The power of Space Jesus compels you!
  • Rinne's abduction at the hand of Sara's (one of her bullies) older brother in Episode 5 is realistically portrayed as a mixture of both Nightmare Fuel and Tear Jerker. Despite this, the sequence manages to incorporate and ultimately end with some very awesome moments for both Rinne and Jill.
    • For starters, Jill manages to chase down Rinne's kidnappers' car on foot. When she arrives, Jill proceeds to effortlessly beat up all of the thugs in order to save Rinne, a girl that she does not even know. The only thing that prevents her from going after the brother himself at first is when the scumbag takes Rinne hostage.
    • Throughout the entire ordeal, Sara's brother constantly goes on about the pain and trauma Rinne put his sister through. Furious that the matter is being settled out of court, he makes it clear that as far as he is concerned, this does not excuse her actions and that justice is on his side. For her part, Rinne completely agrees with him and is prepared to face the consequences for her actions, even telling Jill as much despite the latter trying to save her. Then, when Jill still won't budge, the brother says something that changes everything. Glaring at Jill, he declares that he is avenging his sister and her friend's unjustified beating for a bit of light teasing and the betrayal they suffered at the hands of somebody who claimed to be their friend. Upon hearing this, Rinne's guilt vanishes and she becomes very angry! Within ten seconds, she breaks free of her bindings and seizes her captor's arm in a vice-like grip. For the next minute or so, their positions are reversed, as Rinne holds the brother at her mercy, proving that she is not a helpless would-be victim after all and that the man, like his sister before him, has messed with the wrong person!
    • Instead of beating him up, as she did with Sara, Rinne proceeds to subject the much larger teenager to a harsh reality check via a massive "Reason You Suck" Speech aimed at both him and her bullies. The speech itself is nothing short of karmic.
      • First of all, Rinne spells out to him that no, those three girls were not her friends nor the innocent victims here. They attacked Rinne first, repeatedly and maliciously!
      • Despite her later emotionless attitude, what Rinne says next demonstrates that she really does care about other people and shows what makes her different from her bullies. She declares that had Sara and the other girls apologised for their actions, she would have not only forgiven them but allowed the group to return the favour for what she did to them back at school. To not only take responsibility for your actions like that but admit that you were prepared to take a severe beating as well takes real courage.
      • Rinne then makes it clear to the brother that this offer has expired. Now that she knows the truth and realises that those vile girls manipulated their own families in order to get revenge on her, they have proven once and for all that they still feel no remorse for what they did to her. Although she doesn't say it directly, Rinne indicates that if they are prepared to sink that low, then the girls are not worthy of her pity or mercy. Instead, she effectively tells the brother that the evil trio deserved what they got and, as far as Rinne is concerned, are not even worth thinking about.
    • The cherry on the top however is when Rinne (completely by accident) causes the brother to suffer his own mental breakdown. How does she do it? By asking him which girl Sara is? Thanks to the fantastic animation, we as the audience can see reality hit the brother like a ton of bricks! Looking at Rinne in complete horror, he realises at that moment that Rinne genuinely doesn't know who Sara is. This means that everything else she said to him is true as well. Sara, his own sister, deceived and manipulated him! Just like that, the man's justification and excuses for his criminal actions are thrown completely out of the window. In a matter of seconds, he quickly realises that once word of this gets out, instead of being the avenging older brother who might have been looked at sympathetically by the authorities, he and the rest of his gang will be treated like criminals! Worst of all, the brother has unwittingly given Rinne and her family leverage to argue for a better court settlement, whilst he will now be going to prison for a very long time. Realising this, the brother snaps and tries to kill Rinne, only for Jill to kick him into some of the gaming machines, putting a decisive end to Rinne's ordeal!
    • A scene that no doubt made many people cheer. Once the evil brother and his cronies have finally been disposed of, Jill and Rinne introduce themselves properly to each other. The awesome part is that Rinne introduces herself as Rinne Berlinetta, showing that she has finally come to terms with what happened and is ready to move on with her life.
    • Although we do not see what happened afterwards, it is heavily implied (by the fact that this story is not being told by either Rinne or Jill) that the incident with both the bullies and the brother became common knowledge. This means the three girls' lies were exposed. In the end, Rinne simply transferred to another school, got a supportive probation officer, and moved back home with her parents. There is also no indication that her family exchanged any money with the other girl's families, implying that it did not occur. This in turn suggests an Awesome moment off-screen and it is not hard for us to imagine that upon learning what happened to their daughter, Rinne's parents gave the girls' families their just deserts. Think about it, the pair probably confronted the bullies' families with the new evidence, looked the other girl's parents right in the face, and ordered them to drop the charges against their daughter or else they would suffer the full consequences for their own children's actions.
  • The Rinne vs Vivio rematch. After controlling most of the fight, Vivio lets her guard down for a crucial moment after landing a solid face punch to Rinne, only for Rinne to tank that and land several crippling blows that leaves Vivio with several injuries including a fractured left leg. From here, Vivio reminds us that she's the daughter of Nanoha, and continues to fight despite the pain and handicap. She then shows Rinne and Jill how technique can overcome raw power when she switches up her stance and shows that she's been training herself to be able to effectively fight Southpaw style as well so she can throw off opponents that had gotten used to the distance and timing of her attacks while also removing the reliance on her injured leg. Once Rinne sees Vivio going for her Finishing Move, she attempts to repeat the tank and counter she did earlier, only for Vivio to introduce her to Accel Smash Infinity, a magical energy-infused Rapid-Fire Fisticuffs to the opponents vitals. Ten punches later, and Rinne has suffered her first loss via knockout.
  • The start of Rinne & Fuuka's final showdown at the end of Episode 9. Rinne seemingly scores the first big blow, hammering Fuuka with power-blows and throwing her so hard she slams into rubble. As she starts to walk away, however, Fuuka climbs out of the rubble with barely more than a scratch, proclaiming that Rinne is much weaker than she expected. She then dashes in before Rinne can even react and hammers her in the gut with a Dankuuken, sending Rinne flying back with such force that she crashes almost all the way through an abandoned store and leaves a sizable crater in the far wall. As Rinne tries to pick herself up, Fuuka struts in and proclaims that Rinne has a nasty habit of looking down on others but always quitting whenever things turn against her, and then swears that she's going to beat that rotten attitude out of her.
  • Rinne pulled up and leveled part of the ground with an uppercut.
  • In the middle of the final battle, Fuuka uses the same techniques the four "shorties" of the Nakajima Gym used when curb stomping her against Rinne, not only demonstrating an ability to pick up techniques by seeing them used against her, but also showing how far she's come.
  • And Rinne returning the favour by striking Fuka with an uppercut so ferocious, she sent her flying through the air and crashing down on a car hard enough to crush the roof in. The impact was strong enough that it broke through the protection field and bashed out a couple of Fuka's teeth. Virtually all the onlookers were left with no doubt that if it were a real fight, Rinne's punch would have killed Fuka outright. When Jill told Rinne "even God will be destroyed by your fist," she wasn't kidding.
  • Victoria manages to do something previously thought impossible in the third OVA: Beat Sieglinde in a tournament (by judge's call, but still).
