    Carol the Wildcat
"I'M GAY!! I'M SO FREAKING GAY! YOU'VE NEVER MET A PERSON GAYER THAN CAROL THE WILDCAT!!"

    War Lilac
"THIS WORLD WILL KNOW THE WRATH OF WAR LILAC!!! ALL THE FIRE IN HER HEART WILL EAT THIS DIMENSION ALIVE!!!! WAHAHAHAHAA!!!!!"

  • Ax-Crazy: Or, really sharp knife crazy, in this case.
  • Evil Is Petty: Very petty in this adaptational case; War Lilac Freedom Dies With Me was a violent creature acting out of pure insanity, while the rebooted War is an Anti-Villain at best, acting out of anger and fear. Here, she's a petty little Saturday Morning Cartoon villain who lays waste to Shang Mu and Lilac's Treehouse because... she wants to.
  • Evil Laugh: Her signature and introduction.
  • Lady Swears-a-Lot: She's the only character in the story to drop an F-Bomb (aside from Carol, who it seemed to rub off on) and does so no less than ten times. The comparably tame Lilac is appalled by this, seeing as the source material isn't so crude. War Lilac doesn't care.
War Lilac: I'M MOTHERFUCKING WAR LILAC!!!!
    Lilac: [gasps overdramatically] Language!
War Lilac: Shut the fuck up.
  • Psycho Lesbian: Well, Psycho Bisexual, technically. Thankfully, her treatment of Carol is fairly tame, aside from kidnapping her.
  • Psychopathic Womanchild: War is older than Lilac (War's "official" bio paints her as "very probably 18," while Lilac herself is 15 in the first game and 17 in the second), and yet she's incredibly immature and violent as opposed to Lilac's own calmer nature.
  • Third-Person Person: She slips into this for a very brief moment when her Berserk Button is pushed.

    Lilac
War Lilac: "Ooh, you're getting on my nerves, you slimy saccharine sue!"
Lilac: "That insult doesn't really work when I'm this out-of-character."

  • Adaptational Jerkass: Canon Lilac is a friendly, heroic Genki Girl through and through. This Lilac is a cynical and somewhat selfish jerk who doesn't care if cities burn or if her friends live or die.
  • Anti-Hero: In addition to the above, she only seems to be trying to stop War Lilac out of obligation.
  • Bitch in Sheep's Clothing: Her treatment of Carol certainly isn't the nicest, but on the surface, she seems to be about the same as her Nice Girl canon counterpart.

    Milla
"Well, you know, the author doesn't like me very much, so sticking around too long runs the risk of being killed off."

  • Dropped a Bridge on Him: Or in this case, pushed her off a Holodragon.
  • Nice Girl: She seems to be the only member of Team Lilac who doesn't do anything massively douchey at any point.
  • 10-Minute Retirement: Leaves less than halfway through the story for fear of being killed off, then shows up in the climax to save the day. She does end up dying, by the way.

    Torque
Lilac: "Don't mind him, he's straight."
Torque: "What does that have to do with anything?!"

  • Adaptational Wimp: Torque in canon is a brave soldier and one of the most powerful playable characters in the game. Here, he's the team's weakest link, not to mention a crybaby.
  • Butt-Monkey: The others just can't let the hetero live in peace.

    Spade
"Oh, I thought we just decided to give up and await the cold embrace of death."

  • Even the Guys Want Him: He's the one that Torque goes for seconds after deciding that he's not straight anymore.

    Zilac the Zone Cop
"Maybe now I can finally get that promotion I've been asking for!"

  • Non-Action Guy: Zilac, as it turns out, is not an active fighter within the No-Zone. Rather, she is a counselor who stole the uniform from a locker room to go after War Lilac. War calls her out on this, to Zilac's horror.
