The main character of the story. He was disfigured after being caught in an explosion and now swears revenge against mankind.
- The All-Concealing "I": The story appears to be from the perspective of a deranged madman after he's disfigured. He's not even human to begin with.
- Body Horror: Ends up being disfigured and mutated by an atomic bomb explosion.
- Canon Character All Along: The final line reveals that he is Godzilla.
- Names to Run Away from Really Fast: "Gojira..."
- From Nobody to Nightmare: Lived a peaceful life away from society until he was caught in that explosion.
- Person of Mass Destruction: Somehow manages to demolish an entire city on his own. Not surprising, given he's Godzilla.
