Title: Oppai Baka (Breast Idiot) → Oppai Wyrmling → Red Dragon Emperor
The main hero of the story. During the start of his summer break in his first year at Kuoh Academy, Issei makes the stupid decision of touching the magic circle that suddenly appeared in front of him, which drags him from his world to the Nether Institute Evil Academy.Issei's Evility is "Hentai Power." His stats increase for every woman on the field and raise even higher if they have large breasts. On the downside, his stats go down if he fights a woman.
- Chivalrous Pervert: It would not be Issei if he did not fantasize about women with big boobs or loudly proclaim his desires. That being said, he doesn't go overboard in his fantasies, nor does he objectify or act negatively towards any woman he runs into.
- Noodle Incident: He would rather prefer not talking about what happened during the battle with the Alraune, or what exactly Phino's favor was.
- Only Sane Man: Being a human trapped in a world that runs on RPG Mechanics 'Verse and filled with demons with skewed priorities and dubious morality, Issei is often the one questioning if he's really the only sane person in Evil Academy.
- Scylla and Charybdis: Played for Laughs. When Issei first meets Priere, she says she'll let him fondle her breasts in exchange for his life. Issei wants to, thinking it'll be Worth It, but at the same time, he wants to live and tell Motohama and Matsuda he fondled what he thinks are the greatest breasts he's ever seen.
- Story-Breaker Power: And an In-Universe Game-Breaker as far as the rest of the cast is concerned. Although limited to three times a day (more when in Item World), Issei can increase his Level dramatically by sacrificing 10% of his HP. As with his original world and timeline, that limit can be extended.
- Support Party Member: Much to his chagrin and the others' amazement, Issei's [Gift] makes him the ideal support as he can bequeath his Boosts to any of his party members.
- Token Heroic Orc: Up until Asagi joined, Issei was the sole human member of the party.
- Training from Hell: Aside from tedious grinding, Issei undergoes this in full when accepting Mr. Champloo's offer to teach him martial arts.

Title: Nippon Lover
A Samurai demon and one of Agnes' friends. In exchange for helping Issei return home, he requests to come with him and see Japan.Reno's Evility is "Nippon Way." For every demon on the field that is associated with Japan in some way, his stats increase.

Title: Angel-Hearted Pacifist
A child-like demon Issei encounters shortly after escaping the Vatos Brothers and introduces him to her friends, who agree to help him return home.Agnes' Evility is "Peaceful Embrace." When next to an ally, they regain some of their SP, with her ally also regaining some HP.

Title: Loyal Bodyguard
An elder Nekomata demon with a close relationship with Reno. She agrees to help Issei, but only because Reno is helping him.Shiro's Evility is "Old Timer's Experience." When fighting someone with a lower Level than her, she deals 50% more damage.

Title: Fire Child Witch
An eccentric Fire Witch and one of Agnes' close friends. She joins Issei's party at Agnes' request.Kelly's Evility is "Fire Prodigy." The potency of her fire spells is increased by 50%, but the cost of other spells in her repertoire are doubled.

Title: Main Character?
A demon hunter who previously studied under Zetta, the most powerful Overlord in existence. Issei and the others encounter her while in the Heart Bank, who easily befriend her when asking about her video game.Asagi's Evility is "Bullet Set." When attacking normally with a gun, she can fire twice.

A T-Rex demon that Issei and company run into when accompanying Rasberyl to the Home Economics Class. She initially attacks them under the misconception she's with the demon who attacked the dragons living in the building, but later joins when the misunderstanding is cleared.Rathina's Evility is "Ancestor's Life Force." Any Dragon-type allies adjacent to her will regain 20% of their HP. Ddraig

An immensely powerful dragon who resides within Boosted Gear. One of the two Heavenly Dragons, he offers Issei's council when needed. Priere

Title: Overlord
An Overlord from another world, and one of the most powerful in her weight class. She was originally a holy maiden, but became an Overlord after slaying an extremely powerful Demon Lord. She travels with Issei and his friends while observing him upon learning of Boosted Gear's existence. Gig

Master of Death
A wanderer from another world who travels with Revya. When he arrived in Nether Institute Evil Academy, he was separated from Revya, but quickly entertained himself by slaughtering any demon he came across. He later joins Issei at Revya's request.Gig's Evility is "Onyx Blade." When the duration for Magichange ends, Gig remains but his wielder is retired. If his wielder is Revya, they both remain.

A wanderer from another world who travels with Gig. Upon arriving in the Nether Institute Evil Academy, she was separated from Gig and agrees to help Issei look for him. She later joins him under the belief something interesting will happen if she's with him.Revya's Evility is "Devourlord." Any enemies next to her will lose some of their HP.
