A subpage for the Vocaloid awesome music page.

  • Another great "Black Rock Shooter" cover would be Choucho's. Her voice is stunningly perfect for the song.
  • "Boss Death", covered by the Valshe, is better than Miku's (especially the PV).
  • JoyDreamer and aFlowerSmiles's English cover of the "Synchronicity Trilogy" is absolutely perfect in every sense of the word. The translation flows exactly in time with the original and both singers are perfect in tone, pitch, and emotion.
  • Elly's voice is simply powerful in "Your Body Temperature".
  • Liqu@'s cover of "Shinitagari" is filled with emotion and the blunt truth of the song is completely awesome.
  • The duo Fantastic Youth (comprising singer Onyu and rapper LowFat) have some awesome covers. Onyu's voice in particular is (pun intended) fantastic.
    • Their cover of "BRING IT ON" by Giga is just brimming with energy.
    • Their cover of "Dance! VR Dance!", with added rap parts and all that goodness.
  • The raw power and emotion of Fye's cover of Love Is War has to be heard to be believed. She's also done an absolutely gorgeous cover of Last Night, Good Night.
  • Vasreiu's cover of Pane Dhiria, especially the distinctly different vocal style she uses for the Hanamogera parts.
  • Hitori's cover of Gekokujou is impressive.
  • yuyoyuppe-P has a penchant for making heavy metal songs (all of them VERY epic), but one that really takes the cake is Noir's version of "Leia". Also Doubie's version has been downright showered with obsessive praise in the comments section.
  • Ritsuka's cover of Chocolate Train is sweet and soft sounding, which arguably better than the original.
  • Ron's cover of "Fukkireta" is super addictive.
  • Mio's cover of Rin Kagamine's "Regret Message" is heart-wrenching at its best and it will have you breaking out tears from the sheer emotion put into the singing and voice acting.
  • Ttubi's cover of "Sky High", a Teto Kasane original. Her ability to reach high notes will blow you away.
  • Microsoft Sam's cover of "Last Night, Good Night". Amazing - and actually heartrending.
  • Gero's voice fits "Lynne" perfectly.
  • Glutamine's cover of Lynne is pretty emotional as well.
  • Jurelskit's mashup cover of apolxcore's acoustic cover of "Saihate" is absolutely stunning. The timing of some notes are uneven, but that is inevitable when making a mashup. These girls blend like angels and will give you tingles.
  • "Depression of the Young Literati" is originally sung by Miku, but when you hear Hokke's version you know it was made for him to sing.
  • Nene's cover of Hatsune Miku's "The Moon of the West River". Even if you're not fluent in Mandarin, you have to admit her singing is just lovely.
  • This rendition of Paradichlorobenzene by Faneru, Jack and Asamaru. Isn't it just the sexiest thing ever?
  • "Blindness" by F9, one of the best from her.
  • The Momone cover of Rolling Girl can induce chills with her smooth voice amply capturing the song's emotion.
  • While Rockleetist has retired from covering Vocaloid songs and deleted all of her covers off of her YouTube channel, some are still available on NicoNico or fans' channels.
  • Rockleetist's "Double lariat" may be even better than the original.
  • Yet another fantastic English dubber, SirHamnet is notable in that she can pull off both feminine and masculine vocals flawlessly. You will not find a more perfect English trap singer and voice for Rin and Len's songs. For example:
    • Her cover of Spice! is absolutely spot on, capturing the tone and sensuality of the original perfectly. It also shows off her lower vocal range quite nicely.
    • Her cover of Alluring Secret ~Black Vow~ is absolutely flawless. The translation is beautiful and flowing, both Rin and Len's parts are damn-near perfect, and the emotion she puts into it really makes it exceptional among other fantastic English covers of Vocaloid songs.
  • The English dub of "ReAct" with Miku-Tan as Miku, Anba-Len as Len, and Kodachii as Rin is just plain awesome. As is its predecessor, "Acute", performed entirely in English, by singers who aren't native speakers of the language. Mes, Blanc and Nanasi really do it justice.
  • Nero's cover of Just a Game. As one commenter said, "His voice can make straight men gay."
  • This "Kagerou Days" Cover somehow manages to make the song even more disturbing. But it's amazingly sung and the PV is gorgeous (when it's not grotesque).
  • Most of Choumiryou's work, particularly his covers of Ada-Gaeshi Syndrome and All's Well on the Cherry Blossom Fronts. He has a nearly peerless range, able to swing from the lowest end of baritone, to the higher points of a tenor without missing a beat, as best exemplified with his cover of This is the Happiness and Peace of Mind Committee.
