Awesome Music / Gundam Battle Assault 2

Go To

One of the reasons people keep coming back to these games are the godly songs that make every Gundam fight a match for the ages.

The Battle Master/The Battle Master 2/Battle Assault 1
Despite being three different games, they all share the same kick-ass soundtrack baring a few different tracks.
  • Though it was unfortunately cut from Battle Assault, the intro theme to The Battle Master 2 is a rocking tune that is sure to get you excited for what the Original Generation has to offer.
  • Mercury Promenade's theme is an intense track that fits his heroic-militaristic persona as he pilots the Zeta and RX-78 Gundams. The fact that it fits both Amuro and Camille doesn't hurt either.
  • Honey-B's theme is a surprisingly upbeat track that showcases her and Judau Ashta's natures despite them piloting the Full-Armor ZZ Gundam.
  • LLoyd Nichol's theme is a swaggering jazz theme that fits the charismatic nature of Char Aznable. Too bad it's out of place in the context of Denim.
  • Rachel Aiphath's theme is regally haunting, befitting of her being a vengeful widow, is also equally befitting to the cunning Paptimus Scirocco.
  • Keiji Date's theme fits the Street Fighter parody pilot with a song that wouldn't sound out of place in a Marvel VS Capcom game. It was one of the few songs brought back for Battle Assault 2's docks stage.
  • Gallus Goldine's theme is powerful and aggressive for a mid-boss, much like the Big Zam he pilots.
  • Symeon's theme is fast-paced, frantic, and easily one of the best songs in The Battle Master 2 AND Battle Assault 2 as you stare down the Neue Ziel in your Mobile Suit before the upcoming final battle. The fact that it's shared with Anavel Gato makes it all the more epic.
  • The Battle Master's Stein H. Schlichin's theme, despite being far less known compared to Symeon's, is still a rocking power metal track regardless, and shows the differences in the two pilots for the Neue Ziel.
  • Maria Nichol's theme is haunting and much slower-paced compared to the other battle tracks, but much like the Psycho Gundam Mk-III itself, it does not mess around. The thing's an SNK Boss for a reason, and this song will let you know how futile your struggles are, and just to drive the point home, it was adopted by the Dark Gundam in Battle Assault 2.
  • Pixie's theme is an epic track filled with choirs, bells, and a guitar melody that makes it worth the extra struggle in the final battle against the Hydra Gundam. No one had any complaints when it showed up again in Battle Assault 2.
  • The Staff Roll is a beautiful ending melody that fits the Bittersweet Ending nature of The Battle Master 2. Too bad it was also cut from the western release.

    Battle Assault 2
  • The main theme is considered legendary by fans of the game, showing how serious Bandai and Natsume were in developing it. The options and fighter select variants are also groovy and blood-pumping in their own ways.
  • The victory theme can be cathartic to listen to, especially after a tough fight against a grueling opponent. "Wealth and glory to the winner" indeed!
  • The satellite stage theme is an epic track that fits the beautiful background, and is equally fitting to the final battle between the Wing Zero Custom and the Epyon in Heero's Street Mode.
  • The city stage theme is a smooth techno track that would sound right at home in a Mega Man X game.
  • The Gundam Arena stage theme perfectly fits the G Gundam stage with a song that oozes fair fight energy.
  • The ruined colony stage theme is an excellent song that sets the "grand finale" mood, especially with its use in Amuro's Street Mode.

Mobile Suit Gundam SEED: Battle Assault/Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny
Despite being on weaker hardware and focusing on only one series in particular, the composers were still able to put out rocking tunes.
  • The intro and title themes to SEED: Battle Assault are good by themselves, but when played back-to-back, becomes an epic melody that shows you'll be in a good time regardless on your thoughts on SEED.
