Awesome Music / Glitchtale

Go To

Glitchtale uses lots of music, and has its own soundtrack primarily composed by the artist NyxTheSheild. It's awesome, as one could tell.

Beware unmarked spoilers.

  • "Finale?!" is a nice rendition of "Finale", and adds in that extra terror of fighting Chara.
  • "Hopes and Dreams Will Save the World" is an awesome song fitting the final battle between Chara and Asriel.
  • "Prepare Yourself" is a fun little theme that gets your heart pumping and definitely prepares you for...
  • "Bring It On!" There are no words that explain this song, it's a great song befitting Frisk's determination.
  • "Embodiment of a Yellow Devil" is a great theme that fits Alphys, and hits all the right notes for our nerdy friend.
  • "Vantablack", Gaster's fight theme, is an awesome theme fitting the man who speaks in hands.
  • "The Undying" features leitmotifs from both "Embodiment of a Yellow Devil" and "Battle Against a True Hero", which makes this song ALL the more awesome.
  • "True LOVE", Genocide Frisk's "theme", is a messed up reprise of "Bring It On" that fits Frisk embracing their Genocidal Tendencies.
  • "Blood And Bone", created by Rush Garcia, is a terrifying but appropriately epic theme heard as the HATE-corrupted Sans attacks Frisk and Papyrus. In addition, it contains several melodies from other Undertale themes — "His Theme", "Megalovania", "Bonetrousle", "Heartache"... it creates a tense and exciting atmosphere that'll keep you on the edge of your seat.
  • "A Welcoming Smile" is a very creepy but fitting theme that defines the main Big Bad of Season 2.
  • "Bete Noire", an exciting but still creepy remix of "A Welcoming Smile" that adds more chaos and creepy to the already creepy and psycopathic Betty.
  • "Fearless Terror", a new theme revolving around Betty's true form, is a very metal but still unnerving song that really captures the skill Betty has, and the fear she invokes.
  • "My Last Charade", a song not created by Nyx The Shield but instead by Nevan Dove, is one of the best tracks in the series. It perfectly captures the emotion of Frisk's death scene, along with them sadly transferring all of their memories to Chara so the first fallen child can become the protagonist. Not to mention how fitting the name is: Frisk needed to lie one last time so Chara wouldn't stop them from going along with their plan: this was their last charade.
  • "Metal, Metal Crusher", a great remix of Undertale's own "Metal Crusher" that captures Mettaton's style and grace while also giving us a great fight theme.
  • "NEO Fear" is a rocking remix of both "Metal, Metal Crusher" and "Fearless Terror" that really captures the grandeur and awesome that is the fight between Mettaton NEO and Betty.
  • "Bonestrife", a remix of "Bonetrousle" that gives Papyrus a great fight theme, and really brings out how willing Papyrus is to perform his duties.
  • "Dreemurrs United" plays for Asgore and Toriel taking on Betty. It mixes in elements of the themes from both their boss fights, with one notable element being the parts that incorporate Asgore's. His infamously somber and reluctant theme becomes fierce and heroic as the King of Monsters fights a battle he truly believes in.
  • "Embodiment of a True Hero" is a truly epic and fitting remaster of "Battle Against a True Hero" with hints and mixes of both "The Undying" and "Embodiment of a Yellow Devil" that really gets your blood pumping.
  • "I've Come This Far" is used for Chara's fight against Hate. While not featuring any leitmotifs associated with Chara or Asriel, it still does an amazing job at conveying the emotion between the two siblings and is a great song for the fight between the two.
  • The masterpiece that is "Ascended". Not only is this music so great that it had to be split into three parts, but it features the multiple leitmotifs of Gaster across the Glitchtale Series from "Entry Number 17" to "Vantablack" while also perfectly capturing the descending sanity of W.D Gaster during the fight. Also, it provides a kick-ass music track to an already amazing fight scene.
  • "Saving the World" caps off the final battle between Chara, Asriel, and HATE, kicking off the moment the tables turn in the heroes' favor and following all the way until HATE is finally defeated.
