler
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/skyler_part_1.png
Click to see him in Part 2 (SPOILER WARNING)
A classmate of Max and his friends and a shit-talking punk brat. He and Max hate each other with equal venom.

  • Ascended Extra: Slighty downplayed; he was more of a minor character in Part 1, but his role increases slightly in Part 2 as Max and co. take over as main characters.
  • Hate Sink: His obnoxious, sleazy attitude and use of homophobic insults makes him easily one of the most hateful characters in the entire comic.
  • Hypocrite: He frequently hits Max with homophobic slurs, but in part 1, he had prominent eyelashes, very feminine lips, earrings, and dressed in a metrosexual style, meaning anyone not in the know could think he was gay just based on appearance.
  • Politically Incorrect Villain: He's a homophobic bully, although it hasn't been revealed if it's genuinely hate of LGBT people or just his default tactic to try to get under Max's skin.
  • Spoiled Brat: Per the cast page, Skyler comes from a well-to-do family and has never lacked for anything, which has fed into his obnoxious personality.
  • Trumplica: He was already an obnoxious, bigoted and wealthy brat, but the "Ennui GO! to the Polls" arc has him running for sophomore representive in the student council, showing he's not above viciously insulting his opponents and is mainly running to use his powers to make all the "weird little freaks" lives a living hell.

    Andromeda
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/andromeda_part_2.png
Click to see her in Part 1
Vanitas' ex-girlfriend, who often took part in a roleplaying scenario where he regularly kidnapped her.
  • Ambiguously Bi: She tells Vanitas that she did really like him before coming out to him, making it uncertain whether she really is a lesbian or maybe bisexual. However, in "Complicated," she does admit that she never really felt the need to talk about boys (especially him) unlike her friends and their boyfriends, skewing her closer to being the former.
  • Amicable Exes: After their harsh break-up, and talking things out in the janitor's closet, her and Vanitas end up becoming stronger friends, even hanging out together and flirt with girls.
  • Ascended Extra: Originally a minor character, her role increases substantially in part 2.
  • Closet Key: Apparently watching and being turned on by Rachel Weisz in Black Widow (2021) made her realize she was gay. She's not exactly proud of it, though.
Andromeda: You try having a major gay epiphany in the middle of mediocre assembly-line corporate schlock.
  • Coming-Out Story: "Closet" reveals that the real reason she broke up with Vanitas was because she realized she likes girls.
  • Damsel in Distress: She played the role of "princess" in her and Vanitas' little roleplay, with a third party playing the "hero" trying to rescue her from the latter.
  • Jerkass: As she gains more prominence in Part 2, it's shown that she's really not pleasant to be around, especially after she breaks up with Vanitas. However, in "Complicated," it's revealed that her attitude was a Jerkass Façade as she was panicking over her embarrassing "gay epiphany."
  • Lady Swears-a-Lot: In Part 2; she almost rivals Max in having a potty mouth.
  • Last Het Romance: Her and Vanitas' relationship retroactively becomes this for her, once she comes out to him.
  • Only Sane Man: She's often bewildered or annoyed by the craziness around her.
Andromeda: Do you guys deal with this sort of shit every day? How do you live like this?
  • Satellite Love Interest: In Part 1, she was more-or-less a background character solely defined by being Vanitas' girlfriend. Once she reappears in Part 2 and breaks up with Vanitas, she develops more of a personality.
  • Walking Spoiler: It's hard to talk about her without spoiling her breaking up with Vanitas and her eventual coming out.

    Basil and Rosemary
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/basil_89.png
Basil
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/rosemary_9.png
Rosemary
A pair of homeschooled kids who entered public school for the first time; Basil is a well-mannered, bespectacled boy who is studious and has a robust vocabulary and his sister Rosemary is a young girl who likes biting her fingers.
  • Antiquated Linguistics: Basil speaks like a youth from the early 20th century, slang and all.
  • Ascended Extra: At least in Basil's case; he goes from a minor character in part 1 to more of a supporting player in part 2.
  • Beautiful All Along: "Hum-Dinger" reveals that Basil has bright, beautiful blue eyes when he takes his glasses off. This helps attracts Callie to him.
  • Creepy Child: According to Max, Basil and Rosemary are creepy due to them being homeschooled. Doesn't help that Basil is prone to be unnervingly polite and speaks like a boy from the early 1900s, Rosemary never speaking and always gnawing at her finger and both being prone to overreact whenever they hear or see something that unnerves them (like swearing or touching frogs).
  • Nerd Glasses: Basil wears a pair of coke-bottle glasses, befitting his nerdy appearance and demeanor.
  • Nice Guy: Creepy Child demeanor aside, Basil is shown to be a friendly, cheerful and helpful fellow, which is part of the reason why Callie has a crush on him.
  • No Social Skills: As their introduction in "Homeschool" shows, they are both very socially stunted whenever they interact with their peers. Though, by Vol. 7, Basil has shown some improvement, like not freaking out when Callie swears.
  • Oblivious to Love: Basil is unaware that Callie has a major crush on him. Of course, once she finally confesses her feelings toward him, he's flattered but admits that he doesn't know her enough to fully reciprocate. That said, he does want to know her better and wouldn't mind being in a relationship with her.
  • Put on a Bus: While Basil becomes more-or-less a supporting character in Part 2, his sister Rosemary has yet to appear after their last appearance together in "Science Fair." Given that she's the younger sibling, she is presumably still attending middle school.

