Awesome / Wonder Woman (1975)

• The transformation sequence from Diana Prince into Wonder Woman is now so well associated with the character that it notable to reflect that Wonder Woman existed in the comics for over 30 years before Lynda Carter invented it for the show. On the one hand, it solved the problem of having the lead actress disrobing in prime time in The '70s. But it did it in such an awesome way that combined femininity with the necessary drama and anticipation that Wonder Woman would never be the same.
• Lynda Carter risked her life doing a stunt — hanging outside a helicopter. Producers and her insurers surely were not pleased, but the scene was kept in the following opening credits for a reason.
