The Vigilante of London himself.

The titular main protagonist of the story. Alex is a typical college student, who one night ends up falling into a dumpster and into a secret lab. Here, he ends up getting chemicals spilled on him, which gave him his powers. He then took on a vigilante alter-ego who goes by the name Attracopel, and began to protect London from harm.

  • Hero Protagonist: He’s the main protagonist of the story, and the main one fighting against evil.
  • Hero with Bad Publicity: After Chief Harold Kruel declares Attracopel as a criminal who is breaking the law, he becomes wanted by the police, and those even seen near him are interrogated and threatened with arrest. Subverted when the chief himself is exposed for his heinous actions, and after Attracopel defeats Dr. Twister and saves London from his rule, the Prime Minister states that Attracopel and Toxair are heroes, and that the police shouldn’t go after them.
  • Kirk Summation: To Wolfalco in the mall.
Not all humans are bad... Wolfalco, you’ve got to understand, sure some humans aren’t good. Yeah, quite a decent chunk suck ass. But not all of them are bad! There are many incredible humans out there, who do incredible things, and look after each other! Heck, a bunch of humans love animals, and treat them kindly, so you can’t say all humans are nature destroyers. I know we’ve done a lot of things were [sic] not proud of, but we’re a great species as well, we just have a lot of bad apples. Please, stop ending innocent lives. Just-
  • Nice Guy: He’s a pretty friendly guy, and is shown to be caring and understanding.
  • Screw the Rules, I'm Doing What's Right!: After Harold has him presented as a criminal, he still continues to fight crime.
  • Vigilante Man: It’s literally in the title.

    Ben Esmerald

Reckless, but he means well!

Alex’s best friend, and the deuteragonist of the story. He is an energetic college student who supports Alex through his vigilante life, giving him advice, helping him out with some tasks, and providing emotional support. After Alex loses hope and stops being Attracopel for a bit, he steals from a Tornadite Inc. scientist, and takes on the name of Toxair, helping fight against Twister’s reign.

  • Best Friend: He’s Alex’s best friend, and has been since childhood.
  • Comedic Hero: His energy and jokes make him pretty comedic.
  • Determinator: He has optimism to the end, even after Twister is revealed to be evil, and doesn’t give up in the fight against evil.
  • Deuteragonist: The second most important hero in the story, behind Alex.
  • Reckless Sidekick: He tends to get overly excited and as a result, he acts reckless. One time, his recklessness caused Wolfalco to escape.
  • Vigilante Man: He assists Attracopel in several heroic deeds. He also becomes a vigilante himself later on, called Toxair.

    Dr. Harry Twister (Unmarked Spoilers

Dr. Harry Twister

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/d6c4b795_1ea7_4abd_90ec_fe8840741320.jpeg
You spin me right round baby!

Ok, this is all a lot to take in. But it will be fine! Everything’s fine! So, sorry to not introduce myself. Hi, names Dr Harry Twister, and I’m a kind of mad scientist!

Dr. Twister is a shady yet charismatic and extremely intelligent scientist who likes making inventions. When Alex ends up in his lab, he makes him a hero costume, and helps him become Attracopel by acting as a mentor, helping him out with his powers. However, later on he was revealed to have been using Alex the whole time, and is secretly the main antagonist of the story, working from the shadows by manipulating everyone else. He really seeks to take over London, and remake society in favour of intelligence.

