Regno d'Italia (Old Lore)
Official Name: Regno d'Italia Click To Show
Ruling Party: Partito Nazionale Fascistanote
- How the Mighty Have Fallen: Throughout the latter half of the 20th century, Italy experienced an economic downturn due to the 1973 Oil Crisis, the colonies' independence, a coup, and a failed war with Lybia (1990–2007). This cost Italy nearly everything. It lost the status of an empire and lagged behind other regional powers in terms of economy and stability. With riots happening more frequently, the collapse of Italy is just a matter of time.
- The Coup: In 1985, 2 years after Vittorio Emanuele's coronation, his cousin Amedeo Umberto collaborated with the PNF party to overthrow Emanuele and expel him to Switzerland, bringing back fascism to Italy.
Leaders:
Gianfranco Fini (2006-2008)
Role: Il Ducenote
Party: PNF - Pnote
Faction: Pragmatist
- Near-Death Experience: King Amedeo and Duce Gianfranco Fini were assassinated by a bomb placed in their public speeches by an unknown group. Although the explosion caused so much damage, Fini managed to survive and escape from the nation. Amedeo is not so lucky.
Power Vaccuum
Role: Interim Government
Party: PNF
Faction: None
Ideology: Interim Governmentnote
- Civil War: With the assassinations of Amedeo and Gianfranco Fini, the PNF will declare martial law and mobilize the troops to combat the riots and protestors. Unfortunately, this also leads to several provinces separating from the PNF and creating a united front against them, resulting in a bloody civil war in Italy.
- A House Divided: Not only is Italy divided into several regions occupied by rebel forces, but members of the PNF are also divided, competing for influence and purging other rivals right inside the government.

- Internal Reformist: Alessandra can choose to democratize the nation after the war, though it is still under the thumb of the PNF.
Ignazio La Russa
Role: Il Ducenote
Party: PNF - Russanote
Ideology: Neofascismnote
- Evil Reactionary: Russa is among the "traditional" fascist factions and will do anything to bring Italy to the "golden age," which is more like Benito Mussolini's time.
- Beneath the Mask: During the war, when facing the public, Russa does not mention any fascist intentions but rather hides under "patriotism" and "nationalism" and tries to gather as much support as possible, even if they are ideologically different. The mask only falls out after he wins the civil war, in which he will implement his policies and purge other rivals.
- Red Scare: Russa blames the national instability on the Communists and will implement martial law in order to root out any trace of them.

Role: Il Ducenote , Prime Minister (post-war)
Party: PNF - Oligarcanote
Ideology: Oligarchynote

- Dark Horse Victory: Due to other leaders' high influence among the PNF, it was nearly impossible for a reformist like Monti to take power, unless Monti used dirty tricks to compete for influence.
