The franchises represented on this character sheet have characters who make up the first half of the game's story. These eleven franchises are The Sword in the Stone, Mickey and Friends, DuckTales (1987), Toy Story, Cinderella, Peter Pan, Pirates of the Caribbean, Monsters, Inc., WALL•E, Tangled, and Sleeping Beauty.
The Sword in the Stone

Merlin is a powerful wizard who helped a boy named Arthur become King of England. When Maleficent curses the Kingdom, Merlin comes in to help the player lift the curse and restore the Kingdom's magic.
Merlin was initially not one of the game's collectible characters, but he was added as one in version 1.9.0 on March 8, 2017. Unlike the other characters in the game, he does not roam around the park or does any activities to earn stuff for the player. Instead, he works from his workshop (added in version 2.0.0 on April 12, 2017) to cast spells that will help the player, including creating Elixirs that the player could use to purchase attractions, tokens, and Enchanted Chests. In addition, unlike most of the other characters, he only goes up to level two.
Mickey and Friends
Mickey Mouse is the famous face of Disney. He is the first character that players get in the game. He sets out to bring back his friends and save the Kingdom.
Minnie Mouse is Mickey's beloved girlfriend.
Goofy is a close friend of Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck who is incredibly clumsy. He is the second character that players get in the game.
- Big Eater: "My Belly Is My Buddy" reveals that he eats a sandwich an hour.
- Bizarre Taste in Food: His taste in sandwiches includes such delicious combinations as tuna, popcorn, and blue cheese, among others.
Daisy Duck is the fashion-savvy girlfriend of Donald Duck.
Donald Duck is a close friend of Mickey Mouse and Goofy who has a famously bad temper.
Pete is the troublemaking arch-nemesis of Mickey Mouse. He is the Arc Villain of Toontown, the first land unlocked in the game.
- Arc Villain: He's the first "boss" character in the game, having set up shop in Toontown and blocking off Tomorrowland until Mickey, Goofy and Pluto drive him away.
- Mythology Gag: His appearance in the game as well as his RV are based on his appearance in A Goofy Movie.
- Starter Villain: He's the first real boss in the game, crashing into the kingdom during the Toontown arc. He's defeated fairly early on and can be officially welcomed into the park a few quests later.
Chip is a cunning and mischievous chipmunk who is usually seen with his partner Dale. The more logical of the duo, he is identifiable by his black "chocolate chip" nose, single tooth, and darker brown fur.

DuckTales (1987)
Scrooge McDuck is the richest duck in the world. He made his vast wealth by being "tougher than the toughies, and smarter than the smarties", and he made it all square. He is Donald Duck's uncle, and great-uncle of triplets Huey, Dewey, and Louie.
Huey Duck is one of Donald's nephews and Scrooge's great-nephews. He wears red to distinguish himself from his identical brothers Dewey and Louie.
Dewey Duck is one of Donald's nephews and Scrooge's great-nephews. He wears blue to distinguish himself from his identical brothers Huey and Louie.
Louie Duck is one of Donald's nephews and Scrooge's great-nephews. He wears green to distinguish himself from his identical brothers Huey and Dewey.
Webby Vanderquack is the granddaughter of Bentina Beakley, Scrooge McDuck's housekeeper. Scrooge considers her his honorary great-niece.
Toy Story

Evil Emperor Zurg is a space villain toy who is the sworn enemy of the Galactic Alliance and Buzz Lightyear's archenemy. He is the Big Bad of Tomorrowland, the second land unlocked in the game.
- Arc Villain: Serves as the overall big bad for the Tomorrowland Arc, as well as for the Toy Story arc that doesn't involve Frontierland.
- Big Bad: The second one in the game.
- Purple Is Powerful: A "powerful" villain figure with a purple body.
Jessie the Yodeling Cowgirl is a pull-string cowgirl doll based on the co-star of a 1950s TV show called Woody's Roundup.
Sheriff Woody Pride is a pull-string cowboy doll based on the lead character of a 1950s TV show called Woody's Roundup. He is the leader of a group of toys owned by a boy named Andy Davis.
- Hollywood Tone-Deaf: According to the quest "Without Her Flock", his singing is bad enough to cause booing from the peanut gallery. Bo Peep says he's improving, but then tells herself that "there's nothing wrong with a little exaggeration every once in a while".
Buzz Lightyear is a space ranger toy who is Woody's best friend.
Bo Peep is a porcelain doll who is Woody's girlfriend.
Hamm is a plastic pink piggy bank with a witty sense of humor.
Sarge is a green plastic soldier toy who commands a troop of other similar plastic soldier toys.
Rex is a dinosaur toy who has a huge inferiority complex.

