Straw Hat Pirates
Hijiri Ami
- Foil: To Cross. Both are normal humans from Earth, transported into the One Piece world whose story they've read so they have knowledge of future events, and love to make references to pop culture. But Ami not only entered a few years after Cross did. She has also read the story of Cross' adventures up to a certain point and how it changed events, so she's a Self-Insert in a story he is part of. He only realizes then he is too a self-insert character.
- She is anxious where he is confident. She regularly struggles for the right words (or puts her foot in her mouth) where he is skilled at manipulating people with his. She hates the habit of his when he breaks people's composure by verbally attacking their weak points.
- Imagination-Based Superpower: Using Copy Essence as the material, Ami can technically copy any skill, ability, and object she has seen at least once and reasonably understands. The caveat is that since Copy Essence basically derives from Ami's Life Energy, she can only use it so much before she gets sick. She also needs focus points, that manifest on her body from Copy Essence, based on what she's copying as conduits for the skills and abilities. The focus points drain her further.
- Nervous Wreck: Ami gets stressed easily under duress, often to the point of panic, because of her anxiety issues. Her thoughts also tend to spiral down into worst case scenarios.
- Power Copying: One aspect of the Copy-Copy-Fruit is that it allows her to copy any ability Ami has reasonable understanding of.
- Breath Weapon: Creating the dragon construct allows her to breath fire.
- Flight: She creates functional wings.
- Gravity Master: Copying Uraraka Ochako's Quirk, she reduces an object or person's gravity. The focus points are her fingers and the highlights in her hair.
- Shock and Awe: A powerful electrical discharge. The focus points manifest as a hood and a hair antenna based on Larxene.
- Spectral Weapon Copy: Another aspect of Ami's devil fruit is her ability to instantly recreate weapons, like Nami's bo-staff when the latter attacks her in Iwai's shipyard.
