A franchise revolving around Battle Rapping is guaranteed to have plenty of bangers.

Buster Bros!!!

  • "Ore ga Ichiro", Ichiro's first solo, is a high-energy and Hot-Blooded Boastful Rap that cements his place as the leader of the Buster Bros.
  • "Sensenfukoku", Jiro’s first solo, is a rock tune with aggressive guitar riffs and lyrics emphasizing his Hot-Blooded and borderline Blood Knight nature. Try not to get pumped up listening to it!
  • "Ikebukuro West Game Park", Buster Bros' first group track, and a good one at that, with an insanely catchy melody featuring energetic beats, an aggressive guitar solo in between verses, lots of call and response parts in the bros' verses and the refrains (including the responses which make you feel like standing in a crowd) and Ichiro beatboxing in the middle of all of this.
  • "Ohayou Ikebukuro" is a group song done in the style of a radio show. The chorus in particular is quite catchy, and it’s overall a fun, lighthearted song.
  • "Requiem", Saburo’s Darker and Edgier second solo, samples the "Dies irae" from Giuseppe Verdi's Requiem. Combine that with lyrics revolving around Saburo developing a god complex, and you get one of the biggest standouts of the solo songs.
  • "Break the Wall", Ichiro's 2nd solo, manages to combine his intent to...well, break the (Chuohku) wall...with a catchy disco-influenced tune, motivational lyrics and a call-and-response section.
  • "Re:start!!!", the Ikebukuro 2nd division rap battle song, proves the Buster Bros can make sentimental tracks work just as well as their high-energy ones.
  • "Ikebukuro West Block Party" lives up to its name, with another fun call-and-response and a catchy chorus.

MAD TRIGGER CREW

  • "Shinogi (Dead Pools)" is a homage to Kendrick Lamar's "Swimming Pools (Drank)", but the fandom more or less unanimously agrees that Riou's verses are the best parts of the song.
  • The aggressive sounds of the 2nd division rap battle song, "Hunting Charm", prove Mad Trigger Crew are not to be messed with.
  • Even though it has some lines which sound like Narm Charm out of context like "Say hello to my little friend...these damn roaches!" and "The sea is my scent", the jazzy sounds of Scarface make up for it in sheer cool factor.

Fling Posse

  • "Stella" is the highlight of the Enter the Hypnosis Microphone album with its memorable tone (Gentaro’s aggressive verse particularly stands out), cinematic feel, and epic lyrics. It's telling that a lot of fanarts of Fling Posse as depicted in Stella started popping not a week from its release. The release for its gorgeous lyric video generated a lot of hype in the fandom, and for a good reason.
  • "Pink-Colored Love" is significantly darker in tone than "drops", what with Ramuda’s ominous rapping in the beginning, the overall glitch aesthetic of the song, and the tear-jerking lyrics of the second half, which revolves around how Ramuda’s days are numbered since he’s been written off as useless by the Party of Words and is being left to die, but he’s genuinely grateful for the memories he made with Fling Posse. Not unlike "Stella", this song sparked a lot of fanart.
  • Fans were wondering how "Stella" could be topped, but then came "Black Journey"...with its themes of Fling Posse going on an adventure together and Ramuda using his deep voice in a song for the first time, it builds on the progression of both "Stella" and "Pink-Colored Love".

Matenro

  • "Papillon" is a light-hearted fun, relaxing break from the usual tone of Matenro. The lyric video emphasizes the 'working adults taking a break from work' feel and makes you feel like you are taking a break yourself.
  • "Champagne Gold" and "Don't Stop the Party", Hifumi's solos, are really fun to sing along to (even if you don't know most of the lyrics) and fit right at home in a night club.
  • "TOMOSHIBI", with its title's meaning of "light", is a song about Shinjuku supporting each other through thick and thin. It reminds people there is hope even in the darkest of times, which fits all the more when you remember it was first revealed on stage during the 2nd division rap battle, which was heavily affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Dotsuitare Honpo

  • Regardless of how you might feel about Rei, you gotta admit that his first solo, "FACES", is pretty awesome and does a good job of establishing his sinister and threatening character, standing out among Sasara and Rosho’s solos with its more aggressive tone.

Bad Ass Temple

  • Kuko’s first solo, "Sougyaran BAM", has been lovingly compared to aerobics music. Try not to dance along with it, we dare you.
  • Jyushi's first solo, "Moonlight Shadow" is an exhilirating Visual Kei metal track that makes you feel the grandness of Jyushi's persona. It is generally seen as one of the standout songs in Hypmic in general.

Other

  • "Femme Fatale", a Villain Song for the Party of Words that was bundled with the limited-edition version of the official guidebook. Just like the ladies themselves, the song is very domineering, aggressive, and in-your-face, and if you thought it wasn’t awesome enough already, Giga and Reol worked on it.
  • From the last episode of the anime, "Love Dimension" by Secret Aliens is catchy, coupled with the excellent performances of their voice actors. It helps that it is produced by m-flo.
