Main Characters

John F. Kennedy

The 35th president of the United States of America from 1961 to 1969. Husband, father, Catholic and survivor of the events of November 22nd, 1963.

  • Alternate History: Jack manages to survive his assassination in Dallas due to there being a bubble top roof installed on that fateful day, ensuring that he continues his reign until the end of the decade, and causing the course of human history to change. Although it came at the cost of John Connally.
  • Our Presidents Are Different: JFK is considered one of the best presidents in history by many future historians, nicknaming him 'the second FDR'. Due to his peace-making abroad, reforms, policies, inspiring speeches and charisma.

Marilyn Monroe

The lady whose survival from a potential drug overdose leads to the events of the timeline itself.

  • Dumb Blonde: Purposely subverted in this timeline after Marylin's failed suicide. She becomes a feminist, goes to Washington to advocate for the Equal Pay Act (EPA), and helps popularize Betty Friedan's The Feminine Mystique.
  • Point of Divergence: Monroe is basically the person who this centers around, as she is saved from her imminent death from drug overdose by her maid and therapist on August 4th, 1962.

Minor Characters

Arthur Bremer

A depressed loner from Wisconsin who fills in the mark in history that Lee Harvey Oswald failed to do...

  • Historical Villain Upgrade: Very much the case in the Blue Skies universe compared to our world. Arthur Bremer not only manages to kill the U.S President, George Wilcken Romney, he basically launches himself into stardom and gains the attention and legacy that Oswald got in our world. It is much of an upgrade compared to him simply paralyzing George Wallace from the waist down in our universe.

  • The Kingslayer: Self-explanatory.