  • Big Bad: He is secretly the main antagonist of the story, with him taking over London in the second half.
  • The Chessmaster: In the story, he manages to trick many people and play people like a game of chess. For example, he attached a device to Wolfalco, and manages to trick him into going certain places to Attracopel can come in and stop him. He also tricks Alex into doing stuff for him.
  • Eccentric Mentor: He is a mentor for Alex, and to call him over-dramatic is an understatement.
  • Even Evil Has Standards: Shows disgust at Kruel’s treatment of his daughter.
  • Evil All Along: While at first, he appears to be a shady yet helpful mentor to Alex, it is later revealed he was using him for his own gain.
  • Face Death with Dignity: Calls Attracopel's redirection of his tornado that results in his own death impressive.
  • Faux Affably Evil: He pretends to be a nice mentor, but in reality he’s more then willing to backstab someone.
  • Freudian Excuse: He was bullied in his past due to his intelligence and quirky personality.
  • Large Ham: Whether evil or whether not, it is insulting to call him over-dramatic. And it is glorious.
  • Laughably Evil: He has a lot of funny lines, both before and after the reveal. He cracks a lot of jokes, and is very dramatic, making him very enjoyable.
  • Manipulative Bastard: He manages to manipulate Alex and Ben into helping him steal the energy relic. He also manipulates Alex into trusting him as a mentor.
  • Treacherous Advisor: He poses as a mentor for Alex, turning him into a hero, in reality, it’s all to manipulate him into doing what he wants.
  • Well-Intentioned Extremist: He genuinely believes that remaking society in favour of intelligence will help society advance, and he also wants nerds to be treated better.
  • Villainous Respect: Has admitted he actually liked Attracopel and actually understood his problems and wished e joined him. He even calls Attracopel's killing move against him impressive.

    Sarah Sapphirus

Sarah Sapphirus

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/8976541d_8967_4e72_95ca_53a2e9a52478.jpeg
So she’s the daughter of the chief, huh…

Sarah Sapphirus is the daughter of Chief Harold Kruel. At first, she follows his orders, albeit reluctantly due to having a shaky relationship with her abusive dad. However, once Twister takes over London, she begins disapproving of her father even more for working with him, and ended up digging into her dads secret villainous deeds, which ended up driving her to betray her father and help out the heroes. She now serves as the London Police Chief, hoping to make up for her fathers actions.

  • Abusive Dad: Her father is very abusive towards her, and only sees her as a weapon.
  • Action Girl: She’s got plenty of action and fighting abilities up her sleeve.
  • Cop Killer. Justified. It’s kind of a weird variation of the trope, but it counts. Sarah is a cop herself, and she kills her father, who is the police chief. But her father is a corrupt man who has murdered and prosecuted dozens of innocent people.
  • Fair Cop: She’s pretty young for a police officer, being around 18-20 years old. She even becomes the police chief at the end, making her very young for such a role.
  • Good All Along: At first, she just appears to be Kruel’s daughter who works for him. Later, it is revealed that she isn’t actually evil, and isn’t aware of her dad’s crimes. Plus, she never actually wanted to go after Attracopel. Once she finds out his crimes, this pushes her to work for the right cause and ditch her dad, showing she had good intentions all along.
  • The Medic: She gets healing powers, which allows her to heal others wounds.
  • Revenge: She kills her father after he is exposed and defeated. While she had some noble intent here as she thought he’d bribe his way out, part of her also did it out of revenge due to everything he’s done.
  • You Are in Command Now: After her father’s death, she takes over as the London police chief.

    Chief Harold Kruel

Chief Harold Kruel

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/8e0f1c15_19a7_49df_b060_692ab4fd2ae2.jpeg
Who thought the man who was meant to protect us would be so… Cruel? Heheh…

Attracopel, wherever you are, come here now. I have killed dozens of scum, and if you do not hand yourself in, I will find you and kill you. Vigilantes don’t do well with me. Anyone who is seen assisting him will be charged equally as guilty.

Chief Harold Kruel is the corrupt police chief of London. Upon Attracopel’s debut to the public, he immediately sees him as a threat to his reputation, and broadcasts to England that he is a criminal that needs to be taken down. He is also an abusive father towards Sarah, only seeing her as an extension of himself. Later in the story, it is revealed that he has killed dozens of innocent people, including his wife, who was going to report him for his corruption.

