Awesome Music / Dragon Ball Z

  • Perfect Cell's Theme sounds like an evil techno/metal fusion. If only they actually played this version in the show. That said, the version they do have in the show that loops over and over is an ear worm.
  • Hironobu Kageyama's "Unmei no Hi: Tamashii tai Tamashii" (translated as "Day of Destiny ~Spirit vs. Spirit") was played during Gohan's SSJ2 Transformation, and even amongst those who are more familiar and/or prefer the dub appreciate its value.
  • Vegeta's Hell's Bells and Super Saiyan Theme are easily the most recognizable themes in all of the English Soundtrack, since they always play whenever something epic happens in the show, whether it's Vegeta or non-Vegeta related. They're also awesome tracks on their own.
  • The Super Saiyan 3 Power Up Theme. Yet another theme that always plays when something epic happens and is a great standalone theme.
  • Cristina D'Avena performed the Italian rendition of "What's my Destiny" from Dragon Ball Z. It starts out Bedroom Pop-ishy, and then she starts singing faster as the beat speeds up, and it sounds wonderful. Not to mention the beautiful echoes at the end!
