• The run gave a lot of NPCs their own Crowning Moments of Awesome. TPP usually only struggles with early Gym Leaders when they're Rock-type, but Falkner managed to take 7 tries, enough to meet the subreddit's standards for notability; Pryce took 13, and Clair took 26, an especially impressive total given the weight that Wattson's 23 attempts is given in TPP history. Whitney and her infamous Miltank, though? 3 attempts, fewest of any Johto Gym Leader. High the Furret just spammed Headbutt at the Miltank and kept flinching it.
• Needing only to mash A to eke out a victory over Pryce, a troll Up input switched Sadneton from Thunderbolt to the less-powerful Thundershock...so Sadneton simply landed a critical hit with the second one to survive with 20 HP.
• Eunice's first attempt at getting through the infamously challenging Ice Path was ended by a trainer with a Miltank, which reminded her that she still hadn't healed the sick Miltank at Moo Moo Farms. She went back to take care of it and still made it to Blackthorn City just 5 hours and 40 minutes after first setting foot in the Ice Path, less than half the time it took Aooo and more than 10 hours quicker than AJ.
• The "pushover redemption tour" continued into Kanto. Erika going down on the 4th try doesn't seem like much...until you go back through the archives of past runs and realize that unless she beat Red at least once (as record-keeping is kind of spotty for the earliest runs), those 3 victories over Eunice are more than she'd had against all previous hosts combined, and furthermore the first she'd ever had when not randomized to a different type.
• A massive one for Azure. She proved herself to be so challenging, to an almost completely unfair degree, that the Mob was forced to use Democracy in order to beat her. That's right: Azure forced the Mob to basically cheat in order to win, and she was still hard. Then they tried to beat her the "right" way, in Anarchy, out of sheer disgust for their actions...and failed. Azure has proven herself to be the only Final Boss in TPP history to be 100% unbeatable in Anarchy.
