In General

• Birds of a Feather: The bow users are all naturalists.
• Bottomless Magazines: They are never depicted as running out of arrows or having quivers to store their arrows in the first place.
• Character Roster Global Warming: Inverted, they're Glass Cannon as well as Fragile Speedster but are the slowest among all the classes to receive new characters, and is the class with the fewest characters period.
• Critical Hit Class: Tends to deal critical hits more than other classes, which offsets their relatively low attack.
• Extra Turn: They can attack 3 times instead of 2 like the others.
• Fragile Speedster: Has the highest evasion out of all other types, but also has the lowest defense.

9 – Nagai Kafū (永井荷風)

Another quintessential part of literature is playful experimentation.

A refined and courteous gentleman who enjoys the fine arts, but secretly has a lot of complaints and dissatisfactions.

• Bitch in Sheep's Clothing: Normally behaves gentle and pleasant, but privately keeps diaries where he mostly writes complaints.
• Blonde, Brunette, Redhead: For the Mita school, Brunette to Haruo's Redhead and Rofū's Blonde.
• Broken Pedestal: To Haruo, as the younger was disappointed upon knowing that the person he respects very much actually resents him.
• Cool Big Bro: He is both idol and savior to Tanizaki, who enjoys following him around. He does seem to think highly of Tanizaki himself, even recommending his books for the player.
• Cultured Warrior: Gentlemanly and refined with an interest in collecting arts, and can hold himself in battle.
• Eastern Zodiac: Rabbit (1879).
• Hates Being Alone: As he died alone in his previous life, he has a hidden fear of loneliness. He confides this fear to Tanizaki, and if he achieves normal double attack in breakdown, he'd all but straight-up beg the attack partner not to leave him alone.
• Hidden Depths: Pleasant and suave as he is, deep down he can be irritable and Hates Being Alone.
• Japanese Pronouns: Boku, but in moments where he lets slip a vulnerable side he'd switch to watashi, case in point his katsudon recollection with Tanizaki and his double attack line in breakdown.
• Long-Haired Pretty Boy
• Princely Young Man: He's a classy, well-dressed man in the first place, and many costumes and memorias make him look even more regal and prince-like.
• The Rival: He harbors overt hatred for Kan, which he doesn't hesitate to say to his face.
• Secret Diary: Has one, which Haruo manages to take a look and mentions about it during their recollection.
• Trademark Favorite Food: Katsudon.
• Western Zodiac: Sagittarius (December 3).^note The only bow-type with the archer sign, and yet has a different stat growth from all the other bow-types… make of this what you will. Incidentally, his used-to-be admirer Haruo is an Aries while his fan Tanizaki is a Leo, both compatible signs with his.

10 – Shimazaki Tōson (島崎藤村)

• Constantly Curious: Always attempts to gather information, asks questions whenever possible, and would go so far as to try to get killed off so he can satisfy the burning desire to know what death feels like (again).
• Creepy Monotone: How he speaks most of the time.
• Deadpan Snarker: Displays this tendency at times. For instance, when he and Katai delve into Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and the latter goes gaga at Alice:

• Flower Motif: Wisteria, considering his name means "wisteria village".

• Heroic Self-Deprecation: Thinks lowly of himself.

• The Rival: To Akutagawa. Whenever meet, they are prone of throwing Volleying Insults at each other.
• Stealth Insult: When he and Katai eat fish together, he tells the latter he saves the fish eyes for him as they're said to improve intelligence.

• Chivalrous Pervert: A bright, honest guy who likes pretty young girls.

• Heterosexual Life-Partners: With Doppo. Overlapped with Like an Old Married Couple, which Katai once joked about their relationship as.
• Stupid Sexy Flanders: Often has this reaction towards Tōkoku, which the latter teases him about.
• Western Zodiac: Aquarius (January 22). Incidentally, he and his friend Doppo (Virgo) have incompatible signs, which may explain the Like an Old Married Couple shtick.
• What Did I Do Last Night?: As told in his letter to Tōkoku, the two got drunk together and Katai has no memory of what happened later, but Doppo and Tōson refuse to tell him what. Since this also involves Tōkoku, the implications are strong.
