  • Berserk Button: Citra being in danger sets him off. He also really, REALLY doesn't like Grin Nosdriv.
  • Doorstop Baby: He was left to a group of nomadic Humans and Elves as a baby after being taken from the Cloudtop and his birth parents by Alouise.
  • Gentle Giant: As a Firbolg, he towers over most people he meets, but he is a curious and gentle soul. unless he or his friends in danger.

"I don't want to hurt you!"
Race: Chimerakin
Class: Artificer / Barbarian (Path of the Beast)
  • Action Mom: She remembers after some time that she actually became a mother before her bestial transformation.
  • Amnesiac Hero: Cotton doesn't remember most of her life as a human.
  • Beauty to Beast: Was said by Myrad to be quite pretty before her transformation into a chimeric being with huge claws and rage problems.
  • The Big Guy: The undisputed powerhouse of the Astral Corsairs, she can take damage and dish it out just as easily.
  • Body Horror: Cotton's bestial nature becomes more apparent when she rages. As well, when the Blood Moon rises, she transforms and becomes truly monsterous.
  • Cute Monster Girl: Even though her Chimerakin form is described as bestial, she really only looks like a slightly monsterous humanoid female with big ears and large paws that evoke a rabbit.
  • Forced Transformation: One of her past experiments with monster DNA went horribly wrong, and caused her to mutate into a Chimerakin.
  • Happily Married: To Myrad. Their brief estrangement doesn't seem to have taken any of the fire out of their marriage and the two go to insane lengths to keep the other safe and happy.
  • Hybrid Monster: Has the ears of a rabbit, the tail of a lion, lizardlike feet and huge bear paws for hands complete with razor sharp claws.
  • Missing Mom: After she transformed, she went missing and to most of the world, her daughter included, she was presumed dead.
  • My Greatest Failure: Her experiments with chimera and lycanthrope DNA are the direct cause of a massacre, and she suffers with that knowledge every day.
  • Reluctant Monster: She wants to live a normal life, but her transformation causes her to have fits of rage.
    Holly

Holly Dusknell

Played by: Pastel Werewolf

"Part of me feels like I have no right to judge for being abrasive."
Race: Human
Class: Cleric (Grave Domain)
  • Angelic Transformation: Whenever she uses her raven mask, she temporarily receives the same powers as a Protector Aasimar.
  • Aloof Dark-Haired Girl: Although she is the 2nd shortest member of the party, she otherwise fits this to a tee.
  • Animal Motifs: Being that she worships the Raven Queen, her outfit and even her spells have a raven or feather theme to them.
  • Combat Medic: Being the party cleric, she doles out most of the heeling, but she's also shown to be deadly with her pair of axes.
  • Dual Wielding: With her twin handaxes.
  • Due to the Dead: As a follower of the Raven Queen, she makes sure that her clerical duties are taken care of, which tends to be preparing bodies to be buried or tending to graveyards.
  • Eerie Pale-Skinned Brunette: Again, she fits the bill. Dark hair, pale skin, and yellow eyes give her a striking and sometimes unsettling air.
  • Goth: Once again, she fits like a glove.
  • Healing Hands: As the party cleric, this tends to be her specialty.
  • Hidden Buxom: During her medical checkup, she had to undo her chest binding which revealed that she is quite well endowed.
  • I Need a Freaking Drink: Despite being the most reserved member of the party, she enthusiastically supports the idea of getting wasted with the party, particularly if something stressful or awkward happens.
  • Mysterious Past: She doesn't really talk all that much, but she talks even less about her upbringing, as it seems to be somewhat of a sore subject for her. Her time in the Tower of the Lotus alludes to an event in her past that causes her great shame, but it has yet to be elaborated on.
  • Power Gives You Wings: She can don her mask to sprout ethereal raven wings.
  • Raven Hair, Ivory Skin: Do I even need to say it?
  • The Stoic: She rarely speaks, and when she does it's with a resigned, matter-of-fact tone.
  • Tomboy: Downplayed. Her choice of clothes and use of a chest binding make her appear more masculine, though she still wears makeup and lipstick.
    Myrad

Captain Myrad

Played by: Key Ink

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/myradfullpose_3.png
"I gotta make sure I don't fall apart on you guys."
Race: Fire Genasi
Class: Rogue (Swashbuckler) / Warlock (The Fathomless)
The Captain of the Nightwish who also doubles as the ship's cook.

  • Action Dad: Downplayed in that although Myrad is a father and an adventurous pirate sailing the seas with his crew, he's yet to be shown actually being a father to his daughter, though that's no fault of his own. Or is it?
  • Back from the Dead: Is unceremoniously killed in session 12, but is Revivified a few moments later.
  • Badass Longcoat: His captain's coat is pretty cool.
  • Bad Powers, Good People: His warlock pact with the Goddess of Death-at-Sea, Beltanya gives him a variety of water based powers.
  • Berserk Button: Whenever his family is disparaged or threatened, specifically his daughter.
  • The Captain: Of the Nightwish.
  • Cool Sword: The Daydream gives him perfect control over the Nightwish and everything on it.
  • Deal with the Devil: Beltanya gives him his Warlock powers, and though she isn't outwardly evil, she is shown to be rather manipulative and spiteful towards him.
  • Elemental Eye Colors: Zig-Zagged. As a Fire Genasi, Myrad has a firey yellow eye, but the one underneath his eyepatch is blue and has an octopus like pupil, betraying his water based powers.

  • The Face: He's handsome, charismatic, a good leader and he rightfully does most of the talking for the crew.
  • Fire/Water Juxtaposition: He is a Fire Genasi, but most of his powers are water based, representing his patron, Beltanya.
  • The Leader: It comes with being Captain of the Nightwish, Myrad calls most of the shots for the party and he doubles as * The Face when talking with important people
  • Making a Splash: As a Fathomless Warlock, he has access to a variety of water-based powers and spells.