Introduced in Part Two

    Mr. Kamiyama
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/kamiyama.png
Described as the "Patriarch of Class 1-5," he is Max and friends' homeroom English teacher.

  • Badass Teacher: Through his introduction alone, he proves to be quite a tough customer. The man looks and acts more like a Yakuza enforcer than a teacher, and shows little to no patience or fear toward anyone who disrupts his class, even someone like Max Pritchard.
Mr. Kamiyama: (after kicking Max's desk to the side) Oi, oi... This is MY turf. And this classroom is MY family. And on MY turf, we don't allow ANYONE to disrespect the family.
    Max: Yeah? Or what?
Mr. Kamiyama: Or they get taught a lesson.
    Max: What kinda lesson?
Mr. Kamiyama: English. Open your textbooks to page 36.
  • Boss Subtitles: Gets some in his introduction, appropriately styled after those from the Yakuza series.
    PATRIARCH OF CLASS 1-5
    MR. KAMIYAMA
    A KEY MANATI HIGH SUBSIDIARY
  • Cool Shades: All a part of his tough-guy image.
  • Rugged Scar: Has a long, thin slash across the left side of his mouth, just to show how badass he looks.

    Jericho and Cyrus
A pair of bullies Max and co. constantly run into at their high school.

Jericho

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/jericho_0.png
The crescent moon-shaped headed bully who terrorizes everyone at school and picks Max as his newest target.

  • Always a Bigger Fish: In "Little Fish," Jericho makes Max learn this trope the hard way on his first day of high school, when the latter decides to pick a fight against him but gets his butt easily handed to him in turn.
Jericho: I can clearly tell you were the biggest fish in whatever pond you came from. But middle school is over. Welcome to high school, bitch! *punches Max again, knocking him out.
  • Barbaric Bully: When giving you wedgies, threatening you or breaking your stuff isn't sufficient in making you fear him, then he'll gladly just beat the crap out of you, brutally as Max finds out.
  • The Bully: Obviously, and takes great pleasure in being one. He rules this school through his brute strength, penchant for violence and threatening demeanor.
  • Bully Turned Buddy: Downplayed, but in his later appearances he's seen assisting Max more often than he's seen harassing him.
  • No-Sell: In "Noble," Max punches him in the face, intending to knock him down. Instead, Jericho just smiles and grabs his fist.
    Max: (shocked) Oh fuck.

Cyrus

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/cyrus_5.png
Jericho's toadie with a star-shaped afro.

    Callie
See her entry in the "Fishgirls" section of the Characters page.

    Farva
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/farva.png
A severely depressed yet talented young artist
  • The Eeyore: Farva has severely low self-esteem and always cynical. As a result, she rarely does much art in her manga class outside of slouching and moping.

    Eshi-San
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/eshi_san.png
President of the school's anime and manga club and all-around weeaboo.
  • Fat Bastard: He's an arrogant, prentenious and portly brat who believes himself to be a supremely talented mangaka (except he's clearly not as talented as he thinks he is). Readers in the comment section even nicknamed him "Weeaboo Cartman."
  • Kick the Dog: He feeds into Farva's low self-esteem and tries to sabotage her magazine entry because he believes he should get the spot instead, even though he didn't even bother to submit anything.
  • Occidental Otaku: He's a self-important manga fanboy who, like Zachary before him, also peppers his speech with random Japanese phrases. Heck, he even calls himself "Eshi-San" (which just roughly means "Mr. Artist")
  • Only Six Faces: His "original characters" are really just multiple copies of the same, simplistic animesque girl only with different hairstyles.
  • Small Name, Big Ego: His actual talent as an artist is not as impressive as his large ego.

    Hui-Ying
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/hui_ying.png
The student council president of Key Manati High School. Despite her seemingly studious and helpful demeanor, she is very shady and power-hungry.
  • Student Council President: She's currently the president of the student council and is eying to give it far more power within the school.
  • Teacher's Pet: She's always around Principal Len, always defers to her judgement and often gives her details about what goes in the school. Though, in her case, she clearly has ulterior motives for why she's trying to earn Len's favor.

    Kavya
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/screenshot_2023_11_08_at_45143pm.png

A Juggalo who ends up befriending Max and his gang after they help defend her in Clown Court.

  • Clear My Name: In her introductory arc, she ends up framed for throwing a rock in a pie at a fellow clown. Clearing her name becomes the focus of the arc from that point onward.
  • Distracted by the Sexy: Apparently suffers from a bad case of this — she noticeably looks nervous when Cyrus asks if she can keep herself from giving free drugs to "hot stoner chicks" who offer her sex, and she can't get changed in the locker room with the other girls at school because "shit's a rackcident waiting to happen".
  • Ship Tease: It's implied that her feelings towards her best friend Lilooly are more than just platonic.
