- Most of the soundtrack applies, courtesy of the Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra.
- Special mention goes to "-SHOKO-", for being both incredibly awesome and incredibly tear-jerking.
- "Anguish", for being simple yet effectively emotional.
- "Flowing Tears", because that guitar.
- "Mark Sein". Whenever it plays, something awesome for protagonists (or horrifying from the enemies) will follow.
- Any of the songs provided by angela:
- The opening theme to the original series, "Shangri-La", gratuitous tremolo aside.
- The ending theme to the original series, "Separation", can be especially tear-jerking in the episodes that end with deaths. The piano version, as well.
- Right of Left:
- The ending theme, "Peace of Mind", which is almost guaranteed to leave you in tears.
- "Hatenaki Monologue" (Endless Monologue) of the same, played while the crew of the L Plan slowly descends into desperation is another powerful yet tear-jerking song.
- The opening of Exodus, "Exist", and the ending, "An'ya Koro". The former especially, adding that extra dose of awesome to the battle in episode 7.
- The insert song used in episode 9 of Exodus, "Sono Toki, Soukyuu e", may very well be even more epic than the opening. Emphasized more by the Moment of Awesome it's accompanying.
- "Aisuru koto", the ending theme for episode 17 of Exodus, is both beautiful and heartbreaking, as it plays during Canon's last moments.
- The epic new opening for Exodus, "Dead or Alive", as well as the foreboding new ending, "Horizon".
