Karyu Ginsora
The second son of the Ginsora Clan. His Zanpakuto is Gekkō, which lets him hypnotize anyone who's seen it into doing anything he wants.
- Achilles' Heel: As revealed in Chapter 7, Gekkō has one huge drawback: Karyu has to complete his catchphrase to actually complete the Hypnosis. This is exploited by Toyakuro Aikami.
- The Dreaded: To Rangiku up until Chapter 7.
- Foil:
- His Zanpakuto acts as the inverse to Aizen's. Aizen's could freely manipulate a victim's senses but their judgement remained their own. Karyu's instead leaves his victim's senses intact but completely distorts their judgement.
- Heel–Face Turn: Starts this in Chapter 7. Seems to be on the verge of completing it in Chapter 12.
- It's Personal: To Gouran in Chapter 15. Overlaps with You Killed My Father.
- Mind-Control Device: His Zanpakuto functions as one. He uses it to get out of fighting opponents or to quickly overcome powerful enemies, like Captains.
- Pet the Dog: Uses Gekkō to let Aikami decide who she wants to be in Chapter 7.
- Stalker with a Crush: To Rangiku. Until Chapter 7.
- Technical Pacifist: It's made apparent early on that Karyu prefers to avoid fighting, and especially killing. For Gouran, he makes an exception.
Toyakuro Aikami
The new 3rd Seat of the Twelfth Division.
- Emotionless Girl: At first. Karyu hypnotizes her to be want she wants to be in Chapter 7.
- Half-Human Hybrid: Revealed to be a Hollow-Shinigami Hybrid in Chapter 7.
- Innocent Fanservice Girl: Starts to take on tones after Karyu hypnotizes her in Chapter 7. She even seems to be taking notes from Rangiku.
- Replacement Goldfish: Downplayed. She seems to be Kurotsuchi's go-to gal for dirty work now, given that Nemu's actual replacement would still be a small child at this point...
Kaigo Ginsora
The eldest son of the Ginsora Clan. His Zanpakuto is Raichō, which gives him Shock and Awe Abilities.
- Anti-Hero / Anti-Villain: Depends of how you view him, especially after Siramase steps into the role of Arc Villain...
- Big Brother Instinct: Is willing to challenge Captains in pursuit of his younger brother and lie to his father about Karyu's accomplishments.
- Combat Pragmatist: Isn't above attacking his opponents when their backs are turned, as demonstrated with his second battle with Hitsugaya.
Siramase Ginsora
Mitsumasa's Wife and Karyu's Stepmother. The Arc Villain of the Lost Clan Ginsora Arc
- Arc Villain: To the Lost Clan Ginsora Arc.
- Anti-Magic: Has powers similar to Zogasu, but can also take control of Zanpakuto Spirits and use them herself.
- Mama Bear: Shows some of these tendencies towards at least Karyu and Zogasu...
- Yamato Nadeshiko: A dark take on it.