  • Abusive Parents: His parents were pretty strict and harsh towards him, which fuelled his attitude today.
  • Cop Killer: Even though he’s a cop himself, he counts because he shoots another cop onscreen, all because he disagreed with him.
  • Dirty Cop: He is very corrupt, as he is willing to do anything for his reputation and power.
  • Dirty Coward: Even though on the outside he is tough and intimidating, he is a complete coward when he is powerless. When his reputation is ruined by his own daughter leaking his collection of crimes, he begs for mercy, and he begs even more when she holds him at gunpoint.
  • Establishing Character Moment: His first scene has him demanding Attracopel be arrested, despite him resolving a public incident and stopping a bank robbery, because he believes only the police have the authority to enforce order. He then shoots one of his own men just for questioning him and ordering the others to cover it up, establishing him as a corrupt Killer Cop.
  • Freudian Excuse Is No Excuse: Just because his parents weren’t very nice to him, it doesn’t justify a single crime he did. In fact, he treated Sarah MUCH WORSE then his parents could ever have treated him.
  • Hate Sink: Let’s see… He is a corrupt officer who only cares about his reputation, is a horrible and abusive father, falsely outed Attracopel as a criminal just for his reputation, and is secretly a serial killer who covers up his murders with false excuses that his victims did something wrong? Not to mention his lack of redeeming qualities? Yup, easily.
  • Killer Cop: He may be the police chief, but he has killed dozens of innocent people as shown in the files Sarah leaked. He also kills one of his fellow cops onscreen all because he disagreed with him. Not to mention his murder of Kyra…
  • It's All About Me: He doesn’t care about anyone except himself, and is obsessed with his reputation.
  • Villainous Breakdown: When he encounters Alex and Ben. Alex calls him out for how the police and vigilantes should be working together, and also tells him that they should be out for justice, not blood, and then calls him out for his ego obsession, which sends him into an angry rant where he starts SHOOTING at them both, and it eventually spirals into a full on fight.
  • Would Hurt a Child: He abused Sarah since she was a child. Not to mention he was completely fine with shooting at Alex and Ben, who are only 18.

    Wolfalco

Wolfalco

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/01225b82_d036_4af4_87fe_ea01c9566d08.jpeg
A scary ass wolf with wings.

You may call me Wolfalco in your brief remaining moments. All humans are the same. All they do is harm the planet, and cause destruction for their own selfish gain! So I am going to make sure that I destroy as many humans as I can, even if it kills me!

Wolfalco is the central villain in the story. He is a sentient wolf and falcon hybrid with water and air powers made by Dr. Twister, who became disgusted by humanities actions, and refused to help Dr. Twister. He became a misanthropic monster who began slaughtering dozens of innocent people, wanting to kill as many humans as he could.

  • Kill All Humans: He hates humans and tries to kill as many as he wants. He expresses several times that he thinks the planet would be a better place without humans.
  • Mix-and-Match Critters: He is a hybrid of wolf and falcon, taking form of a wolf with falcon wings.
  • Sadist: Shows quite a few moments where he enjoys hurting people.
  • Savage Wolves: He is a wolf-falcon hybrid who is ferociously misanthropic and seeks to slaughter all of humanity.
  • Shut Up, Kirk!: After Alex tries giving him a speech about how not all humans are bad, he rejects it.
INNOCENT! THERES NO SUCH THING AS INNOCENT! If someone’s innocent, it means their [sic] yet to do something bad. But they WILL do something bad in the future, unless I kill them. So killing innocents is mandatory, for the sake of this planet. I’m not ruining the world, I’m saving it!
  • Talking Animal: He was given sentience and the ability to talk.
  • Well-Intentioned Extremist: He has a strong hatred for humanity, but it's because he seems to want to genuinely help animals. He shows disgust at what humanity is doing to nature, said he'd free a humans pet kittens and even mentioned he wanted to stop Twister from brainwashing animals.
  • Would Hurt a Child: When it comes to his murderous intent towards humans, children are not exceptions. In the mall, he even directly chases after a child, intending to kill them.

    Dr. Claire Woodward (Unmarked Spoilers

Dr. Claire Woodward

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/13d20d21_0e75_44a4_b108_a78674938b23.jpeg
She’s actually pretty cute…

Dr. Claire Woodward is one of Twister’s top scientists. She is an upbeat, talkative and friendly scientist who helps Tornadite Inc. and Alex out. Just like Dr. Twister, she was secretly plotting to take over London and remake it in favour of intelligence.

