Nordskelt Deer Realms

The Nordskelt Deer Realms are the home of the Nordskelt Deer Herds, who were once part of a larger sapient Deer race until the "First/Second Splintering" occurred due to disagreements between the Elternteil Deer Pantheon's various deities, causing mortal Deerkind to split into three. It is notable for being the birthplace and home for many individuals, such as Flœrð and his sister Mjolna, adoptive children of High King Kaldr, and Prince Stoltur Skjöldur, one of Pokhot's sons.

  • Horny Vikings: Nordslekt Deer Tribes are the latest civilization to build itself in Cervidia, the Codexverse's version of Scandinavia. Taking after their long line of Ragnarok'd predecessors, they are this on a cultural and political level.

  • The Archmage: One of, if not the, most powerful mages in all of Cervidia, capable of casually crushing armies by herself.

  • Magic Knight: On top of being The Archmage, she's also an extremely skilled melee fighter.
  • Power at a Price: One reason she's so powerful is she's bonded to a lake that serves as a powerful magical nexus. However, in exchange, she physically cannot go beyond a certain proximity of it.

Other

Onda Ryggraden, the Scourge of the Nine Seas
A villainous Deer warrior-pirate that has been worshiped as some kind of deity by a group of fallen and malicious warriors, and resurrected as a Lich. At one point, two of Emperor Golden Scepter's sons, Prince Fanged Paw and his younger brother, Prince Written Word, teamed up to fight and put a permanent end to him.
  • Back from the Dead: Implied; Prince Written Word's entry mentions that he was apparently summoned as some kind of "god" by a clan of Fallen and malicious warriors. He would come back as a Lich.
  • Expy: Of Spinal, being undead warrior-pirates.
  • The Marvelous Deer: Averted, as he's described as a Deer Lich warrior/pirate who was worshiped as a god by a clan of malicious warriors, and was apparently summoned from the dead by them to sow terror.
  • Meaningful Name: His name translates to "Evil Spine" in Swedish.
  • Names to Run Away from Really Fast: An evil Deer Lich warrior/pirate named "Onda Ryggraden", which is a cool and terrifying name on its own. It also translates to "Evil Spine" in Swedish.
  • Red Baron: Known as "the Scourge of the Nine Seas".

    Voldugur Skjöldur, the Shield-Bearer/Depraved Conqueror

Character: Villainous

Alignment: Neutral Evil

Type: Nordskelt Deer/Warlord/Narcissist/Fallen Hero/Conqueror

Faction: Nordskelt Deer Realms, [WIP]

Voldugur Skjöldur is the biological father of Prince Stoltur Skjöldur, and was an extremely depraved Cervidian Deer warlord in life.
  • Brother–Sister Incest: Implied to be his relationship with his sister. Then it's subverted with Stoltur, whom Voldugur sired with the Doe he thought was his sister, but was actually a disguised Pokhot who murdered Voldugur's real sister and took on her identity. Learning of the deception from a gloating Pokhot in his final moments caused him to devolve into a maddened, gibbering mess.
  • Expy: He's based on Sigvald the Magnificent, except unlike his son, Stoltur, he's based on the nastiest and most depraved aspects of Sigvald's character, with no redeeming qualities whatsoever.
  • Family Theme Naming: Both he and his son Stoltur have Icelandic names that revolve around shields - his name translates to "mighty shield", while Stoltur's name translates to "prideful shield".
  • Follow in My Footsteps: He wanted a then-infant Stoltur to take after him or perhaps succeed him, as he had delusions of grandeur where he imagined himself subjecting all of Cervidia (and possibly the world) under his iron-hoofed rule. Fortunately for Stoltur, his mother, Pokhot, secretly sabotaged her mortal lover and left him to die at the hooves of his oppressed subjects while she took their infant son to her hell-fief.
  • I'm a Humanitarian: One of the atrocities he committed in life was unrestrained cannibalism.
  • The Magnificent: He was once known as "the Shield-Bearer". Later on, he would become known as "the Depraved Conqueror".
  • Meaningful Name: His name means "mighty shield" in Icelandic.
  • Posthumous Character: He's long dead by the time Codex Equus researchers get to record information about him, and already suffering for his crimes in the Hoyklan Deer Pantheon's Hell-Realms watched over by Armr. But he left behind a Villainous Legacy that has haunted his son Stoltur for a long time.
  • Rape Is a Special Kind of Evil: One of the atrocities he committed in life was physical and emotional rape.

    Kratos, the Ghost/Shadow of Sparta