  • Lizz's cover of "Jutenija". Her voice is perfect for the atmosphere of the song, making it possibly better than the original. And her version of Answer is one of the best.
  • A fandub of "Toeto" by Laurel keeps the cutesy feel of the song but with English lyrics.
  • Kran's English dub of Senbonzakura is both well-written and well-sung; an excellent adaptation.
  • An UTAU cover of Synchronicity sung by Matsudappoiyo and Matsudappoine. Some commenters have even said it sounds better than the original Rin/Len version.
  • Zoozbuh's rendition of Cremation Melody is one of the few English covers you can find, and it's awesome. He has a lot of good dubs, but special mention goes to his cover of Cantarella ~ Grace Edition.~
  • If you liked LUVORATORRRRRY!, check out Reol's cover. She brings in rapper and fellow utaite nqrsenote  to add his own original verses to the song's musical interludes, just to ramp up the awesome.
  • Bringing in a wild rapper to spice up her covers and fill out instrumental breaks is practically Reol's MO, even for songs she didn't help write. Perhaps the two most notable examples are her cover of Isshinfuran where out of the trio of herself, nqrse and ill.bell, she's the only one bothering with the original lyrics, while the other two are rapping so fast the kinetic typography of the video is struggling to keep up at times, and Bring It Onnote  in which the rap breakdown from the original is replaced with Giga-P's own (similarly Motor Mouth-heavy) verse that Reol actually joins him for.
  • Thought "Drop Pop Candy" was good with Rin and Luka? Watch the human version with Reol and Giga-P. It's mindblowing.
  • This duet cover of "Witch Hunt" by Fukurou and Mac is godly. It sounds like an all-male choir sang every last part of the song, but no— it was just two guys. They're that good.
  • ECHO by Crusher-P is awesome already. Then Seiryuudo combined 8 covers, the original, and a guitar cover to amp both the awesome and Nightmare Fuelling elements of the original.
  • The vocals on Rib's cover of "Sacred Spear Explosion Boy" really heighten the...er, frustration the main character is going through, all while keeping its sexually charged atmosphere. Underbar's version is softer, but keeps the same atmosphere.
  • This English cover of "Doki Doki Yuri Gakuen" by CinnamonPunch as Miku and HAN0N1viBrtiannia as Rin. Both sound wonderful, the latter sounds adorable and the former's voice is beautiful.
  • Kylee Henke is known more for her Homestuck songs, but her acoustic cover of "Alice" is so hauntingly soft and gentle.
  • Mafumafu may have a few Vocaloid compositions under his belt, but as an utaite he has more than a couple good covers:
    • His rendition of "The Lost One's Weeping" is powerful, and brings poor Mamoru alive with his youthful tones.
    • "Ikanaide" is already sad on its own, but he somehow makes it worse with his soft but emotional vocals. Especially with the hopeless little "Don't go..." at the end.
    • "Jailbreak" is another good one, with his voice matching the energy of the song.
    • His Chururira Churirara Daddadda cover brings so much energy to the already wonderful song.
    • He more than keeps up with the frenzied pace of Kemu's "Dear Doppelgänger", hitting the high notes perfectly and even surpassing the energy of the original.
    • His cover of Neru's "The Disease Called Love" runs the gamut of quiet desperation and expressive shrieking vocals, with the requisite awesome mixing for the song.
    • His cover of Neru's "Terminating the World" is the first result that comes up when you search the song's official Japanese name, and for good reason; it's another expressive cover where Mafumafu gets to flaunt his vocal range.
  • Touyu is a solid utaite with a very distinctive, high-pitched voice. He can also pull off an amazing Motor Mouth when needed.
    • If you're a fan of the creepiness of "Merry Bad End" by Mafumafu, Touyu's cover has got you covered. Special mention goes to the high-pitched laugh at the end.
    • His rendition of Neru's "The Lost One's Weeping" hits all the high notes effortlessly for a perfect depiction of desperation.
    • He more than keeps up with the speed in Pinnochio-p's "Rotten Heresy and Chocolate" and "Feast of Absurdity", adding a playful twist as well.
  • The Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra's Miku Symphony concerts consist of absolutely beautiful orchestrated covers of many popular Vocaloid songs (and even a few new ones made specifically for the concerts). For just one example of how wonderful these covers are, this incredibly epic rendition of Cendrillon should give an idea.