  • Affably Evil: She is very polite, friendly and kind. Heck, even when she’s revealed to be a villain, she maintains her friendly attitude.
  • Evil All Along: Just like Dr. Twister, she secretly wanted to steal the energy relic and take over London.
  • Freudian Excuse: She was bullied in her past for being a nerd. Word from the author also states that she was a victim of homophobia when she was younger, as she is pansexual.
  • Nice Girl: She’s very friendly towards others… Except her enemies.
  • Well-Intentioned Extremist: She agrees with Dr. Twister’s views, and genuinely believes what she is doing is the right cause.
  • You Meddling Kids: When she is arrested, she yells that she would’ve gotten away with it if not for those “meddling kids”, to which Leafnet tells her that’s the most generic thing she can ever say before being arrested.

    Dr. Autumn Leafnet (Unmarked Spoilers

Dr. Autumn Leafnet

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/d42cb4c5_0619_4a6c_b329_ddbb6c615122.jpeg
Moody and a mood.

Dr. Autumn Leafnet is one of Twister’s top scientists. She is a cold and gloomy scientist who helps Tornadite Inc. and Alex out. Just like Dr. Twister, she was secretly plotting to take over London and remake it in favour of intelligence.

  • Even Evil Has Loved Ones: She mourns Dr. Twister’s death while she’s in prison.
  • Evil All Along: Just like Dr. Twister, she secretly wanted to steal the energy relic and take over London.
  • Freudian Excuse: She is cold because of how she was treated in her childhood, being bullied for being quiet and a nerd.
  • Jerkass: She can be pretty rude.
  • Ice Queen: She is pretty damn cold towards others.
  • Well-Intentioned Extremist: She agrees with Dr. Twister’s views, and genuinely believes what she is doing is the right cause.

Minor Characters

    Smith and Fredrick

Smith and Fredrick

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/b233c0fa_63c0_4d19_8434_73f4961e1ef4.jpeg
This is Smith.
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/1f28134f_59c1_448d_b124_de528ff10257.jpeg
And this is Fredrick.

Fredrick: WE'RE NOT WHINING YOU RACIST!
Smith: YEAH! WE'RE STOPPING RACISM VIA VIOLENCE AT A HIGH VOCAL VOLUME!!!

Smith and Fredrick are two thugs who claim to be stopping racism. In reality, they are just two crazy idiots who think that something as minor as a white chocolate ice cream sale is racist, and use it as an excuse to antagonise others.

  • Even Bad Men Love Their Mamas: Smith yells for his mother when being arrested.
  • Hot-Blooded: They shout a lot, and do all their ‘liberating’ while screaming at the top of their lungs, due to clearly being a parody of Twitter users.
  • Hypocrite: They use ‘white male’ as an insult to Alex, even though they are both white males.
  • Political Overcorrectness: Exaggerated. These two are the definition of this trope, exaggerated. They think that many things are racist, such as putting white chocolate ice cream on sale, or wearing a white shirt.

    Kyra Roxie

Kyra Roxie

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/1f6790a5_8c00_455f_ba69_7aacfae1cf38.jpeg
Gamer girl who befriended the Chief’s daughter!

Kyra Roxie was a kindhearted gaming youtuber who was best friends with Sarah Sapphirus. Sadly, she was murdered by Chief Harold Kruel, because she was “Distracting Sarah from her work”.

  • Gamer Chick: She’s a gamer girl who even has a YouTube channel!
  • Nice Girl: Sarah describes her as a really nice girl.
  • Posthumous Character: She is already dead before the events of the story.
  • The Scapegoat: After Chief Harold Kruel killed her, he hid the evidence and made up a lie that she charged at him with a knife, and that he only killed her in self defence. Luckily, she had her name cleared after Kruel was exposed.

    Callum Williams

Callum Williams

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/cba032d1_514c_43a4_bde9_399842da96d1.png
You’d think he would’ve cut this behaviour out by now…

Callum Williams is a college student who is a jerk to Alex and Ben.

  • The Bully: He bullies Alex and Ben, even in COLLEGE.
  • Flat Character: Only has two appearances, and it’s just him being a douche.
  • Jerkass: He acts like a jerk towards Alex and Ben, telling them to be “more manly”.
  • Hate Sink: He isn’t very likeable, and has no redeeming qualities either.
