About a third to half of the humor in any given episode of Baywatching is Allison's interpretations and re-characterizations, as well as the wacky voices she gives to each character:
- Captain Thorpe and Lifeguard Old Man only show up to tell the characters (and, by extension, the audience) that they still exist. Lifeguard Old Man sometimes only says "I'm so old!"
- Mitch abuses Hobie, threatening to replace him as he did with the other Hobie from season one.note He also cannot stop talking about food and eating burgers (that often appear from out of nowhere), and even tries to save drowning kids with one.
- Stephanie is a Straw Feminist who needs to always be the smartest person in the room. When she is stranded on an island with Mitch with no food and no sign of help, she groans that she "Must ... correct someone!"
- Garner and Newmie barely change because they are too cool, but Newmie gains a deep voice and Garner isn't an Extreme Doormat to Baywatching!Mitch's selfish antics.
- A lot of the fanservice characters have been exaggerated as:
- Eddie has a squeaky, unmanly voice. He constantly tells everyone "I'm a sex symbol!" and is always getting Amusing Injuries.
- Eyebrows suddenly has a Maurice Chevalier Accent after arguing with his mother in French. He originally sounded like a smug Surfer Dude.
- Cody talks in a lispy Simpleton Voice.
- Summer's Thousand-Yard Stare practically screamed at Allison to give her that confused, childish voice.
- Shaunie has a vitriolic relationship with love interest Eddie. In the shark derby episode, she admits that she would enjoy watching Eddie being eaten alive after falling off a boat.
- Stephanie's sister Caroline has No Indoor Voice and nags her boyfriends.
- The Australians (Trevor and Logan) wear their nationalities like a badge. Logan is more clueless than Trevor at times, and Trevor points out how uncool he is by mentioning the somersault he did in his first episode.
- Neely Capshaw's voice reminds the Baywatching audience of Tim Curry.
- Jimmy Slader's voice is a mixture of confused and Dull Surprise.
- Donna Marco is The Ditz.
- Griff only communicate by saying "I'm Griff!" bordering on Pokémon Speak.
- Jill tries to stay relevant, even though it doesn't help her fate. Everywhere she goes, people remind her that she's not a real character.
- Harvey doesn't get this much, but he borrows Allison's description of him in his last appearance:Harvey: MY SA— [falls off a pier] OH, I'M THE WORST!
- Craig often has Werther's Originalsnote on hand because of how old and uncool he is.
- John D. Cort is full of pride and has the catchphrase: "That's why they call me John [word beginning with D] Cort!"
