Awesome Music / Hamster & Gretel

Go To

Hamster & Gretel is created by one of the co-creators of Phineas and Ferb and Milo Murphy's Law, so it is bound to have some awesome ditties as well.

  • The theme song is a very jazzy, upbeat and action-packed track that harkens back to the theme songs of classic superhero shows.

Season 1

  • Kevin and Gretel's duet "Ropa Vieja" is a neat salsa in which they express what they learned about family tradition.
  • Fred's song "Don't Steal From The Banks" from "Cheer Cheer Bang Bang" is a real bop due to it resembling an authentic cheer song, and Fred uses her deadpan voice whenever she's singing.
  • Gretel's "It's My Best Friend Bailey's Birthday" from "Birthday Besties" is incredibly catchy and demonstrates how much Gretel cares about her best friend as well as the sheer amount of energy and enthusiasm Gretel possesses. You can tell her voice actor put a lot of energy into it to capture Gretel's character.
  • Although Abuelita Gomez has a lot of strict rules, her song "Abuelita's Rules" is very catchy.
  • "How You Feel About Me" is a lovely song in which Kevin expresses his feelings for Hiromi, and his distress for not knowing if she even feels the same way towards him.
  • It's a show from the same universe as Phineas and Ferb with quite a Rogues Gallery for the heroes to face; of course there's a couple Villain Songs in the soundtrack:
    • La Cebolla's song, aptly named "La Cebolla", is a saucy tune in which she explains her origin story and that she got the superpower to talk to onions, helped by Karina La Voz's singing prowess.
    • "Neighslayer Rap Battle" has Gretel and the Neighslayer spitting bars against each other. If you ever wanted a rap battle between Dan Povenmire's daughter and Thomas Sanders, this is the closest you'll get.
    • Belle gets her own Villain Song as well: "Tearing You Down" has a mean beat and some mean rhymes perfectly fit for a mean girl like her.
