- Rewind YouTube Style, a massive conglomeration of internet stars from Freddie Wong to Smosh to Felicia Day, featuring PSY. It made over 7 million views in less than 24 hours. Within 4 months it was at nearly 110 million.
- What Does 2013 Say?, which is definitely a case of Sequel Escalation done right, as best shown by Gavin Free and Daniel Gruchy of The Slow Mo Guys doing their usual thing while leaping in front of an explosion from a moving trailer.
- Turn Down for 2014, with special guest appearances by late night anchors such as Stephen Colbert, John Oliver, and Conan O'Brien watching as a rewind flag passes by their sets (with Conan even racing across his own set with one).
- The whole idea of YouTube Rewind (specifically 2012-2018 so far) could be seen as awesome - it's a big collaboration of several YouTubers (and celebrities) hanging out with each other, and celebrating YouTube of that year. Even if you personally didn't like that Rewind, or any of them, it's a pretty awesome idea at any rate.