Bullseye is Woody's horse who has the personality of a dog.

Cinderella
Cinderella is a kind woman who was abused by her stepmother until a Fairy Godmother made her dreams come true. She fell in love with a charming prince after meeting him at a royal ball.
Cinderella was separated from her love when Maleficent cursed the Kingdom, but they would reunite soon after.
- Hair of Gold, Heart of Gold: Not even the casual cruelty her stepmother and stepsisters treated her with, let alone her currently being married to a prince, is enough to put an end to her kind and humble ways.
Prince Charming is the prince of the Kingdom and the love of Cinderella's life.
- Prince Charming: The Prince Charming of Disney.
A magical fairy godmother who came to Cinderella's need. She is kind, motherly, and a bit absent-minded.
- Fairy Godmother: She is the one who appears on the trope page's image, after all.
One of Cinderella's evil stepsisters.
The other one of Cinderella's evil stepsisters.
- Dreadful Musician: She thinks she's a great singer, but her dialogue in the game and the rough-looking musical notes that appear when she sings show how terrible she truly is.

Star Wars
Star Wars is unique, as it contains both permanent characters and event characters. The event-exclusive Star Wars characters can be found in Part 4 of the Event Characters.A protocol droid built by Anakin Skywalker who is fluent in over 6 million different languages. He's often seen in the company of fellow droid, R2-D2.
An R2 droid with a spunky, adventurous attitude and a pivotal factor in many historical events. He's often seen in the company of fellow droid, C-3PO.
Peter Pan
Peter Pan is a boy from Never Land who can fly, never grows up, and is the adventurous leader of the Lost Boys.
Wendy Darling is an imaginative young girl from London who is quite mature and maternal for her age. She and her brothers met Peter Pan one faithful night and with faith, trust, and a little bit of pixie dust, they flew off to Never Land.
Tinker Bell is a tinker fairy from Pixie Hollow who is the best friend and sidekick of Peter Pan. After noticing the Kingdom's curse, she is determined to fix things however she can.
She is unlocked when the player claims their first calendar streak reward on Day 3.
- Adaptation Distillation: While she isn't voiced in the game, much like in her original film, she is based on her Disney Fairies counterpart, including having her talk (through written dialogue). As a result, she does not interact with the other Peter Pan characters, who were all added to the game later.
The youngest of the Darling siblings. He carries around a stuffed bear, simply named "Bear".
The middle child of the Darling siblings. He's in intelligent boy with a hunger for adventure.
Captain Hook is the captain of a pirate crew aboard the Jolly Roger and the archenemy of Peter Pan.
Pirates of the Caribbean
The daughter of Governor Weatherby Swann and wife of Will Turner, she is an adventurous young woman who often dreamed of meeting a pirate since she was little.
The enigmatic and unorthodox captain of the Black Pearl. Despite his rather aloof nature, he's one of the most infamous pirates to ever sail the seven seas.
A blacksmith and the husband of Elizabeth Swann. A brave man who will stop at nothing to protect those he holds dear, even if it means going up against savage pirates like Davy Jones.
- I'm a Doctor, Not a Placeholder: As he says in the quest "Display of Skills" when Elizabeth says that they need to show the guests a good time to clear the curse, he's "a blacksmith, not an entertainer".
Hector Barbossa is the former first-mate and eventual mutineer of the Black Pearl, wresting control of it away from is arch-rival, Jack Sparrow.
A mysterious voodoo priestess, and the human form of Calypso, the sea goddess.
The cursed Captain of the Flying Dutchman, tasked with ferrying the souls of those who perish at sea to the afterlife. As a result of shirking this duty, he and his crew have taken on more monstrous forms.
Monsters, Inc.
Michael "Mike" Wazowski is a small green one-eyed monster who is the best friend of Sulley. He used to be Sulley's "scare assistant", but is now a comedian who works to collect human children's laughs instead.
James P. "Sulley" Sullivan is a large blue furry monster who is a former "scarer" at Monsters, Inc. and now runs the company.
Mary Gibbs is a human toddler girl who accidentally wandered into the monster world, forever changing it and how they perceive humans. She was nicknamed "Boo" by Sulley, who she calls "Kitty".