  • Tall, Dark, and Handsome: Myrad is quite attractive, as well as being the tallest member of the party.

    Rolói

Rolói

Played by: Distortion Devil

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/roloifullimage.png
"This is not how I die!"
Race: Satyr
Class: Wizard (Chronurgy School)
The Ship's Lookout and Wizard.
  • Ambiguously Bi: He's shown interest in both men and women.
  • Badass Long Robe: His standard attire is a blue hooded robe with gold trim.
  • Beware the Silly Ones: Even though Rolói's fey ancestry really shines through with his capriciousness and tomfoolery, he is still a powerful magician and is adept at using his spells in creative ways.
  • Blatant Lies: He regularly makes up words and claims them to mean different things in other languages. The rest of the party are usually able to see through him however.
  • Blithe Spirit: He's always ready with a joke or a wisecrack, and he LOVES some good-natured ribbing.
  • Catchphrase: "This is not how I die!" Usually when he's about to die.
  • Cloud Cuckoolander: Rolói, being a fey and having had a very interesting time growing up, is by most people's standards a little odd. He has little regard for personal space, always has a joke ready for any occasion, and lives every day like it's his last. That's because it very well could be, due to the black mark.
  • Did You Just Punch Out Cthulhu??: Sort of. Upon meeting with the pirate lord that had been hunting his family since before he was born, Rolói froze him in time and Myrad cast him off of the Nightwish, earning them a minor, yet swift and important victory over the entity.
  • Dirty Old Man: Having the body of someone in their mid 60's hasn't stopped him from being a shameless flirt and lech, and is implied to have had numerous romantic exploits before the campaign began, although the validity of these claims is up in the air. He's also openly admitted on several occasions that he thinks everyone in the party is attractive.
  • Exotic Eye Designs: He has Goat-like horizontal pupils and bright amethyst colored irises.
  • Going Commando: As a satyr, his nethers are obscured with fur, hence he doesn't really feel the need to wear underwear, or even pants for that matter.
  • Large Ham: In stark contrast to his previous character, Connor really goes over the top.
  • Mad Oracle: His outward kookiness could be a side-effect of his apparent ability to see into future timelines. Subverted, as quieter moments have revealed that Rolói isn't quite as crazy as he lets on.
  • Meaningful Name: Rolói is a phonetic English spelling of the greek "Ρολόι" which means "Clock" in Greek.
  • Obfuscating Stupidity: He's shown on several occasions that his happy-go-lucky and somewhat ditzy personality is more or less an act.
  • No Sense of Personal Space: Tends to happen when the party group huddles, he really leans into it.
  • O.O.C. Is Serious Business: When Rolói drops the happy-go-lucky personality, it's a good indicator that something is VERY wrong.
  • Rapid Aging: His powers of Chronomancy have been shown to cause him to appear older, such as when he is low on spell slots, though the process usually reverses, he is shown to normally appear a bit older than his stated age of early 30's.
  • Squishy Wizard: Wizards have notoriously low HP pools, and Rolói is no exception. He's gone unconscious, or nearly so more than any other character in the party.
  • The Smart Guy: Despite his capriciousness and sometimes foolhardy nature, Roloi is indisputably the most intelligent member of the party. He's well versed in arcane magic, as well as the way the universe, specifically the flow of time functions, and he has a knack for tactical thinking to boot.
  • Time Master: It's his whole schtick really. Most of his spells are flavored in such a way that time is being manipulated, such as the spell "Slow" actually slowing down time for his foes, or "Wither and Bloom" rapidly aging enemies while at the same time reversing his allies' wounds.
  • Troll: He likes to mess with people for his own amusement.
  • Younger Than They Look: His untrained use of chronomancy magic has prematurely aged him, making him appear to be approaching his 70's when he's stated to be in his early to mid 30's.
  • Your Days Are Numbered: The God of Time, Amser tells him that due to his mishandling of time magic, he'll continue to rapidly age until he's nothing but dust before the year is out.

    Wenrie

Wenrie Tealeaf

Played by: Transient Day

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/wenrifullimage.png
"Technically, it's *my* ship."
Race: Halfling / Dragon Touched
Class: Sorcerer (Draconic Bloodline)
  • Animal Lover: Takes care of the ship's pet dinosaur.
  • Berserk Button: Whenever she meets the current target of the Klinghex, she always flies into a rage, but particularly when Visgal is nearby.
  • Beware the Nice Ones: She's cordial and friendly to most, but if you get her angry or put her friends in danger, she shows a particularly nasty side.
  • Born Lucky: As a Halfling her good luck is almost unnatural. Averted, as she never really used her Halfling Luck before her race changed.

  • Horned Humanoid: Has a pair of draconic horns on her head.
  • I See Dead People: She can interact with the ghostly imprints of the souls of previous users of the Klinghex.
  • Mark of the Supernatural: Her draconic horns and scales are a good indicator of her sorcerous origin.
  • Named Weapons: The Klinghex.
  • Power Dyes Your Hair: After mastering the Klinghex further, her hair turns platinum blonde when she summons it's power.
  • Shock and Awe: Tends to fling out lightning spells such as Witch Bolt and Shocking Grasp.
  • Squishy Wizard: She can take more abuse than Rolói, but not much.
  • Spontaneous Weapon Creation: Via the Klinghex or Shadowblade.
  • Your Soul Is Mine!: Rolói learned after casting Identify on the Klinghex that she is destined to join the other wielders once she dies.
  • The Heart: She's generally full of cheer and goodwill.
