Ask Smol Diamond
is a Tumblr based ask blog themed around Steven Universe. The premise is that Yellow Diamond, along with White and Blue later on, has been somehow turned tiny and weak, and now they all live on the same planet as the Crystal Gems, on Earth.
As of August 1st, 2018, the blog is undergoing a reboot that returns to only Yellow.

Pre-Reboot
- Adaptational Wimp: The Diamonds have been 'smolified', turning them as tiny as Steven, with a corresponding decrease in their powers.
- Alternate Universe Fic: Aside from the whole "miniature Diamonds" thing, in the backstory, Pink Diamond didn't disguise herself as Rose Quartz, who is a seperate character who bubbled her.
- Art Shift: Not unheard of.
- Didn't Think This Through:
- When the Diamonds have Steven heal Pink Diamond and she begins to reform, White realizes Pink will be normal sized. Cue Pink smashing through the roof.
- Pink's attempts to get out of the roof only wind up creating a bigger hole. Something which Pearl warned her about.
- Early-Installment Weirdness: In early installments, Blue Diamond was implied to be the Big Bad behind White and Yellow becoming smol. Later, she gets smolified herself and the real mastermind turns out to be Blue Pearl.
- Excuse Plot: According to the first post, Yellow Diamond has to run the ask blog in exchange for shelter from the Crystal Gems.
- Fusion Dance: Yellow and White Diamond try fusing into Brown Diamond. They only go up to a little less than Garnet's height.
- Yellow, Blue, and White fuse into Aquamarine Diamond to free Pink Diamond.
- Green Thumb: Pink Diamond's power.
- Harmless Villain: When the Diamonds are roughly as tall and powerful as Peridot, you can't really take them seriously anymore. White and Blue seem to have given up trying to intimidate people entirely.

Hilarious in Hindsight: Pink Diamond is the only normal-sized diamond, with all the rest being turned smol. In canon, Pink Diamond is the one who's tiny compared to the others, to the point where Yellow Diamond can pick her up with one hand. - Light 'em Up: White Diamond's power.
- Making a Splash: Blue Diamond's power.
- Oh, Crap!: When White, Blue, and Yellow find out Pink Diamond would be normal size instead of small.
- Not-So-Harmless Villain: White however is implied to still be very powerful.
- Playing with Fire: Yellow Diamond's power.
- The Starscream: Blue Pearl is responsible for Blue Diamond being smolified.
- Wham Episode: These posts, introducing White and Blue, respectively, to the "Loser Squad".
- This update has the Diamonds free Pink Diamond from the Burning Room.
