"I hate video game music and I want to drown myself in this soundtrack."
Stacey Henley, "Cassette Beasts Preview", TheGamer.com

  • All the battle themes are awesome, being energetic, rocking tunes that inspire you to give it all you've got. It gets even better when the lyrics kick in upon fusing with your partner, providing another dimension of awesome as they sound off about the hardcore fight that's going on.
  • "Wherever We Are Now" evokes a feeling of nostalgia in listeners that shouldn't even be there yet.
  • "The Stations Beneath" is dark, brooding, and conveys a feeling of dread. Whatever you're looking for down here, you might not like what you find...
  • ...leading right into "Archangel Encounter" once you do find it. As a comment pointed out, 39 seconds in, "the beats and the [quiet] tone [feels] like something in [pressure], like heart attack, nauja [sic], etc, like something bad is [gonna happen]."
  • "Same Old Story" is the first battle song you hear the lyrics to. A jamming electric guitar and synth back the words that slide in when you first fuse, lending an energy to the boss fights that gives you immense satisfaction when you finally defeat the boss.
  • "Like Chimeras" is a grim rhythm describing the folly of fighting alone, and encourages The Power of Friendship and Fusion to overcome the powerful Rouge Fusions.
  • The Ranger Captains' battle theme, "Face Down", gives players a sense of determination with the lyrics when fused, and you can hear its leitmotifs in "Captain Encounter (Friendly)" and "Captain Encounter (Hostile)".
  • "Arrow of Time", as the Final Boss theme of the game, is an energetic song with a strong feeling of your bonding with your partners as well as determination when you and all your partners fight against Aleph Null together. Later, when you fuse into Morgante Gestalt, it gets a slower reprise that is equally awesome.
  • "Your Inception", a lyrical version of the Lenna's Inception theme sung from the perspective of the Superboss Lenna, encourages the party and the players alike to find their own path and strive for unparalleled excellence in whatever they try.
