     Astrid Romanivna Moskalenko-Rosenberg

The protagonist of the story, and originally part of the canon before she was cut, Astrid is the cousin of Ocean who decides to investigate the scene of the accident. Her middle and first last name are fanon.

     Penny Lamb

Newly resurrected, Penny is a girl who has been adopted by Astrid's mom after she came back.

     Hank Roberts

An absolute sweetheart and Astrid's boyfriend, as well as a part of the original canon before he was cut, Hank has a condition that has left him unable to walk without a mobility aid. His last name is fanon

     Ezra Lamb

The youngest of the four ghost hunters and Penny's brother who recently reunited with her, Ezra is a 15 year old boy with ADHD who, despite not believing in ghosts, has ghost hunting equipment.

  • Deadpan Snarker: His canonically-flat affect and tone from Theatre/Legoland appear here. Even in fear, he's still nearly consistent with his deadpan along with his quips.

     Ocean O'Connell Rosenberg

The ghost of the Most Successful Girl in Town, Ocean is Astrid's overachieving cousin who is able to communicate with the group through Ezra's spirit box like the other ghosts.

     Noel Gruber

The ghost of the Most Romantic Boy in Town, Noel is the only openly-gay boy in Uranium City.

     Mischa Bachinski

The ghost of the Angriest Boy in Town, Mischa is a Ukrainian refugee who dreamt of becoming a successful rapper, moving to Ukraine, and marrying his fiancée Talia.

     Ricky Potts

The ghost of the Most Imaginative Boy in Town, Ricky is a disabled boy who created an entire story and lore in his head of a planet of cat people.

     Constance Blackwood

The ghost of the Nicest Girl in Town, Constance is a kind-hearted girl who wants to make others feel welcomed.

  • Extreme Doormat: Even in death, Constance is still nice to a fault, but not as much as in the canon.
  • Friendly Ghost: Technically all of them, but Constance Blackwood in particular; she takes her parents' lesson of being hospitable to guests to the afterlife by making Astrid and the others funnel cake and including cups of water with it.
