Characters / Codex Equus Multiversal Travellers And Factions

Go To

Here is a list of characters and factions from across the Multiverse of which 'Mainline Equus' (the main setting) is merely one universe among infinite cosmos and timelines within, many of whom could travel to other universes with as much ease as going to their neighbour's house.

Planeswalkers

    General
  • Adaptational Badass: Compare to their usual depiction in Magic: The Gathering, every Planeswalker depicted so far are shown to rival if not surpass pre-Mending 'Oldwalkers' in terms of age, power, knowledge and skills than their modern post-Mending counterparts, which could be chalked up to in-universe game lore nerfing as well as the fact the Planeswalkers' nature are taken to their logical conclusions. Even the weakest Planeswalkers depicted so far are casually mentioned to be capable of unbelievable feats like casual time travel, destroying entire suns, building intergalactic civilizations and fighting divine pantheons.
  • Expy: Of the Planeswalkers from Magic: The Gathering, with unique twists and additions.
  • Intercontinuity Crossover: Both Magic: The Gathering and My Little Pony are different franchises with wildly different themes and tones, but both of them belong to Hasbro, and the former's lore in particular makes it almost entirely possible for Planeswalker to show up on Equus at any time.

    Planeswalker Queen Majesty
First hinted in one Drabble and officially introduced in another Drabble, Planeswalker Queen Majesty is as her name implied an alternate universe counterpart of Queen Majesty of Mainline Equus who became a Planeswalker, and would go on to greatly expand her already auspicious legend across the Multiverse.
  • The Dreaded: Even younger and less powerful Planeswalkers respected her and feared her disapproval on account of her vastly greater age, power, knowledge, skills and feats compared to her original mortal self. The same is implied with a significant portion of the multiverse.
  • The High Queen: Was this in her original life like her original self, now on a multiversal scale as the founder and soverein of the multiverse-spanning Great Dream Kingdom.
  • Home Base: An unimaginably epic one. Known as the Grand Majestic Spiral, it is nothing short of a defined portion of the infinite multiverse - consisting of infinite number of universes and planes - which is under her complete control and personal management. And it's not even the capital of her Great Dream Kingdom or the meeting place of the Majestic Manifold, either: according Planeswalker Mirthful Stone, that's simply her personal residence/fief.
  • Parental Substitute: Implied to became one for many younger Planeswalkers and multiverse travellers like Planeswalker Mirthful Stone, being shown to be stern and serious with them if they (possibly) messed up but also being caring and encouraging of them like a parent does.
  • Point of Divergence: Heavily implied to have diverged from Mainline Equus Queen Majesty at the point of her original death,
  • Worth Living For: Becoming a Planeswalker had apparently reignited her will to live as she took to exploring and saving the planes and worlds of the multiverse, whereas her original self accepted her imminent death with grace partly because she was very tired by that point, having lived and battled all sorts of horrors for millions of years to bring Ponykind and the rest of her galaxy to a better future.
