Awesome Music / Periphery

Go To

  • "Racecar". All the 15 minutes 21 seconds of it, especially the instrumental parts right before the last chorus steps in.
  • "Icarus Lives", one of Periphery's most recognizable riffs.
  • "Jetpacks Was Yes!" and its purely awesome guitar solo.
  • "Have a Blast" provides a tasty orchestral intro, thrashing verses and Uncommon Time bridges.
  • "Facepalm Mute" is one of the few times Spencer has contributed a full song to the band and it's awesome for that reason alone.
  • The final part of "Luck as a Constant" with brilliant dual guitar solo work by Misha and Jake.
  • "Erised" has a guest solo from Jake's Cool Uncle John Petrucci.
  • The whole Clear EP showing off the different writing styles by all the band members.
  • Both parts of Juggernaut with special credits to "Rainbow Gravity", "22 Faces", "Psychosphere", "Omega" and "Stranger Things". These tracks (and others too) are notable for combining downtuned groovy djent chugging with the soul music vocal style of Spencer.
  • The crazy awesome main riff of "Motormouth".
  • "Reptile". The entirety of it. The song is a journey and gets more melodic as it goes on, with truly heavy parts scattered here and there.
