- The Bus Came Back: Due to this blog starting before the fourth installment, we would sometimes get a post showing a character returning.
- Catapult Nightmare: Captain Falcon has one when Racer X tells him that Sakurai Nerfed him.
- The Door Slams You: Cap did this to Lucina on accident while he asked where the rocket boots he wanted are.
- Friendly Enemy: Bowser will at least try to be civil towards Mario. Link and Ganondorf? Not so much.
- He Who Must Not Be Seen: We have yet to see Captain Falcon's full face.
- Hero Worship: Lucina, to the point she is not worthy to be in the presence of Marth. He thinks otherwise.
- I Was Told There Would Be Cake: Captain Falcon would like his rocket boots now, please?
- Me's a Crowd: Both Toon Link and Regular Link make appearances. According to Zelda, they get along.
- Non-Standard Character Design: Some of the characters don't look how they do in the Smash games.
