• An invisible mech was rampaging through the ASIS launch site, killing men left and right with energy blasts, completely unhindered by any counter attacks... until a single foot print from an equally invisible Mahr Vehl appears in front of it. Cue Curb-Stomp Battle.
• Sue Storm shutting down Hawkeye's complaints about her youth, inexperience in combat, and "unprofessional" compassion.
• How do the heroes defeat Gah Lak Tus? By Reed Richards harnessing the energy of an alternate universe's big bang and directing it at the swarm, successfully destroying a decently sized chunk of it and driving it to retreat!
• The mere fact that the heroes were able to defeat Gah Lak Tus at all is impressive considering that the Ultimate Marvel Universe isn't as powerful as the mainline 'verse. There's a serious lack of cosmic heavy hitters the Ultimates or the Fantastic Four can call on to give them an edge, with even characters like Ultimate Ghost Rider being considered an weird foe due to being a hell spawn. And yet, despite those shortcomings, they were still able to drive off the world eater and save the day.