- Adaptation Expansion: The only words she clearly said in her original film were "Boo!", "Kitty!" and "Mike Wazowski!" This game does give her a few more words to say, but not much.
Roz is the head of the CDA, or "Child Detection Agency" and former administrator of Scare Floor F. Her grumpy, no-nonsense personality often lead her to blows with Mike Wazowski.
Mike's loving gorgon girlfriend, and the receptionist at Monsters, Inc. She has a bright and cheerful personality, but has a truly frightening temper.
Randall "Randy" Boggs is a chameleon-like monster who is Mike and Sulley's rival.
- Adaptation Distillation: It would appear that his character traits from Monsters University are showing in this game, as he's trying to reform this time around.
- Arc Villain: Averted. He's actively trying to reform.
- Big Bad: Averted. He's trying to reform this time, but he still isn't above pulling pranks.
- The Friend Nobody Likes: Is trying his best to reform, but simply cannot help but keep pulling pranks and generally acting like a jerk.
- Heel–Face Turn: Is actively trying his best to pull off this trope. Emphasis on trying.
WALL•E
WALL-E is a trash compactor robot that cleans up any garbage he can find while keeping any interesting trinkets he finds along the way, but a chance encounter with EVE has given him a better purpose.
EVE is a sleek Earth probe on a search for any sign of life on the planet, but meeting WALL-E makes her realize there could be more than her one directive.
Tangled
Rapunzel's "mother" who kidnapped Rapunzel when she was a baby and has kept her imprisoned in a tower for almost her entire life since. Comes to the park to try to force Rapunzel back to her life of captivity.
- Arc Villain: Serves as the big bad to the Tangled storyline, as well as the overall big bad of the main Fantasyland story.
- Living Forever Is Awesome: She loves having eternal life and youth and is not above using people to get it.
- Older Than She Looks: Thanks to the healing powers of Rapunzel's hair, she looks incredibly young and beautiful for her age.
- Spared by the Adaptation: Since Flynn doesn't get stabbed and forced to cut off Rapunzel's hair, Gothel doesn't get aged to dust in the game like she does in her source material. Instead, Rapunzel and Flynn merely drive Gothel off, and she can be welcomed back into the park later on.
Flynn Rider, real name Eugene Fitzherbert, is a thief who helped Rapunzel experience life outside her tower, eventually leading him to help her escape Gothel's captivity.
Rapunzel's pet chameleon who would often try to convince her to leave her tower.
The princess of Corona who was kidnapped by Gothel for the magical healing properties of her hair while still a baby. Her efforts to escape and explore the world outside the tower she's been held prisoner in and encounters with Flynn serve as the main drive for the Tangled storyline.
- Hair of Gold, Heart of Gold: Has golden blonde hair and is a very nice and kind princess.
- Improbable Weapon User: Uses a frying pan as a weapon during the battle against Gothel.
A horse who was formerly owned by the captain of Corona's knight order. Shown to be both intelligent and tenacious, he spent most of his time trying to capture Flynn Ryder before they formed an uneasy alliance to protect Rapunzel.
Sleeping Beauty
The Mistress of All Evil herself, Maleficent is the Big Bad of the Disney Villains and naturally, is the villain of the main story, curing the Kingdom and ridding it of its magic... or so she thinks.
She is currently the only character in the game who isn't collectable/"playable".
- Big Bad: Not only of her film, but also the game.
- Greater-Scope Villain: While she is the one who cast the curse on the park and serves as the overall big bad for the entire game, she also largely sticks to the shadows plotting while allowing other Disney and Pixar villains to come to the park and actively wreck havoc in her place. Still occasionally takes part in causing chaos herself during her Dark Tower challenges.
The eponymous "Sleeping Beauty". The daughter of King Stefan and Queen Leah, she was cursed by Maleficent to die on the evening of her 16th birthday. Thanks to the intervention of the three good fairies, the curse would only put her into an endless sleep. To protect her, she was sent to live with the fairies under a different name.
The prince of a neighboring kingdom who was betrothed to Aurora from a young age. With the help of the three good fairies, he was able to defeat Maleficent and wake Aurora from her deep slumber.
