Main protagonists

Blood

Voiced by: Takeshi Kusao

Blood is an ordinary 15 year old boy boy from Gunrock town who lives with his mother. His father, Leon, has been away recently for an unusually long amount of time. His life is shattered when the town has been attacked by a mysterious demon who took the lives of many townsfolk including his mother. Filled with vengeance, he seeks out to find Lemuria to revive the village and find his father.

• Anime Hair: Required for a hot headed protagonist that uses fire power like him.
• Curtains Match the Window: Brown hair and eyes.
• Disappeared Dad: His father, Leon was absent sometime before the disaster happened. He was actually serving Abyss, Blood finds this out the hard way.

• Hair-Trigger Temper: Very easy to anger, it's strongly implied he acts this way to bottle his inferiority complex.
• Hot-Blooded: Very loud and passionate.
• Jack of All Stats: He is decently strong and decently fast both attack and running wise, although his fireball does have a longer range than the other characters.

• Red Is Heroic: The main color of his clothes.
• Sleeves Are for Wimps: Got to show off those well toned arms.
• Sour Outside, Sad Inside: A big part of his personality is that he's using his abrasiveness to hide the fact he feels he has nothing to himself for anyone, just an inferior version of his father.

Ariel

Voiced by: Aya Hisakawa

A 14 year old princess from Adina Island, she is trained to be able to communicate with water spirits. However, her heart is frozen which makes it difficult for her to express emotions, so she is sent out by the water god to find Lemuria to melt it.

• An Ice Person: Some of her super attacks use ice.
• Badass Adorable: Don't let her cute dainty looks fool you, she has a lot of powers in her hand and can tear you apart with it.
• Curtains Match the Window: Dark blue hair and eyes.
• Emotionless Girl: Her lack of emotion is what lead to the water god asking her to find Lemuria.
• Fragile Speedster: Very fast but also does minimal damage.
• Hime Cut: Represents her royalty.

• Silk Hiding Steel: She seems dainty but has a very strong will.
• Tareme Eyes: The softest eyes of the entire cast.

Kleude

Voiced by: Masaya Onosaka

A 17 year old cat boy from Misread Forest. After his father died when he was younger, he was assigned to take care of his younger brother and the sacred tree that the fairies live in together with his mother. When his mother got injured by a mysterious demon, she is left dying without a known cure. With only a month left before the two red moons meet, desperate to heal her, he seeks out to find Lemuria.

• Fragile Speedster: Runs pretty fast and does minimal damage. However, only his special attack is fast, his normal ones are very slow.
• Hartman Hips: A rare male example.
• Healing Hands: The move he can use when low in health.
• In Touch with His Feminine Side: Very effeminate looking with a sweet if a bit timid personality and a soft effeminate voice.
• Magikarp Power: Very slow awkward attack that barely has any power and are easily interrupted by most enemies with one special attack with a wind up time when it connects at the end. Those special attacks can get very fast when trained up in story mode.
• Momma's Boy: Very much so.

• Shrinking Violet: Has shades of it as he panics when facing the other characters especially when he is requested to stop Abyss. It took some pressure from Lemuria to get him to be brave enough to do it.

Rose

Voiced by: Yuko Mita

A tomboyish 17 years old from Ishtar who lives alone with her younger sister Mary after they ran away from their abusive family. One day after Mary found a dog, there was a fight on what to do with it that caused Mary to run away and get captured by a mysterious man. Rose seeks out Lemuria to track her down.

• Abusive Parents: It's why she and her sister ran away.

• Cool Big Sis: To Mary by the end of the game
• Curtains Match the Window: Green hair and eyes.
• Defrosting Ice Queen: Harsh and hot headed when the game starts, becomes more gentle after saving her sister.
• Hot-Blooded: Very passionate all the time.
• Jack of All Trades: Decent all over like Blood is.

• No Indoor Voice: Her voice is very loud most of the time.

• Tomboy: Easily the most masculine personality-wise of the main characters including the males.
  • Tomboy and Girly Girl: Strong independent tomboy to her timid sister girly girl.
• Tomboyish Ponytail: And she has one of these too.
• Tsundere: Type A familiar type to her sister.
• Younger Than They Look: She's seventeen years old but could pass for a few years older.

Bian

Voiced by: Yukitoshi Hori

A large, muscular 18 year old from Gunrock. He and his father are trying to research about Lemuria to teach to the folks of Gunrock they didn't know yet. When his father died, he decided to seek the legend himself.

• Genius Bruiser: Don't let his big, brawny look fool you, he is very sharp minded.
• Gentle Giant: Very large and also very mellow.

• Mighty Glacier: Very strong to the point even later level enemies can go down easily in a few weak punches, but he is also very slow.
• Sleeves Are for Wimps: His vest shows off his very muscular arms.
• Younger Than They Look: He can be very easily assumed to be way past twenty due to his huge frame and very mature looks, yet he's only eighteen.

Pooly

Voiced by: Yasuhiro Takato

A tiny child like 13 year old boy from Selgio Island. He is very proud of his natural talent, so he is taken in by a tutor to try to humble him while honing his ability. By the beginning of the game he is dispatched to find Lemuria to complete his goal. He is overjoyed by the opportunity.

• Acrofatic: His round frame doesn't hinder him in any way, in fact it makes him even more flexible.
• Ass Kicks You: One of his weak attacks.
• Arrogant Kung-Fu Guy: It's why he was tutored in the first place, it's to make him more humble.

• Bratty Half-Pint: Throws a tantrum very easily, especially if he loses.

• The Gadfly: Likes to act like he isn't listening or aware of what is going on when he is, but he is very bad at hiding it.

• No Indoor Voice: All of his speech consists of very loud screaming.
• Older Than He Looks: Looks more like a very young child despite being thirteen.
• Pintsized Powerhouse: Very tiny but also very powerful.

Nate

Voiced by: Hikaru Midorikawa

A handsome mysterious man of unknown origin working with the army of Ishtar. After his lover, Yura, is sent out to help develop the robot Aquila, he seeks off to find Lemuria to destroy the army behind their back.

• Abusive Parents: The army is this for him, abusing him so he will work for them without compliance. He of course rebels.
• Brooding Boy, Gentle Girl: The brooding boy to Yura's gentle girl.
• Dark and Troubled Past: It's mentioned in his intro that his life mostly consists of being ordered around by the army.
• Luke, I Am Your Father: Baal/Abyss is his mother.
• Mystical White Hair: White haired for his age with a very vague origin he's actually partially a folk from Mount Clome as evident from his mother, Baal/Abyss.

• Supernatural Gold Eyes: His mother also has them.

Aquila

Voiced by: Yuko Mita

A robot developed by the army of Ishtar for battling. They used the heart of a girl, Yura, to power it up, but this backfires when her human side flares up and she runs off to try to find Lemuria to restore her body.

• Brooding Boy, Gentle Girl: Gentle girl to her boyfriend Nate's brooding boy.
• Curtains Match the Window: Brown hair and eyes when she's a human.
• Morality Pet: She's the reason why Nate is still capable of thinking for himself.

• Walking Spoiler: Everything about her true self is known in her story, but is a spoiler for Nate and unknown for everyone else.
