Cue the Portals music and Avengers Ass… No wait I mean To Me My X-Men
- Storm’s battle with Death in a first blood match. The loser gets eaten by a horde of vampires. Storm realizes her powers have been muted and Death makes the mistake of thinking she is weak due to this. Storm makes quick work of the highly experienced mutant to the point that he resorts to his Deadly Gaze which she reflects back at him with her blade. She shanks him as he succumbs to his own powers allowing the horde to finish him off.
- Gorgon vs White Sword. The score is is 18-6 in Arakko’s favor, and the penultimate match is a fight to the death. White Sword decides to use his powers to summon his army to fight in order to weaken Gorgon. This Loophole ends up biting him in the ass as Gorgon takes out 13 of them before White Sword decides to do it himself. Since it’s a fight to the death, this earns Krakoa 13 points, putting them ahead of Arakko 18-19. White Sword kills Gorgon bringing them to a tie but Gorgon does go out turning the tables and saving Krakoa from a landslide loss.
- With all hope seemingly lost, Cyclops reaches out to Magik telepathically and asks her to kick open the door for the X-Men. She responds by opening a gigantic portal large enough for the entire Peak station to come through in a teleportation feat that puts the portals scene in Avengers: Endgame to shame.
- Most of the experienced heroes of Krakoa leap into action in a giant splash page as Jean yells the classic line 'To me, my X-Men.' With this, the heroes finally have the villains on the ropes, if only temporarily. The husband wife-duos of of Gambit-Rogue and Cyclops-Jean tear it up together while the long-range specialists Domino, Bishop, Gwenpool, and Dani Moonstar take down the invulnerable giant crocodile Pogg-ur-Pogg.
- Apocalypse rips the Annihilation helmet off of Genesis and puts it on himself. After being called weak and soft by his wife and children, he shows the strength of will to overcome its influence, surrendering on behalf of Arakko and ending the war with 2 words. He proves to his family that there are other ways of demonstrating strength than simply fighting non-stop and earns their respect after being dismissed as a weakling for the entire event.
- For all Saturnyne's manipulations, her own greed and pride meant that she could never get what she really wanted: Brian Braddock. And when she used a magic spell to resurrect the Captain Britain Corps, her lust meant that she accidentally brought it back full of his SISTER as the members. The last shot is of her sitting despondently on her throne. Secure politically, but living in frustration and getting what she deserves.
