Portrayed by: Eddie Garcia
"Alam mo ba, na ako ang pumatay sa tatay mo?"
Joaquin's grandfather, and the leader of the Tuazon family's human and drug trafficking organization. He had killed Cardo's biological father years before the story has started, which is one of the reasons why Cardo wanted revenge on him.

  • Bad Boss: Emilio has no love for his criminal underlings, and will not hesitate to murder them if they screw up. This only gets worse once becomes Gustavo, where he orders the deaths of his miners who are not working. He even personally kills one of them.
  • Bait the Dog: Offers Madonna a car in which she can finally escape his grasp. Turns out said car is rigged with explosives, and he detonates them.
  • Dirty Old Man: Was in a relationship with the much younger Madonna.
  • The Don: Of the Tuazon family's human and drug trafficking syndicate.
  • Even Evil Has Loved Ones: Don Emilio's love for his family is one of the only redeeming qualities he has.
    • In his younger years Don Emilio fell in love with Lola Flora, but due to not being Flora's type he was rejected at every opportunity. It's implied that he still has feelings for her in the present day, though it's mostly one-sided due to him killing her son.
    • He genuinely loves his grandaughter, Rachel Tuazon. He tried to spend some time with her, despite his obligations to his syndicate. He is the one that cries the most at her funeral, and wishes that he could've bonded more with her.
  • Evil Is Hammy: Prone to making long and windy statements about putting his plans into action.
  • Evil Old Folks: One of the oldest characters in the show, second only to Lola Flora. Unlike Lola Flora however, Don Emilio is a vile crime lord with very few morals.
  • Eyepatch of Power: As "Gustavo Torralba", he has started wearing an eyepatch. It's implied to be the result of injuries stemming from his previous encounter with Cardo.
  • Flowery Insults: Usually throws one of these in whenever he starts gloating to his enemies.
Emilio: You're nothing but a bunch of ass-lickers!
  • Hellish Copter: He finally dies when Cardo shoots his Helicopter down.
  • I Was Quite the Looker: While it may seem far from it now, Emilio used to be quite attractive during his younger years.
  • Revenge Myopia: By the time he resurfaces as Gustavo, he's seeking Revenge on Cardo for the deaths of Joaquin and Tomas. He doesn't seem to realize that Cardo killed his grandson and son-in-law because they killed his brother and sister-in-law respectively.
  • Shout-Out: His death scene is similar to another FPJ film Kapag Buhay ang Inutang: being blown up as he escapes from the protagonist.
